Happy Mother's Day & Today's Shopping Trip

Dance Sweat Pant II

I went shopping in the hopes of finding the Potion Purple Push UR Limits but they are not in my stores yet. I am hoping they show up sometime this week since other stores in the US have them. The trip wasn't a waste of time. I tried on the Cool Racerbacks in Angel Blue and Potion Purple and decided I liked Potion Purple best with my coloring. I also tried on a Mynah jacket in the Heathered Coal Wee Stripe. The Mynah runs pretty big and boxy. I liked it but I really don't need another jacket. I saw the Half Moon crops and jackets but didn't love them enough to even bother trying them on. I tried on the Coal reverse to Black grooves. The luon felt really different - slicker and spongier than regular luon. If any of you ever saw or tried on the dark purple/black Grooves from last spring, they didn't feel at all like them. My local stores had some nice bargains. I ended up getting a pair of black Dance Sweat Pants for $44. What was weird that the second store I went to only had them marked down the $69 - $5 off.

I wish those were marked down in my store! I also went for a Mothers Day shopping trip and got a short sleeve run swiftly top in Lagoon and a long sleeve run swiftly in lavender w/ coal piping and a pair of wunder under organic cotton charcoal crops. Can't wait to wear them tomorrow! I wish my local stores had the sun salutation tanks and the half moon crops- I am dying to try them on! I wonder if the fit like the wunders....those are my favorite!

Happy Mother's Day! I'm wearing my new lulu - ribbed racerback and static/savage green remix. Love them both! I wish the Dance Sweatpants would drop to $44 at my lulu - I'd pick up a pair for sure!

Happy Mother's Day!!

We went to the city, ate awesome Mexican, then went to Lulu (my hubby played with my kids across the street at Oz park :) ). The Halsted store had LOTS marked down, but nothing that I wanted. I would have bought the Dance Sweat Pants but they are about 1.5" short for me. They had lots of Flashback Jackets/Crops/Skirts AND Half Moon Jackets/Crops (which hadn't been touched). All three ladies in line in front of me had potion purple Define Jackets :). I just bought a Sunrise Tank in chirp for my daughter that was down to $39.
Potion has to rank up there on my list of favorite Lulu colors. The GEC did confirm, that the potion Free To Be is coming but "don't know when or where"...
I am really enjoying my "sample" angel Free To Be ;-).
Halsted looked like they were expecting a major shipment as some areas were quite sparse.

i tried on the black/coal reversible grooves in my store last weekend as well and thought they felt so different too - like they put more polyester in the material, felt silkier or something. when I asked the educator about it, she said that was because they were reversible. but i don't really think she knew what she was talking about lol. the fit also looked different, and they were about half an inch shorter than my other grooves in regular length. very weird!! so needless to say, i didn't buy them. i really hope this is not the "new" luon for the grooves.

by the way, i saw this instructor at my gym yesterday wearing the half moon crops and they didn't look that great to me either.

Happy Mother's Day to all!
My local stores don't mark their items down that much. The Dance Sweats are $54 and they only had Bold Blue and Senorita pink. They had sold all the black prior to the markdown. I did notice that they had the heathered clarity grey full price still on the shelf, kind of strange. A few months back, my gym had all the flashback jackets at least a month before any store did, even in Canada. Yesterday I saw a flashback jacket in angel blue w/grey contrasting stripes. I am still getting the Free 2be but I guess they will be releasing more flashback jackets, or at least in that color. I saw the push ur limits tank in the new colors in the Walnut Creek store, but my store, Santana Row in San Jose still has not received them.

@ Anon 8:17 - Oooh, Flashback in Angel Blue. Lululemon is really lacking in blue jackets to wear with jeans and old Deep Navy pants. I really like my Flashback jacket and Angel Blue is so pretty. I am hoping the new Push UR limits makes it down here this week. I guess I can always call the GEC.

I love your blog and comments from everyone.

I got the Define Jacket in Angel Blue today and I really love that color. I am looking forward for Flashback Jacket in Angel Blue color.

@Luluaddict
There is a picture of the new Sunblocker top in potion purple on Santana Row's facebook page. They don't post alot of pictures of new things like some of the sites but I everyone was looking for one so I thought I'd pass the info along to you.

Thanks, anon - I'll post the pic of the Sunblocker and add that store to my pages.

I have two pairs of reversible WU's from a run last year (black/Pow Pink and black/Ocean Blue), and I think the Luon does feel a little smoother on those than it does on my other Luon stuff, like it's a little closer to Luxtreme in its feel. I really love my reversible WU's--they are among my favorite Lulu pieces--and wish I had the cash to spare for the black/coal ones right now!

the new reversible grooves actually have a 2% higher lycra content than the regular luon - that's why they feel silkier and more like luxtreme!

I want to get the black/coal reversible WU's... Can anyone confirm if they run the same as the regular WU's? Thanks!!!
