Today's Upload - Rather Small

A bit of a weird upload today. There were no new tanks. The Inspire jacket showed up but not in size 6 or 12 in Senorita Pink on the US Side. It could be a web error. There is no way it sold out that quick. I was on line within seconds when it showed up and those sizes were grayed out from the first moment.

The Boobs on a Wire didn't make an appearance but the The Bust Stops Here did on the Canadian side. The photo on the web makes the bra look very unattractive - almost like a minimizer bra. Ugh. It also looks like the new bra sizes only go up to a 38D which isn't that big in the world of large chests.

The Alignment Pants look nice but I am going to wait to try them at the store.

The Lolo Swiftly Long Sleeve also made an appearance. I know they are in the stores in Senorita Pink and Dark Classic Sport Gray.

I'm planning on visiting the stores tomorrow so I will give you my fit report on the new things then.

the black size 4 inspire jacket was grayed out too. i had plans to buy it but ended up buying lolo instead. i also got a lolo ls swiftly!

i agree though...kind of a weird upload...a mishmash of leftovers that didn't fit with their color-oriented uploads from the last few weeks!

I'm hoping it means there will be a bigger upload next week. They might even quietly upload things in the next few days. We've seen that before.

I was planning on getting the black Run: Inspire Jacket too, but was bummed to see the size 4 wasn't available right out of the gate. It's frustrating when they do that. I almost bought the Lolo, but I think I'm going to hold out for the black because I think I'll get more use out of it in a neutral.

I also like the look of the Alignment Pants, but I'd rather get them in black too if it comes available.

I wonder how the fit of the alignment pant is compared to the still pants.

I'm incredibly mad at lulu about the bra sizing. A very high support bra should come in bigger sizes. I know lulu doesn't want to get into big sizes (more than 12), but people who wear smaller clothing sizes can need larger cup sizes. I'm fine with the band stopping at 38, but they should at least do up to F in all band sizes. This is ridiculous to make two new bras and not go past 38D.

Agreed, weird small upload. Can't comment on the bra as I live in "the land of the A cup".

Hi all,
I just wanted to briefly chime in here and let you know that our newest bras, The Bust Stops Here and Boobs on a Wire, do come in DD cup sizes, but have not reached online yet. We always look for feedback, especially for recently released product, so keep it coming!

Cheers,

Hi Laura,
I think the real issue is that the limit is DD. If there is a reason lulu doesn't make larger sizes than that (F, G) you guys should let people know so we stop hoping. It just seems strange to make a maximum support bra and not offer bigger sizes.

Tried on the alignment pant today & I didn't care for it. The pockets are really long in the front, different than the still or relaxed. The fit was ok in the same size as my groove or relaxed, a 6, but the pockets just stand out there on the fabric, I think the pockets look too big.
Bought the inspire jacket in the pink!! It is beautiful!!Tried it on today....very cute!! It is snugger through the chest area because of the asymmetrical zipper....I bought it in an 8, I usually wear a 6 or 8 in lulu jackets....bought the pink, super cute, the cuffs are super soft....longer than the community jacket.
Also bought the personal best tee in lolo, super super cute on!!!Has the grey accent at the bottom.
Bought the inspire crop, which is ankle length on me, very cute on, feels a bit thicker than the wunder under, but it will serve a purpose in my lulu attire..

oops, meant the insight crop not inspire, the one with the zippers in the front & at the ankle...
Also, tried on the bust stops here, didn't care for it...looking forward to boobs on a wire...

anon 1.38 do they alignment pants have a drawstring in the hem. do you see any need to have to size down? do you think they would bag out or the waist would stretch out?...
thanks!

No on the drawstring that I saw, yes on the hemming, & no need to size down, I tried on the same as groove, 6, & they fit my curves....didn't see like they would bag out, but I only had them on for a few min at the store.

I tried the Alignment pant on today. I didn't like the rise. They were too high and just not comfortable in the waist. There is a drawstring at the bottom of these so you can cinch them up.

I tried on the Inspire Jacket and it was so snug in the shoulders, which made it very uncomfortable. I am a 6 in most jackets (sometimes a 4) and a 6 fit good everywhere else but in the shoulders. Sizing up just made the jacket too big and baggy. I thought it was very cute and would have purchased it if the shoulders weren't too narrow. The educators said that is what everyone has been saying who tries it on. Maybe this one needs to be redesigned.

Whoa?! Since when has lululemon been commenting on your blog?! That's crazy. Good insight for them though!

The 'Boobs on a Wire' bra was at Market Mall today. I didn't try it on, but I do like the look of it. I'm going back Sunday to return something, so I'll try it on then and see what I think!

I'm not a fan of the new Inspire Jacket... I dont know what it is, but I just don't like how it looks at all. Maybe it's one of those ones you have to try on to get a good idea...

The Inspire doesn't look nearly as cute on the web photo as it did on the girl I posted wearing it. That is why I want to try it on myself. I have been reading comments on FB about tight shoulders. It shouldn't be an issue with me since I have narrow shoulders but lots of athletic women have larger shoulder from swimming, weight lifting, or other sports - you'd think Lululemon would have tested this out. Most of the Ambassadors I've seen are pretty buff, I don't know why all these design flaws aren't picked up before production. Look at the too narrow arms of the Effortless Hoodie. It's weird.

I tried on the Inspire Jacket at my store today. It was TTS but I could see how people with wide shoulders may say it is tight. I actually thought about sizing down, but the shoulders would have been way too tight...
