Hmm, the ls shirts looks kind of shapeless and like pajamas to me. The colors are pretty, but I'd definitely prefer more fitted work out gear.

Have you tried the Modern racerback yet? I'm wondering how it compares to the cool racerback.

Luluaddict, following the Spring '10 Pantone colors, you might be interested to know that Lagoon is one of the top ten Fall 2010 colors picked by Pantone. Looks like we'll be seen more Lagoon in the future from other designers. >.<

I love your blog, I was wondering if you could tell me what is the difference between the deep V tanks 1, 11 and 111? Thanks
Susan

@anonymous: I went down one size in the modern racerback from my cool racerback size. the modern racerback is a more relaxed fit and super stretchy. Even one size down isn't tight at all.

I second the "shapeless pajama" comment.

I haven't tried the Modern Racerback. I spend 90% of my $ on the technical wear. I hate working out in cotton. From what I've read, the Modern racer runs looser than the Cool Racerback.

@ Susan - I'm not sure about all the differences between the Athletic Deep V I, II, and III. I bought the ADV when it was first out and it had a plastic ipod cord feeder tunnel on the left side, under your arm. The tunnel disappeared in the subsequent versions. I'm not sure what the difference between the II & the III is, though. I only have a bunch of IIIs now. I suspect it probably has something to do with the materials used in the built in bra since the outsides haven't changed at all since the first one.

I'm not a fan of the I Just Wanna Run tank. I am outsized by this tank. If I am going on a long distance run, I want to have something fitted, not loose with a bunch of awkward ruching.
The run ream spirit shirt looks cute-- I haven't tried it on, but I will have to the next time I am in the store!
And for me the modern racer tank is definitely looser than that cool racerback. The pima cotton is really soft, but I would definitely prefer the cool racerback fabric. Plus the modern racer shows a lot of sweat. I think it is cute/fun for daily wear, but for a strenuous workout, I think the cool racerback is a better fit..

@ Lacey - I agree with you about the I Just Wanna Run tank for running. If I was a runner I would think the ruching in the front would become irritating and it's kind of heavy. I would think streamlined is the key to comfortable running. I don't know why Lululemon keeps coming out with all their complicated clothing to run in. To me, the Track and Field Jacket was too puffy and had too much going on. I can't imagine why anyone would want the Clarity Vest to run (or bike for that matter) in with the hood banging around on your back (or flying in your face when on a bike). If your arms are already bare why add the hood?

I got the I Just Wanna Run for spin class and for gym workouts on hot days. (I live in Southern California and the gym can get pretty warm.) The Silverescent is a great lightweight, breathable material.

Great thanks for answering my question on the deep V tank, I'm loving your blog and slowly building up a Lululemon clothes collection. Pity they don't have a store here out in Ireland.
