Audrey Jacket a Hit

How funny, the Audry Jacket is already sold out on the Canadian side of the website but all the sizes are still in stock on the US side. The US side is catching up with the Canadian -several sizes of the Coal version are sold out. I think it's a cute jacket but I could get something similar for less money elsewhere.

The Peace of Mind vest already sold out on the Canadian side and a couple of sizes are sold out in the Citron on the US side. I think it's harder to find a cute down vest although I have seen some very cute North Face ones around. The North Face has been making a lot more stylish stuff since they got bought out by VF.

What is VF?

I think it gets colder in Canada sooner, correct? That might explain the quick sellout since perhaps they are thinking cold weather already. Also, I think in general lulu items sell out quicker on the CA site than US site.

Just got product notification for the inspire pullover in lolo from the san diego showroom--this means the GEC should be able to sell these now because once they hit a store, they can sell them via the phone :)

I tried on the Tadasna pants today and didin't like the fit. They were too high of a rise and too tight in the legs. I put the sage twist pants on right after and those were so much more comfortable. I don't like the twist in the front and the educator showed me how to move the twist to the back for a different look. I plan to stick to grooves but these were comfortable.

@pilatesmom. It was 40oC/104F in Toronto the last few days... some **parts** are colder now, but not southern Ontario.

VF Outdoor, Inc.(Canada) owns THE NORTH FACE, VANS, JANSPORT, REEF, EASTPAK, EAGLE CREEK, LUCY and a few more.

@ Pilatesmom - I think Canadians like a lot more of the streetwear stuff from Lululemon than the US currently does. I know hoodies are much bigger sellers there than here. I'm sure part of the reason is that the brand is relatively new to the US and we see it primarily as an exercise brand.

@luvlulu - Do the Sage Twist fit similar to the Grooves? They kind of look similar through the leg.

It is definitely starting to get cooler in parts of Canada. I'm in the Vancouver area of BC and the warmest it's been lately is 22 in the sun and about 13 when it's raining. I've already started to wear my fireside hoody and journey jacket, and I've brought my boots out of storage. Horray for the leaves changing and cool fall runs!

@luluaddict: the sage twist pants do have a similar fit through the thigh and with the flare as the groove pants.

I'm not even thinking about Fall items here in Nova Scotia.. Yesterday was 30 degrees with the Humidity of 38. Today it's hovering close to the 30's again!!
CRB's and Groovy run shorts for me lately!
Of course we're going to get hit by Hurrican Earl tomorrow/sunday..maybe that will cool things down?
Dying for the Inspire pullover.weird to see it hit US first?

It's cold here! I am just weighing in because we (in Edmonton) deal with snow and sleet and ice and rain for a big part of our year. Sadly. Also I think that lulu here is somewhat esteemed and a bit of a "have to have" brand. It's rare that Cdn brands go international (or businesses in general) so I think we're quite proud of lulu, there is def a cult-ish following here and so yes, we wear lulu as street wear all the time, specially in these cold parts. :-)
