Walking the Walk

This photo is from of one of my nearby stores. I love that she's wearing her Polar Heart Rate monitor watch (and not the cheap one like I have). At least I know her experience wearing Lululemon while exercising is authentic. Not like this...

I totally agree. Thought the second outfit is cute, I want to know that my clothing will stand up to my runs, hot yoga and bar method classes....

Is she wearing the Run: Energy SS? It looks so cute from the side. I see the angel blue run:energy so I assume that's what this is. The front has the writing on it right? I don't like that. My store got in the Run: With in crops, I can't wait to go try them on this Friday.

How do you know the second girl doesn't exercise in her lulu as well? I love it when lulu pieces can be dressed up or down.

Looks like the uploaded some size replenishments on the site -- also added the mynah top in some colors --

What are the side holes for on that top?

I ordered the charcoal LUX from the Canadian side to try but I think it will be too short on me as my torso is long. I'll bring it back to the store if that's the case.
Anyone else find the LUXs too short?

There were photos of the second girl doing yoga in her Bliss tank. I just prefer to see photos of the technical clothes used for working out. There was a great series done by the San Diego store ( I think) showing an educator bent over a spin bike, lifting weights, & doing yoga poses so you got an idea how the clothes would move with your body. It was instructive because you could totally see down her top on the spin bike. I think most if us have no trouble coming up with casual outfits for ourselves but figuring out if a piece of athletic wear would work for our sport and our figures is much harder. That's why I value the feedback feature of the lululemon website and that left on facebook and what I get here.

I should add that I take educator input with a grain of salt and be sure to ask them what activities they use their clothes for if they are suggesting a particular item to me. I weight the feedback of people who paid full price for their clothes more highly.

I agree that it's more helpful to see the clothes in actual athletic use. . . BUT I have awful style sense and seeing how the clothes can be dressed up is awesome for people like me!

I agree with you, E. I would consider myself a serious athlete and I do use Lulu to train in, but I also love an athletic brand that can provide more laid-back, casual wear for when I'm not training. For me, my training is such a huge part of my life that I like having a top, like the Bliss top, from my favorite athletic brand, that I can wear with or under my work clothes because I feel that much closer to my running, my passion, when I'm sitting at work and not able to run at that moment..

Do take educator input with a grain of salt as full timers get 60% off, part timers 40% off. They also get an incentive for making their "goal for the day, week.." (aka commission).

I was actually really jazzed when I first saw that second photo. I have most of the pieces shown in that photo: black jacket, wunder unders, and brown boots. I never would have thought to put them together. That almost makes me want to buy a Bliss Tank. I love seeing photos of Lulu pieces doing double duty as everyday wear. Being able to wear them outside the gym makes the expense a little easier to justify. :)
