Pic - Wish Blue Power Dance Tank on Darker Skin Tone

When you don't live near a Lululemon store, it's hard to judge how various colors will look on you. I think Wish Blue is a tricky color when it comes to deciding whether it works for you. I like it on the hanger and in photos but when I try it on, I never like it nearly as much on me. Anyway, I know it's helpful to see photos of other people when it comes to deciding whether to order something for yourself.

I went back to the store today and exchanged my static plum Power Y for the Space Dye Lilac Power Dance Tank. Even though I didn't go the gym today, I couldn't wait to rip the tags off my Coal Power Dance Tank and wear it (I know, it's so lame to wear technical wear for farting around the house but I really wanted to wear it) and once I did it was so comfortable (love the empty feeling around my belly) I went back for another one. I had such a hard time deciding between the black and the lilac. Even though the lilac seems more of a spring color, I really felt that it gave me more of a boost in attitude than the plain black. I tried on the Wish Blue again several times but I like pattern in the top rather than a solid color.

I bought the wish blue one yesterday and LOVE it. I think I am going to wear it to boxing tonight. I really wanted the lilac because of the space dye (I dont own any space dye)but the color washed me out a bit. The educators liked it on me but as soon as I tried the Wish it was clear that was a better color. I think the lilac would be amazing on someone with darker skin or more tanned skin tone.

I can't imagine this tank wouldn't be flattering on most body types and I also can't see giving up the feeling of it just to have a defined waist. But that's just me. I'm not particularly big busted but prefer to have it all under wraps because most of my work outs involve at least some moderate impact activities.

This tank is a win for me!

You all are making me re-think this tank. Upon first glance, I thought, yuck, another tank that reminds me of maternity clothes. I'll look pregnant for sure. But maybe I will try it on and give it a chance.

I bought the power dance in the grey spacedye/coal with a matching 50 rep bra and I am in love again!!! So pretty and comfy!

I hope to try this one in the store tomorrow! Not sure if Tysons has it in yet. lol I don't think it's lame to wear lulu for hanging around the house--it's 80% of my daily wardrobe now ;-) Plus wearing it gives me more incentive to walk the dog for 4 miles or do a quick run--the "I'm already in workout gear so why not?"

What pants are the first model wearing? The seams up the back of her legs seem flattering (or she's in good shape) or a combo of both.

Have we seen many pictures of this tank from a side view?

My store notification email boasts all of 3 new things this week: Tadasana tank, align ultra mat, premium technithong. (crickets). But the banner in the email features pictures of the power dance, centered pose, and tadasana tanks on educators.

I know I'm in the minority, but I do not like this top. I really love the photos of it, but when I went to the store today, I was really disappointed. The bottom sheer luon reminds me of the cheap polyester that they make kids halloween costumes out of. It's shiny in a really weird way. I spoke with an educator and she said she wouldn't wear it for anything but yoga because it picks up a lot of lint and would be ruined by velcro and zippers. I'm sorry, but I wear my lulu for everything. I can't afford a top with so few uses. Let me finish by saying that the top portion fit beautifully and I'm a B cup. I just wish I could change the bottom half.

I bought the power dance in the Coal Space Dye and LOVE it - but I do have reservations about the bottom half snagging or looking pilly after a while. I've not owned anything with sheer luon before so I'm wondering how it wears - does anyone have any insight?

Thanks for the info about sheer luon regarding velcro and zippers. I figured it was a pretty delicate fabric and will treat it like I do my silverescent and swiftly fabric - into the mesh bag and turned inside out when laundering. I plan to use it in spin class where I am just sitting or standing on a bike so it should be pretty safe.

@ Running - aren't those Groove pants?

This absolutely nothing wrong with wearing technical wear for farting around the house...I do it all the time...they're my clothes that I bought with my money and if it makes me feel good....I wear it!

Hmm, interesting about the sheer part. I tried it on today and think I'm gonna go back and get it tomorrow. Funnily enough I *am* pregnant, altho not showing yet, so was thinking this would be perfect for me. However I'm not shelling out just to wear as maternity wear, so I am hesitant on the size. I remember last time my boobs got huge at the end, so my TTS might fit my belly thanks to the loose bottom half but not the babyboobies :) Oh well. Couldn't decide between sizes OR colours today (agreed on all colour points already mentioned). I did notice on one of the tanks that the bottom hem already looked a bit pilly and worried it might be a problem. But I figured they've used this fabric on a bunch of tanks before and no ones mentioned it. I TOTALLY wear my lulu "farting around the house" so I don't want to have to baby a pricey functional top! Oh and Sarah I hope they were up in Tysons when you went in, that's where i tried them on today!!
