Does Your Circle Mesh Stink?
This all may fall under TMI, but I am wondering if any of you have noticed that your garments that use Circle Mesh under the armpits seem to retain body odor more than other Lululemon fabrics. It could be just me and my personal body chemistry but of all the fabrics Lululemon uses I find the Circle Mesh seems to really retain body odor and require washing after every wearing no matter how little I sweat wearing it. This is especially true in my long sleeve running luon tops like the Hills and Energy Pullovers. I like the breathable and tactile properties of Circle Mesh but it certainly isn't anti-stink for me. I am curious about your experiences with it.

I have not noticed it with my long sleeve tops with circle mesh (I run in them) and while I am a pretty big "sweater", if I'm running in long sleeves that means it is quite, quite chilly out which is going to reduce my sweat levels.
Mine does not, so far. However I am very diligent about washing my exercise tops after every wear though, with a sport wash (Win). I have a few items that I did not do this with - once the stink gets in, it never truly gets out.
Mine don't and they take some heavy abuse.
I have not noticed any smell so far. I washed it after every wear too, not immediately though - usually once a week.
I have to wash mine pretty much the same night/day after it's worn, otherwise the stink sets in and I wash to wash a couple of times before it comes out. Lulu's circle mesh is similar to all the other breathable fabrics out there - whether it's Nike's dri-fit or Adidas' Climacool gear.
It's bacteria stuck to the fabric that's creating a stink whenever it gets moist. Try soaking your garment overnight in full strength vinegar, then wash it twice to remove the vinegar smell. Vinegar really takes care of sweat odors and it's gentle on fabrics.
I found this solution from google. And it worked even on my machine washable down jacket. Hope it works out for you : )
I've never noticed, so I don't think it does. I'll pay attention next time I wear my no limit tank for a workout.
I find my does a little. I have to run energy pull overs (tang and black) and both smell a little and I wash them immediately after I use them. I am a HUGE sweater especially when it is cold out (I know, doesn't make a lot of sense).
Not sure if you are still keeping this blog but YES!!!! mine totally smells! its a combo of fresh deodorant with undertones of sweat! i live in a building with communal laundry room, so i dont have many washing options and i cant wash all my clothes immediately. i have washed some of my tops twice and even with oxyclean and no dice. if you have found any tricks i would love to hear them!!
