Half Moon Clothes Modeled in a Larger Size

The West Edmonton Store was kind enough to take photos of a woman modeling some items from the Half Moon line in size 10 & 12. It's pretty rare to see this so I thought I'd post it for the more voluptuously proportioned women to see. If you are on the larger side, it's very intimidating to walk into a lululemon store but I think their clothes are the best designed to make the most of your curves, minimize your flaws, and make you enjoy your workout.
Half Moon Jacket and Crop in a size 12.

50 Rep Bra - Size 12. Note that she looks busty here & kudos to her for taking this photo. However, when she puts on the size 10 Half Moon tank something weird happens to her chest. We've seen this in many photos of this tank whether the model is a size 4 or 10. It must not give good support. I saw one photo of a woman who layered a Flow Y underneath the half moon tank. I'll try to find it. However, it's very annoying to double up on bras when the tank has a built in bra.

Your right luluaddict it is nice to see them showing bigger sizes!
BUT...I went to this Edmonton mall store last month and was treated HORRIBLY! I have a full closet of lulu and spend an embarrassing $800-$1200 a month on new stuff. I am a 10-12, 14 in the V neck. Keep in mind I was of course in head to toe lulu as I went into the store. It was an early Monday, no one else in the store, I was excited to be there as I am 6hrs from this nearest lululemon. I brought my guy with me, he was also wearing lulu. We entered the store and the mens section is first, there was a male employee putting away stock, I said hello to him, tried to be friendly, told him how it's fun to get to the store in person for me. He was short with words and then walked away. I went to the tank section and passed 2 other employees Smiled at both and it seemed like they both avoided eye contact!? Not even a hello. I already had an armful of clothes to buy when I was picking out a couple new CRB's and another employee came and basically pushed me out of the way to light a candle right above my head, so I said Hi, she did say Hi back, but then walked away. I didn't get any service in this store. I had to dig to find grooves in my size, dig in the drawers to find hoodies. At no point was I offered ANY type of customer service, or even aknowleged and I was the only one in the store! I usually feel such a high when I leave a lulu store with a bag full of new stuff! But this time I felt quite annoyed that I had spent so much $$ with ppl who made me feel so uncomfortable. Anyways, the Kingsway Mall store staff are AMAZING! Every single time I go there, no matter how busy they are, the girls run around and help everyone! I shopped with my mother in law, and suggested she try on the Free2Be, she said "I'm too old for this" the girl working and I said at the same time 'lulu is for everyone'! and we all laughed! They are always fun and friendly at Kingsway. This is the way lulu shopping should be.

Has anyone bought the half moon crops yet? I tried them on yesterday and I just have a hard time adjusting to stripes on the bottom. I could get all black but I haven't decided yet. My friend works there and they were trying to talk me into especially since I purchased the heathered coal wee stripe zoom tank & it would match. I'm still undecided. I don't run and I currently only have groove crops for summer. I am trying to wait for the Run: with in crops to come in & see how those it. Have you seen these yet in person?

I bought and then returned the half moon crops the next day. There was something weird about the way they fit me at the low waist, I think it was the way the color stripe on the waist ends in a V- it made my stomach look bigger than it is. I liked the legs & the stripes. I wear a size 6 in tops & bottoms in lulu and I did not think they are flattering on me. My favorite crops are the wunder unders and the astro. THe grooves hit me in a weird spot on the legs and aren't as flattering in my opinion. I did just buy the SUn salutation tank yesterday and am in LOVE with it! THey styling is great and so is the fabric. I think what I have decided is that I am just not a luxtreme lover, its luon and luon light all the way for me!

I just called the GEC about the Groove pants on the website with what looks like lavender and tang - and he informed me that they are actually the spring quilting 3 -- and it is actually white and not lavender its just the lighting -- at first I was so excited because he said they have them -- then so sad because it wasn't the right ones!! Michael was very nice and helpful though!!! I totally love the look but am no fan of the white with other colors as it always looks dingy to me no matter how careful I am washing!! Bummer --- but anyone interested they have them online in all sizes

you know i just went back and looked more thoroughly and they are definitely not the spring quilting 3 because that has the black line between the 2 bands and the camel toe ad does not -- UGH!!!!

@danadcbc - It's too bad you had a bad experience at the Edmonton store. It could be they had the cranky crew working that morning. I often dig through the drawers and stacks to find stuff. I often find marked down stuff that way. I've found a pair of older, made in Canada Clam Diggers last summer. The bonus was that the price was $54 and not the new price of $70+.

@Luvlulu - I haven't tried the Half Moon crops and I haven't seen the Run: With It crops yet either. I definitely want to try those on. I'm not really interested in the Half Moon crops. I prefer luon crops with a bit of a flair at the bottom to let a little air cool my legs. If I am going to buy a fully fitted crop, I prefer a luxtreme because those are more wicking and cool. I am starting to wear luxtreme crops more and more these days.

@momof 5 - It could be the spring quilting 3 grooves. They might have air-brushed the dark line between the two stripes out and touched up the bands of color to look more uniform. The middle section of the top line looks like it might not be tang light - almost a yellow but the bottom line looks solid lavender. I think they airbrushed the pants in the photo.

Danadcbc : Am sorry for your bad experience. That was bad customer service. You should put your comment up on the FB page. Some of the educators do read them and GEC will forward this comments to the store.
