Got My Flashback Crops Today

I got my Flashback crops today. I like them, especially for $29. They are comfy, not as soft as the Feel Good pants, but very comfy. I wonder if the Feel Goods are "brushed" on the inside because the Flashbacks feel a little thinner even though I think they are the same material. I think they look is a little less casual than the Feel Good Pants. I might actually wear these to run errands or watch my kid's baseball games. The pockets are a bit odd. They feel like they sit very low on my leg and I can feel the pocket material rubbing against my thigh on the inside. Oh yeah, the Lululemon logo is not embroidered - just stamped on. I think that is kind of cheesy for pants that were originally $68. I thought all the french terry stuff had embroidered logos. Other than that, though, I really like them. I hope the Namaste pants go on markdown for $29 so I can try them out, too. I'll have to check my stores to see if they have them on the markdown rack.

I got a pair of flashbacks at my store on sale. I think they are very comfy but I don't think they are flattering about the waist/hips (bulky) but they were cheap so purchased for the proverbial "farting around the house". On another note, I purchased the dance sweat pants in heathered clarity grey a while ago and I just love them. Think they are a great combination of relaxed yet flattering. I got them in bold blue at the store yesterday because I knew if I didn't get another pair and they went permanently out of stock I'd be bummed I hadn't snagged them when I had the chance.

I picked up a couple pair of the flashback crops too. I really like them, especially for $29.

The "new" flashback crops (with the stripes at the waist) have an embroidered logo on the lower left calf. Didn't find them flattering, though (maybe I'm just too tall for them, as they hit me at the "wrong" spot)

@pilatesmom Did you ever have the older sweat pant Lulu pant II? They are bringing these back in the same color that you bought but with a lavendar stripe at the waise. The only difference is the Lulu II doesn't have front pockets. I was debating which one to get. Some reviews people don't like how the pockets stick out. Just wondering if you've tried both. You got both the colors I plan on getting. Thanks for the input.

FYI: There is a picture of Kate Gosselin wearing the lulu Zen wrap at some book signing --

@anon:
I don't have the lulu IIs but on me the dance sweat pockets don't stick out AT ALL and don't add any bulk at all (stayed in my normal lulu pant size) - in fact, they are very "sleek" looking. Also very comfy and "stretchy" feeling : )

My $29 Flashback Crops arrive this week, I can't wait. Pilatesmom made a good point about picking up the bold blue dance sweat pants while they're available, I've wanted them for a while - I think it's time to pick them up before they're all gone! Just on a side note, Devi Pants were $29 at my local lulu. Those pants were a huge bomb, seems like.

I love the flashback crops (old ones)! They seem to be flattering on me! I have one in black and one in heathered charcoal---got both of them on sale! I love how comfy they are---I can just lounge around the house with them, and I feel like they are cute enough to wear out of the house like if im running errands or something. I don't like the new ones, though. I feel like they're extra baggy....and without the rouching on the side they are just a regular pair of sweatpants.

@anonymous & pilatesmom. Just a note on Lulu II vs the Dance Sweat Pants - I have them both in heathered clarity gray (3 white cats in the house LOL). I prefer the look of the lulu II - MUCH sleeker in style and more flattering IMO. The Dance Sweats are great but they're definitely baggier over the hips, butt area and I'm a curvy person so it's not like pants are usually baggy in my hips. LOL

The pockets do have this weird space on the tops of them, but I think its for your thumbs, like when you put your thumbs in belt loops of your jeans, anyone else think so?

RE: Lulu pant vs Dance Sweat pant.
I tried both and do not like the Dance sweat at all...way too much material in the butt and hips and the pockets stuck out. I admit I do not have much junk in my trunk....so I would advise trying on if you have the opportunity as it depends on your shape. I do, however own 2 pairs of the Lulu pant...the only inconvenience (for me) is I need them hemmed and do not live close to a store, the dance sweat pants have a draw string on the ankle so you can adjust yourself.
