Dang - Run Zoom Singlet re-stocked but not the Savage Green

Wasn't the Run: Zoom Singlet down to just the Angel blue version on the US side of the website? Now the HCWS and the black are back and fully stocked in 2-12. I wish the Savage Green stripe would be re-stocked. I missed that one and it's not showing up in my local stores although matching running crops and shorts are. Crumbs!

I too have been watching for the savage singlet...Every time I was online I checked and finally the other day--bingo...my size had been returned. I quickly scooped it up. It did seem as though the the other colors were fully stocked all the time and it wasn't until this week that the angel blue started to sell out in some sizes.

Keep looking. It may pop back on as a return.

There was a 10 in the Savage but it's gone now. I check the Zoom Singlet every time I'm on the website (multiple times a day) for the Savage but no luck yet. I understand returns usually show up around 1-ish Pacific time and have found this to be true.

I also check the Loot section obsessively hoping to score some awesome deal. I'm waiting for the underwear to hit $3 a pair again. That was awesome when that happened.

I don't like the model pictured with the Zoom Singlet wee stripe. I don't think they should use her to sell tanks when they come half way down her chest!!

I agree, Anon, about the HCWS photo. The photos of the Angel and Black look much better. My heathered coal wee stripe zoom doesn't hang that low on me. You would think Lululemon would catch something like this but this isn't the first time we've noticed issues with the quality control of the photos.

Speaking of models. The lulu models look like "regular" models, not "fitness models." They should hire some of the models from the Athleta catalog.

I don't think she looks like any type of model. I have always thought it is an employee. She is fit but not over the top fit. She is not skinny like a standard model. I have also noticed that her chin has something funky going on that they should cover with make up. My chin needs help too...just sayin...

You guys are funny. Blemish on the chin - One time they had a woman who had a black toenail modeling pants.

I suspect they use employees as models, too. When they first started out they had a very androgynous woman model the clothes - not much chest, big shoulders, straight waist, no hips and they would pose her straight on, like she was in front of a firing squad. They finally got the curvier lady, used in the Angel Blue Zoom photo, but they turn her at a 45-degree angle making it hard to see the detail of the tops. A slight angle is fine but it's too extreme. It's especially annoying with the pants, you can't properly get an idea of how the pants look at all.

I don't get how they could be so clueless about posing their models. My background isn't in marketing or merchandising but I certainly know what information I like to see as a consumer. You would also think they'd study the websites of their competition - Lucy, Athleta, Zobha - to get feel for what the industry standard is. It' either cluelessness or arrogance. It kills me that their stores are so beautifully planned and merchandised and the website is amateur-hour. I don't get the disconnect at all.

Last summer Rue La La had a Lululemon private sale and the model and poses they used was quantum leaps better than what Lululemon does. She made the clothes look so hot.

Have you guys been to the Lucy website? I don't know the technical term but they have a little movie/dynamic picture where the model twirls around in place. I think it is very useful to see the clothes in motion. If you click on 'TOPS' it'll take you to the top level page where those photos are. I have to say the tanks are pretty cute. I've been spotting more Lucy at my gym lately.

@luluaddict: i agree, very nice 360 degree feature on the lucy site

Since we are on the subject of Lulu "models", the half moon tank photo is terrible (black color). The straps are positioned in a very odd manner. Another bad pic is the senorita pink CRB and the tang light modern racer tank. I'm glad I know how most tanks fit me because I wouldn't want to buy them if I relied only on the website photos.

I really want the Angel Blue. My store didn't have any in my size and neither does the website. I don't want the grey or black enough to order it online and then have to return it if it doesn't fit well, but the for Angel Blue I would! I just got the Angel Blue/Coal Run With It crops and I want an outfit!
