I am kind of liking the etched butterfly. I think it would look great on a tank. Hint. Hint.
Etched Rose Detail
See how pretty these were? I don't recall many of these on the markdown rack. If you ever venture into prints again, why not make the negative-type print with a black background and gray print? I'd love that.

It is bedazzled old stock...simple as that. More profitable than putting them on sale, I suppose. They are getting rid of the Remix, so let them whip-up some "quicky" graphics out and call it "Artist's Series". Rather mundane and ill thought-out for Lulu, really.
I think its actually a clever move by lulu, but I really don't like them. A bit tacky and ed hardy-esque, as someone said on the fb page, tbh..
I hope those prints come out in a tank or pima tees. I would be all over them. Its too warm for a Remix from where I am from.
They're getting rid of Remix hoodies for good? I wanted to put it on my Christmas list! However, I don't like the graphics. I agree with Anon 3:41 (is that how you write it??), very Ed Hardy-esque and tacky on a hoodie. I do like the white tank with an etching-like design however.
With the introduction of the scuba, I'm not buying a single other remix so no interest here. In fact, I'm going to sell all but a few of my coveted print remixes on ebay to get funds for new scubas : )
@ Pilatesmom:
I'm with you...I only have two print Remixes left (out of about 10-8 of which I SOLD). Bring on the cute Scubas!
Personally, I am a huge fan of the Remix, I really hope they don't discontinue it. I have yet to try on a Scuba, but even if I do like it, I can't see anything replacing my coveted Remix Hoodies.
I think the tone on tone graphics on these new remixes are quite nice, actually. Can't say they are super original, but I don't see any Ed Hardy (wild color- tattoo inspired-tigers! skulls!) in that AT ALL. Guess it's just me...
I will be having a good look at these when they come online. Fall is approaching and it seems like a natural step to put designs on fall jackets to me...Given the huge success of the pencil sketch WWA's why wouldn't lulu do new remixes? Anyway, I'm not sure I'd buy one as I don't do prints, generally, and also I prefer the fit of the new scuba. Maybe we will see some other print surprises in today's upload to go with the hoodies.
Now that I've seen the photos on the web page, the hoodies aren't as special as I thought they would be. I do like the prints, though, and think they would look nice on tee shirts. I don't get an Ed Hardy vibe, like someone said no skulls, but it does seem like we've been seeing prints like this for at least 5-10 years now.
and these 'Art Hoodies' are definitely the old remixes with the carpet lulu instead of the new embroidered ones...I still had to jump on the black butterfly though! I'm not a fan of the contrasting logo so I'm going to take a sharpie to mine to mellow it out. Yes, a sharpie. it works! ;)
I think having the word "love" on clothing is soo tacky! If I didn't know any better (or the lulu logo wasn't there), I'd mistaken this for a 13 yr old's hoodie. All that it's missing is some rhinestones and animated girls with big heads on the front.
I got the Love Embroidered one. After a lot of waffling, I didn't like the rose print on black. On the site, the middle of the rose print looked like a smiley face and I couldn't get beyond that. And I didn't want a gray hoodie, so I got the Love one.
@Anonymous I don't think it's tacky at all! It's small and on the bottom. I think it's both cute AND classy!
I was thinking of buying one of the Art hoodies, but I opted for the pencil sketch coal/black scuba instead. I do like Lulu prints, it has been awhile since we've had a nice floral print. I own the white power Y with the black flowers on it and every time I wear it, I get tons of compliments at the gym.
Can someone tell me what the difference in warmth between the Scuba and the Remix hoodie? I love the look of the Scuba, but from what I've seen the Remix is super thick.
I just think with such an amazing design team that the company could come up with a much more unusual and beautiful collection than some dull screen prints on black/grey. I was really disappointed. No Lulu of old at all...boring :(
