Seek The Peak Jacket - Artist's Version

The artist rendering of the Seek the Peak jacket makes it look a lot sexier and curve-hugging than the photos we've been seeing, including the photos of the model on the store website. Hmmm. Maybe it looks better on hour glass shaped women.

I'd like to see the jacket modeled with tight fitting pants like Wunder Unders rather than the baggy Seek the Peak pants. I'm not a fan of the Hazmat suit look.
Maybe that's why I like this photo best, she is wearing snug pants.

If this were made out of Luon or french terry it would look a lot more curve hugging. The wide breaker fabric only looks good with very simple, form-fitting designs. I can't think of any lululemon jacket made with this material that actually looks good.

I wonder how it would have looked if they had done the windbreaker part in the Flight material that the Clarity Vest was made of? The Flight fabric would have still provided windblocking, but isn't as stiff the stuff they used for the Seek the Peak.

I personally think the Seek the Peak line is a train wreck!
Not flattering to a woman's body at all.

I tried on the Jacket and the shorts...both were losers (MAJOR!!) for me. The sleeves on the jacket were beyond odd...
Maybe I just need to do more inversions or recreational drugs to "get it"...

Yeah, the artists version looks super cute. The ACTUAL jacket....super NOT. I tried it on and it wasn't flattering at all with all that flapping going on.

OK, guess WHAT. I was in my store today telling the educator that I had tried on the seak the peak jacket and didn't like it and it was all flappy, etc and ended up taking it into the fitting room with me one size down from my normal size. I'm pretty much always a 6 in lulu jackets unless they are a very generous cut or a roomy wrap or something. Well, today I took the size 4 into the dressing room in the grey check and it looked amazing on (much like the artists version). No flapping, just very sleek and slimming thorough the torso. I love it. I bought it! If it gets marked down I'll buy it in size 4 in the black as well. Go figure.

I just bought the seek the peak jacket today at my lulu store- I got the black white plaid with charcoal sleeves/body. It fit super cute and wasn't floppy at all. I got it on sale for $39! True, I would've have bought it at the $98 retail price because you can't wear it every day, but for this price I thought it was a steal! But I agree, the seek the peak pants are pretty weird fitting.
