Super Tracker Jacket - Meh

Super Tracker Jacket - Inspired by Hefty?

Another weird new jacket from Lululemon. I wish they stop concentrating their efforts on jackets and get back to designing tanks. And not skimpy low support tanks for flat chested young girls, something for women with major boobage who are going to move and sweat. The All Out tank is the first new design I've bought since October and I'm on the fence about how much it exposes.  Jackets must have a higher profit margin.  Can't Lululemon raid their old designs? There are lots of great ones they've discontinued that people want to see brought back -  Repose, Spark, Whisper, Cobra, Tri-Y, Glow, Pose, Sport, Goddess, Breeze, Fit, Speed, Not So Low, Action, Wrap Tech.

Update - Here are a couple of jackets from Adidas by Stella McCartney. I seriously think this is what Lululemon is going for with some of their new stuff. Note to Lululemon, if I liked her hideous designs I would buy them.

Originally, I thought this looked like a piece one would wear for jello wrestling. Now I am thinking that it looks like it came straight out of Agent Provocateur and needs some matching edible underwear!

I WISH they would bring back: Wrap Tech, Breeze, Cobra and Spark!

PS I'm waiting for my All Out to come thanks to you :-). Wait til those cardiac rehab guys see me in THAT ;-) and if the 30 year old trainers take a second look, all the better!

Wow, I didn't know Lulu came out with so many tanks before. Some of it I have never seen or heard. Would love to see them. They definitely should create some kind of history wall on the web site to display all past items even if it is not in stock.

Hold up- did that Super Tracker jacket seriously sell out of the website in just a few hours? In ALL colors and sizes? Huh?

PS Please bring back the SPARK.

@houndlvr67 -The All Out is pretty boobtastic - you *WILL* be getting second looks ;-)

@CJRun - The supertracker is only on the Canadian site for now. They can keep it as far as I'm concerned.

I think they are trying to make fashion forward workout wear like Stella McCartney for Adidas. If I wanted the Stella McCartney look I would buy her stuff.

I can't believe it is selling as well as it is on the Canadian site. YIKES.

The cocoon is also doing well on the US site. I don't see it as a worthwhile successor to the gratitude wrap. Maybe if I could bring myself to try it on. I'm just not that interested.

Stella McCartney also did a kids line for Gap last season...there is a jacket (made for girls) that looks rather like the Admiral Jacket. It was called "Leader of the Band" or something...I don't really like (AT ALL) the Stella Adidas line...YUK.

I will wait until I see the jacket before I poo poo it... it doesn't blow me away, but I've said that about a few of their items and loved them later.
I agree about the tank. I ordered the Flow Y bra in the tang light because I was dying to see this colour. Its VERY pretty, like orange sherbert, it would be really nice in a racerback so I am going to keep it in hopes they bring out the tank soon, if not I'll layer it under a V neck T. I am tempted to order the lagoon one as well. I really wish lulu would just let us know what is coming done the line a little more!

OMG LMAO about the Stella McCartney comments. I am with you - they're HIDEOUS and obviously meant to appeal to some weird non-workout workout fashionistas who don't want to look like they're working out when they're working out. (Does that make sense?!). I had a peek at her website and the stuff was totally lame. I wouldn't wear that ever.

I like the features of the jacket, but not the hefty-inspired material below the bust. Also, don't like how the style in general flows out under the bust.

Interesting that so many people are dissing the SuperTracker. I just bought one and I absolutely LOVE IT. It's definitely unique, and very edgy. That's what I like about it. Plus, my husband thinks it's hot.

I would just like to point out that not all Lululemon product is meant to be directed towards the middle aged target market. By creating fashionable product they are able to reach the likes of younger women as well. Although, this may not seem flattering to your likings, it doesn't not mean it's crap. You should consider that before you go bashing the product just because it doesn't look good on you or because you want to stick to what you know. And no, I am not some inactive teen. Thanks..

@ April 6 anon - Bite Me.

When I pick on a Lululemon product, it's because it's ugly and/or non-functional. Maybe the Super Tracker and Lululemon clothes in general are high fashion where you live up in BFE Canada but not where I live. You know, in Southern California, where we pretty much dictate casual style to the world.

The Super Tracker jacket *doesn't* work. No matter how skinny your ass is the slit does not stay shut & the mesh under layer is itchy. It's a poor design and impractical.

As for a fashionable design that Lululemon does right - check out the No Limit tank - perfectly executed work out top that mimics (note, I say, mimics) current styles.
