Upload Thursday

There is nothing I've seen pictured on the stores' facebook pages this week that really appeals to me other than the Savage Swiftly tee. I like the new two-tone SE Cool Racerbacks a lot but am going to wait for other color combinations. I'm hoping something new shows up today but I'm not holding my breath. I guess we'll find out shortly...

I wonder if there will actually be an upload today. I know a few new things were uploaded last night in loot on the Canadian side. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to the uploads, they seem to happen whenever.... am I the only one who feels this way?

So far, nice upload today. Lots of swifty tees and tanks. going to have to break down and get the angel blue swiftly.

Uploads are there...just go to the Women's page and hit "new arrivals". SE CRB in Potion Purple only...$3 extra for multi-color stitching. Seriously? Gather Dance Tank is poorly photographed--she looks 5 months preggo. gather shorts look aweful, too. zoom singlets, pep tanks, stow n' go jacket ($78 for that???). oh boy...

Anonymous said...

the model is overflowing in the gather dance strap bra...what a way to promote for bustier customers!

ojodeazul said...

@anon 7:59. I thought the same thing when I saw that bra, it is almost too much.

And the model in the Tank (black) is most definitely prego.

Funny -- i thought the same thing - the gather is maternity wear -- and the bra -- that is almost obscene!!!

The gather shorts look way to short for my taste --

I grabbed a savage swiflty -- but nothing else -- contemplating the angel as I have nothing in this color -

To the almighty Lulu gods: Please post something other than the SAME 12 things that have been on Loot! for the past three months (nobody is buying the Allegro--call it a "loss" and move on). If it's on sale in the stores and Canada's side of the website, it should be on sale on the US side. Thank you for listening, have a nice day.

Anyone interested in the modern dress--it is with the socks and undies --good place for it!!!

OK, I ordered the Potion Swiftly SS. I hope I like the tee shirt version better than the tank version. Also, if you kind of like the swiftly tanks in the store but the armholes are too low, I've noticed the tanks in the store get stretched out hanging on the hangers with the security tag. I bought my bold blue Swiftly tank from ebay and the armholes aren't nearly as big as those that I've seen in the stores.

There must be two SE Potion CRBs because the one I saw in the store yesterday had the mesh around the armholes and neck hole but not the three rows of stitching. Maybe they'll upload the green and white versions a little later this morning. That sometimes happens.

If you already have a Lagoon Run: Swiftly tee, I wouldn't get the Angel because the two are nearly identical in color, unless you love the color. The store yesterday had them both side by side and the difference is very subtle.

Dang - the potion Zoom singlet was restocked but not the green?

In the Potion Gather Dance Strap tank photo, the girl is hunched over. She looks preggers in the black one.

The Modern Racer dress is in the underwear section. Good job cheap-o outsourced programmers. You get what you pay for, Lululemon.

The Knotty tank would be a lot cuter if it were much shorter - if it ended at the height of your hip bones. Right now it looks like an apron or smock.

I bought the angel blue swifty racerback. LuluAddict, I completely agree, the swifty tanks that I have bought from the store fit funny, the ones I have purchased from the website or my bar method studio fit much much better..

Hesitating whether to get the Potion Swiftly SS. Shall i stay in my regular size 6 or shall i up size to wear a more comfort T.

The online store is driving me crazy. I am lucky that I live near several stores because I can't handle the mess of this company's website. I posted on the Facebook page months ago (along with others) regarding how the website is ALWAYS wrong. I was looking at a tank in a floral print on the page and then when I clicked it was the splatter print. I got fed up and posted that they needed to get their act together because they are losing customers. I also said that is is ridiculous that they don't have someone who's sole job it is to verify the website for ALLLLL these errors. It's kind of stupid that we all catch them and let them know and that's how they get fixed. Customers are doing their job for them. I got the standard "thank you, we will pass this along to the team" response. Grrr….

On another note, I only bought the go go shopper today because I like the colourful manifesto print. Hoping I'll like it anyway and that the size will work because again (like everything else) there are no measurements on the site… If not, back to the store it goes.

A hidden gem in the upload (or maybe it was uploaded a tad later) - the Potion Purple Free to Be Jacket! Finally! I had almost given up hope that they would ever make it available in the US. It was my only purchase from this week's upload - nothing else popped up of interest that I hadn't already checked out at my local store. But the Potion Free 2B made my morning :)

Free 2 Be in potion up now...

Also,I just bought the modern racer tank with the white with Flamingo patterm reminds me of my summers in FL as a kid How does this usually run? I hope I purchased the right size.

LuluAddict... what size do you get the swiftly tee in since you are a little bustier?

Sorry for the inconvenience.

You've stumbled upon a temporary problem we're having. Usually this problem gets resolved quickly, without you doing a thing. In fact it may be taken care of now. Try pressing the Reload or Refresh button on your browser. Hopefully that will take care of things.

If that doesn't fix the problem, please be patient while we sort it out and try again shortly. The fact that you're reading this page means we've been automatically notified of the issue, and we're working on it now.

The above is the message I received when trying to finalize my order. So, does this mean my order was processed or not? Stupid $#@%! lululemon online ordering! Now what do I do? Grrrr!

@OJo-- the modern fits roomy -- i sized down for a more fitted look -- -

luvlulu said...

@ajodeazul - I wear a 6 in all tanks and I size down for the modern racerback. I just picked up mine in the store last night along with the pima & swiftly tank in potion. I did order the potion free 2be this morning. I think I am now done with that color.

@anon 9:02 - I wear a 6 but I size up to an 8 in the swiftly tee. The 6 is just too snug and not comfortable.

I also bought a white Free 2be and the Lulu Pant II in the sports grey, I love these pants. I think they are bit too much in the potion.

LuluAddict said...

@ Anon - I think the Swiftly is true to size or a little roomy. I ordered my normal size. My Lagoon is looser than the silver I recently ordered. I think the material stretches a little as you wear it.

What do the rest of you think?

The Potion Free 2 Be is gorgeous.

momof5 said...

I broke down and ordered the potion Free2B--it was too pretty to pass up - -it will make a nice fall transition piece too, i think --

Any idea what the new colors will be?

LuluAddict said...

@ Anon - I see conflicting comments on here and facebook on the sizing of the Swiftlys. Is it possible for you to order two, one in each size you are considering, and then return the one you don't like? You can return to a store if you live near one. Otherwise, you do have to pay return shipping. I know a lot of people order two sizes because sometimes sizes run out by the time you are ready to exchange for the other size/color/etc.

ChiRunner said...

@Anon - I'm a 4 in Lulu tops and I size up to a 6 in the swiftly short sleeve and tank because I feel like otherwise its a bit too snug in the tummy area (which I'm not a fan of because tops that are snug through the tummy tend to ride up when I'm running). I stick with a 4 in the long sleeve versions though.

Also, like LuluAddict, I found that the silver with potion accents swiftly seemed to run a tad smaller than all my other swiftlys.

Becky said...

Well, I called "Katie" from GEC. She has record of my order, despite the error page I received. I also had a confirmation email from paypal stating that lulu has my transaction, but no confirmation from lulu about the order. Katie said she will resend the email to me....

I ordered the potion purple Modern Racer Back tank, hope I like it. Also, I hope that I do actually receive it, I have never gotten an error message from ordering online lulu before... I'm kinda nervous my order will never show up.

ojodeazul said...

Thanks for the modern racer sizing, I sized down to a 4 and I am happy I did.

As for the swiftly, in the SS I am TTS a 6, in the racer back I actually size down to a 4 becasue then it fits better overall, it does ride up a little at the begining of my run (annoying) but then once I start to sweat it is perfect.

momof5 said...

@becky --i have gotten that error message -- if you go on the track order and plug in the order number from your paypal transaction confirmation email --you should be able to view the status -- it will say in progress -- Good luck

Regarding the swiftlys: I am normally a 4 in tanks but I own 2 size 6 swiftly tees and I like them a little looser than my tanks. I like them bigger because I wear them when I want to be in something not so body conscious. I think they fit well in the bigger size, not unflattering. Luon is not comfy/as flattering when baggy but the swiftlys are so light, I like them a little baggier.

I didn't like the swiftly tanks because of the fir - too loose, big armholes on top and tight across stomach pooch.

Becky said...

Thank you, momof5. I am guessing that even when you have received that message, your order still arrived? I am very excited to receive this modern racerback tank. I am not tiny like the rest of you, and want a tank that will flow nicely over the tummy (post baby belly), and I am also hoping the darkness of the Potion Purple will also aid in hiding my flaws :)

momof5 said...

@becky -- yes i have received it as long as it pulls up on the track order page --- you will love the modern racer -- it is one of my faves and very flattering IMO!!!

I was excited when I saw two new colors for the Pep Tank (Potion & Savage green). But I've been thinking about the angel blue one I received, and I'm really not super happy with how it fits. I got it in a 6, my usual size, and it's a little long in the straps. Like annoying-falling-off-my-shoulders-long, not just showing a little of my sports bra. I tried on the 4 in store the other day, and it was just a little too fitted in the stomach area, not very flattering. This tank would be great for taller gals, I'm only 5'2". However, with 32D bra size, I like my non-racer back sports bras for support. Too bad it didn't work out! I'd jump on that savage green to go with the new run shorts they put up today too.

just received flow y bra in lime stripe today. love it!

went to my local lulu during lunch and picked up swiftly racerback in angel blue. AND oredered savage green online as well. i'm so bad but couldn't help it.

ojodeazul said...

@ mollywaffles - I am 5'3 and 32DD. I had a bit of the same problem with the pep tank, but I found that once you actually started working out the straps did not fall down anymore. When I wear it casually it does, but once I start to work out the straps are fine. I am a 6 in everything too, and bought the size 6 in this. I can wear the ta ta tamer under it or my enell bras when I run (though the enells show a little)

pilatesmom said...

Not a super exciting upload today but I did get the swiftly ss in savage and potion and the zoom tank in potion stripe (I really love my zoom tank in savage stripe and I've since picked up a potion flow y bra and two shorts with potion in them so this tank will come in handy pulling those together) and - thanks for mentioning it chirunner because I didn't see it earlier - the potion free2B. Now I have the free2b in white, angel, passion and potion. Can you tell I like this jacket? But I'm that way - if I really like something I'll get it in several/all colors!

LuluAddict said...

@molywaffles & ojodeazul - My fit experience of the the Pep tank agrees with yours - the straps were loose in the shoulders and tended to slip down. I wrote this off to having narrow shoulders, though. I think it's a cute tank but I prefer the Zoom Singlet and Energy sleeveless better. However, if one pops up on sale for $20 or so I would probably get it.

There is something not right about the color of the angel blue swiftly tech SS. I wanted to buy it but thankfully I saw it in a store first and avoided FedEx disappointment. The potion swiftly tech, however, is really nice. Not too much to get excited about this week...credit card safely stowed in wallet.

Ordered a pair of lulu crops...sport gray with angel blue. Love these...this is number 4...

Went to my store to take a peek at the sidewalk sale and all the same stuff on sale that Luluaddict saw at her store but not as good price drops.

Though I did pay full price for a potion classy classic bag...which I did not need. But I was growing weary of my black velocity bag which I think is going to last me a lifetime. Really wished I had bought a I Am Great bag last year. Looks like the perfect size...oh well, I am happy with my new purple bag.

Anonymous said...

I too had to get the potion purple F2B. I got it in my usual size 8 which I wear in all lulu jackets except the mynah. I hear it runs a little big, so hope it fits.

Anonymous said...

@ anon.. Why do you say there is something not right with the angel blue swiftly SS tee?? Mine is coming tomorrow ( UPS..)so I didnt get to see it in person. What didn't you like about it?
To chime in about the sizing of it..I found it TTS. I wear an 8 in all tops ( 6 in CRb ) and I found the 8 in the run swiftly a great fit. I have a passion and angel coming tomorrow, I'm hoping I like the colors in "real life"

Luvlulu said...

Just got off the phone with the GEC and got the last black baseball cap. I had been calling for several days and they didn't have any. I find it hard to believe today one showed up. I really wanted white or potion but since it's my first hat black will go with everything. I can't wait for it to arrive. I think I placed 4 separate orders today, plus what I bought in the store last night. When does it end?

Pattybea said...

Off topic...but on the Lululemon FB page I a chiming in on an interesting discussion regarding the CRB. A gal had hers hemmed and says that the front is longer than the back. I chimed in saying I just took mine in to be hemmed because I didn't like how they are 1 inch longer in the front. I was told they would be hemmed straight, losing the curve that showed up this year for some reason. Perhaps her hemmer kept the curve...

Anyway, LL is responding that they aren't longer in the front. They look like they are when hanging on the hangar but they aren't. Hmmm...then why are mine longer in the front. Is it possible that those who are more endowed than me perhaps don't notice this difference when wearing it or am I crazy?? My inner strength tank is the same way.

I thought the Angel Blue Swiftly looked ok. The color is slightly different that a luxtreme or luon angel blue - like it has a slightly distressed look to it - the swiftly material seems to mute the colors. I thought it was a pretty, though. I wish I had got a bold blue swiftly tee when they were out, it looks like denim.

Anonymous said...

@anon 4:40 p.m. - the angel swiftly material looks a different color than the other angel stuff. Someone on FB mentioned it is close to lagoon, and I think they're right. It has a more aqua tone. It's still pretty, but I would want it to match my other angel items (shorts, head band, all sport etc).

@lulu addict - the bold blue swiftly techs are so pretty. I have this in a tank, a SS, and a LS! Couldn't get enough of it in the swiftly tech fabric.

That tank is one of my favorites. I am so happy I purchased it. I enjoyed reading the article too, thanks.

momof5- I just bought one of those on ebay! I was ecstatic to find a size 4 on there as the lulu website has no size 4's listed in hardly anything. It was $43 including shipping, so I'm excited to get it. I already have a black (manifesto)/white scoopneck and wear it all the time, even when not working out :)

pilatesmom said...

I love the scoopneck tank in general and have to agree that the passion with wee coal neck is particularly good looking : )

@Luluaddict
I liked the Pep, but didn't love the fit for $52. Maybe if I had given it a shot like ojodeazul did, it could have worked out (but then I couldn't have returned it if I still wasn't happy...) I may have to give up on the Moving Comfort Fiona bra for summer runs.

In way-supportive-bras-from-Moving Comfort-news, I just got a new style, Juno - which is awesome. Pullover racerback style, but with hooks at the bottom (so it's a little easier to pull on/pull off). I loved it when I tried it on, and loved it more when I ran in it. Adjustable straps at the front like some of their others, and, it has cups so I'm not squished flat like a pancake. Think I'm going to order a second. While not invisible, it works well under my Zoom singlet and other racer back tanks for a full coverage sports bra.
