New Pant - Yoga Harem Pant (Ugh) and Pics of Other New Items

Lululemon has come out with another harem-style pant - the Yoga Harem pant. They probably put these into production before the market decided they didn't want them. I'm not a huge fan of the dropped crotch but I did like the previous harem-style pant - the Here I Am Crop which had pleated pockets but no dropped crotch and are very comfortable. I have three pairs of them. I think these newest pants are destined for the markdown rack.

A good photo showing the inside of the Awareness tank and that the interior tank is full length. I'm not sure what market this double-layered tank is made for - chilly yoga studios? I wouldn't mind if they sold something like the outer portion by itself that I could wear over my own sports bra.

Gray Awareness Tank has a black inner layer

Modern Crew Neck Tee Print

Effortless Hoodie - Anyone get theirs yet and want to share their impressions?

What does everyone think of the print on the crew tees? Can't make out what it is. I do want to buy it but I feel the two rounded curves at the top of the print zooms attention to the boobs area. Oh well, that's just me. It may look better in person.

As for the awareness tank, if they were to sell just the inner portion on its own with the mesh and keep the strap design, I think there would be a market for that too. The totally ruin this by layering on the outer portion.

That is the best pic of an Effortless that I've seen yet.

What tee is the woman wearing with the harem pants? Is that a new blue Pima or something?? I like!!!

I really don't like the Yoga pant at all! The awareness thank looks interesting, definitely one I would need to try on as I think it could make me look bigger than I am actually am.

Thanks so much for your blog, I just love it and it helps with my lulu addiction!

Cheers!

@Mel: I was totally thinking the same thing about the pattern on the tee! It's a not-too-subtle boob outline. That's the last thing I need

@ Mel... that is the first thing I thought when I saw that tee. It totally pulls your eye to the boob area.

I second 'Canadian eh' - what is that lovely blue top?

I really think those prints are designed by a man. Which women would design a print that accentuates the boobs. What a waste, I would have gotten that. I think that blue top is the 5Yr Pima Tee in Royal Blue which was released last year. Am not sure if they released it again. Also, they released the Start Up Pants again.

Those harem pants are awful!! Looks like she is wearing a giant diaper!!
Effortless looks raggedy.
Awareness is wierd - not flattering for many....

Hmmm, hope we see the inspire top this week...

I have been wearing my new black Effortless all weekend. Nice length (I am tall, 5'9" and 135lbs) and the only complaint I have is that yet again, the cuffins hurt my hands because my monkey arms are too long. No biggie, happens with all long sleeves for me. The hood is nice if a little big and the fit is good, I bought my regular size (6) after returning a 4, the hoodie looks big but you need to stick to regular size for the arms and length. It's not too big that I can't layer it under my leather bombers. And it cover my bum a little bit so great for tights. Overall, a really great basic hoodie that is warmer than their normal french terry (it's fuzzy on the inside) and cuter than a basic American Apparell hoodie.

harem pants...blech! arm/leg warmers...lol! wow, lll is pushing the fashion envelope here. recycling styles from 20 years ago shows some sense of originality, right? sorry, not interested.
OT: there are 8 things left on loot. i'm wondering, with the labor day holiday weekend coming up in the US, if they'll post a boatload of items on Loot like they did 4th of July weekend?

@anon 7:20 a.m. - I found the sleeves short on the Effortless hoodie. I would have to size up just to make the thumb holes sit over my thumbs comfortably. I don't intend to keep this hoodie - if it hits loot for a big discount I'll snap it up. I have to believe lulu has something comfy, warm and better coming down the pipe soon.

I received my Effortless Hoodie yesterday and LOVE IT! It's so warm and cozy. The arms were cut a bit tighter, but wasn't uncomfortable in any way. I got it in the lolo purple, which is beautiful!

I received my Effortless Hoodie in Lolo today -- and I gotta say -- i love it -- it is so soft -- way softer than the french terry free 2 b -- this is a more brushed french terry -- like a broken in sweatshirt -- The color is GORGEOUS in person also - and I love the distressed edges --It fits me similar to the model in the 6 -- so it would be TTS -- the arms do not feel tight to me -- it is just very comfy

My only complaint would be the logo -- i would prefer the sewn on logo -- but that is a tiny complaint -- overall -- I would definitely scoop up another one in say heathered senorita (HINT HINT: LULU!)

Side note -- I also received my lolo/power grooves -- love love love bytheway -- but did anyone notice the new grooves feel a little thicker than the older ones -these feel a little more substantial , more like the original ones-

I don't like the dropped crotch either...

So glad some of you like the Effortless Hoodie. I tried it on yesterday thinking, eh, maybe I didn't like it as much as I though and I'll take back but I do like it and will keep it.

The thumbholes cut into my thumb in my Wear With All but I think that's because they are oddly placed. I didn't really try them on the Effortless. The only place I use the thumb holes regularly is on my Energy Pullover. The running luon material is thinner and softer than the french terry hoodie so it doesn't bother me.

It would be nice to have a big Loot upload this weekend but I'm not hopeful. Isn't mid-summer the typical time for big clothing sales? Isn't that when Nordstrom has their half-yearly sale? I check Loot obsessively, though. You can never tell when some $25 gym bag or $3 underwear will pop up.

Good to know about Groove pants feeling thicker. I know when I tried on the version with the green plaid that looked like a Scotch tape box last year, they felt noticeably thinner. I haven't bought Grooves in awhile. I work out mostly in crops.
