Run: Zoom Bike Short

  • High-performance padded cycle short for indoor use
  • Power luxtreme™ for muscle support & wicking during high-sweat workouts
  • High back rise for coverage while bent forward
  • Lightweight quick-dry chamois for padded comfort
  • Hem gripper elastic prevents short from riding up, or flip it up when you don't need it
  • Zipper pocket for cards, keys or spin pass!
  • Chafe resistant - flat seams
Interesting.  When is Lululemon going to start listing the inseam on their shorts? Doesn't every other clothing site do this?

This look cute but they look very short. I wear regular bike shorts by Pearl Izumi and they come part way down my thigh. As you stated, it would be nice to know the inseam. I'll have to give them a try when they hit the stores.

I agree about the shortness, and I wish they would post the inseam too!! They say they listen to feedback, how hard is to post this?

I am hoping they offer something more padded for outdoor cycling. I will try these on though! Fingers crossed they come out with other versions!

I just got back from lulu... the zoom shorts (not the ones in this post, the other zoom shorts), are 76$!!!! WTH?!! Crazzzyyy!! I think the biker groove shorts were 48? I know the zoom shorts have ruching and a zipper pocket, but still... I passed.
I did get a pair of zoom crops even though I initially swore them off. I tried them on it a coal with a subtle passion sticthing and they looked really nice. I hope they stay put during runs!

Just got back from LuLu to pick up some items getting hemmed and saw two new jackets. They said they came in this morning and they were still hanging them to put on display. The Free 2 Be jacket, which is french terry and comes in sports grey, black or passion. I am getting the black and grey ones. There was another jacket but I can't remember the name. It is basically the updated version of the run energy pullover, which I wasn't able to get when it first came out. It comes in solid black with no contrasting color stripes, white, lavendar and green combo, like the run like the wind singlet, (yuck) and a white with grey tiny stripes. I am getting the black next week. I didn't see any product notifications on either of these.

The Zoom Shorts are $76? That seems on the high side but then I think the Clam Diggers are priced kind of high, too.

I would never buy Lululemon bike shorts for real cycling. I have some Pearl Izumi and Descente bike shorts from 15 or so years ago when I was into road biking and training for a century ride and they are so well made - the fabric is much heavier/sturdier than power luxtreme and the chamois is really nice. I would buy from a company that specializes in cycling products. I don't think Lululemon has the necessary expertise to make a functional bike short for serious cyclists.

I think you are right luluaddict... I just find some of the cycling gear out there so ugly, but I don't think they have the expertise either.

these look shorter than the tri-babe shorts i picked up last summer. the tri-babe shorts had the "chamois" aka butt pad and the grips around the leg, but the waist-pocket was kind of lame. a zip pocket on this style is an improvement.

I tried on the free to be jacket...large hood, very casual and short. I prefer the length of the stride...

Someone posted pictures on their FB page, can't remember what store...

Got my WWA and Gather Together today...WWA is too bright still not sure I like the fit. The Gather...wow what a bright zipper...still deciding if I like. Zipped up it doesn't do my figure any favors...so wondering how often I would have it zipped...
