Whisper / Black Woven Scuba

When did this get uploaded to the website? It's still in all sizes in the US so it must be fairly recently. It's so cute!

I think they are sneaking things in on us. I checked the Scubas just to see if their were any more plum ones. They had size 2 and 8 listed, I bought the 8, and then it was listed as out of stock after I checked out. Must have gotten the last one!

Luluelmon does put returns back on the site daily around 1-2 pm pacific time so you might have gotten a return.

I like this woven pattern because it almost looks like tweed...

I posted this on another topic, but it suits this one more. Did you see the Scuba hoodie on the Cdn lulu site advertising a portapotie woven colour with black? It is like a kelly green...but a portapotie is a jimmy john, johnny on the spot, outhouse...who wants a hoodie named after that?!?!

OT-- lots of lulu on tv last night -- dancing with the stars -- did anyone catch audrina in the space dye WU -- and also on The Good Wife --the masseuse in a static grey senorita pink scoopneck

I LOVE my senorita pink and black weave scuba. It looks more like purple. This reminds me of mine but I prefer mine :-)

I agree with the Portapotty colour name - the first time I saw that I was shocked! Why would they name a colour after a portable toilet??? Very weird, and off-putting. I'm not buying it!!
Although, I think I'm buying everything else Lulu... :)

Just got product notification for a lilac scuba. And--drumroll please, the dash LS will be coming in PLUM!!

The off-putting names go with Lulu's marketing facade of being "cheeky". They also have a red called "scab".

I love this Scuba, ordered it on the spot! I tried the senorita pink woven but sent it back-looked too skateboard chic. This one looks PERFECT and will "go" with a lot!

How does everyone find the fitting of the Scubas? I reds the reviews, but it seems all over the place with sizing. If I normally wear a 6 in most Lulu jackets, except for the Strides (I find that I have to size down), how do these fit especially because of those side panels that reviewers say stretch a lot? I want to buy the one Luluaddict posted here so badly!

i am normally a 6 in tops and wear an 8 in the scuba and other hoodies. I like my sweatshirts a little looser though.

@Anon 8:39 - I would suggest sticking with the size 6 in the Scuba. I'm generally a 4 in all Lulu tops and jackets, but I also size down for the Stride - and I found my usual 4 fit perfectly in the Scuba.

i just received my Teal Zeal Cuddle Up Jkt! (this is how long it takes to get to NJ.) SO PRETTY.

I realized zipper pull has a thick plastic cover, so it won't scratch the jacket itself during the delivery. It's kinda crazy.
Hope they will change the zipper near future.

ACK Luna I am also in Jersey and havent received mine yet -- BUMMER!!

I am a 6 in all tops - (except Pimas -- I size down ) and find the 6 scuba fits perfectly -- Hope this helps!

I also live in NJ. I ordered a Cuddle Up over the weekend. It's supposed to arrive on Friday.

Re: sizing, I take a 6 in most of the tops/Define. I took a 6 in the Scuba. It is a bit form fitting and tight but I like the fit.

HMMM -- just got my Cuddle Up in teal -- and I'm not ripping the tags off -- not sure -- i love the fit -- but the collar is thick -- real thick -- I love that the teal has lilac and grey accents (I was wearing my lilac space dye and it looked really pretty together) but just not totally sold on the collar --

The fit is exactly the same as the scuba for those wondering -- it is very cuddly -- just not sure if I love the collar --

Whats anyone else think that has theirs?

I live in NH and it sometimes take a week and a half to get products i order online! Imagine that wait haha

Luna - I really love my Cuddle Up (grey), but NOT loving the zipper. The teeth are so sharp when the jacket is unzipped...I would hate to snag something on them :(

momof5 - I wasn't sure about the collar at first either, and I also found that the sleeves have a lot of extra material and seem baggy (this is good for layering purposes I suppose). But then I wore it for a couple of hours and fell in LOVE. Also, when my boyfriend saw the jacket on me for the first time he said "I like your sweatshirt, is that new? You look very warm and cuddly." and I said (super excitedly) "It's called the CUDDLE UP jacket!!!"
Anyway, I live in a mountain town with very cold winters, and I think the excessively HUUUGE collar will definitely come in handy...I would imagine the NJ winters can get pretty cold, too! You should keep it...especially since you were lucky enough to snatch up a teal one :) I'm jealous!

Anon @12:52, I just received the jkt in the office, so I haven't officially worn it yet. (tried on very quickly during lunch break. haha) But I already emailed GEC about the zipper.

I can live with a color named Portapottie but I was so NOT thrilled with the name of the Boobs on a Wire bra. BTW - where is that bra anyway? It has not made it to the US yet. Maybe the FDA doesn't like the name. ;-)

I think I am going to have to get the plum Dash LS. I L-O-V-E plum! It looks like the new Happy Heat tank only goes up to a 10 which won't work for the girls so there is an extra $60 or so to towards a plum Dash LS - it's all good. Has anyone called the US GEC to see if they have it? I hate to buy it from the GEC since it takes like a week to arrive and if I order off the website I get it the next day.

The woven scubas are old. They were in canadian stores in august.

I'm sending my Cuddle-Up back. I don't care for the zipper and I am afraid that the "integrity" of the folds won't be preserved after I wash it.I also don't care for the fact that it has velvet zipper taping which picks-up lint and looks "used" after laundering. I surely don't think that it is worth $10 more than the Scuba.

The US never got the portapottie or whisper in August...don't know,if it was a "stuck in Customs" thing or not. I'm just glad that they are here now :-).

Gotta get the Dash LS in plum-I will overlook the dork factor with the ruffles due to the succulent plum color!

Good to know about the Cuddle Up. I was thinking about it but I do really like the Scuba so I don't know if I will branch out to the Cuddle.

I agree about the plum Dash LS - I will live with the ruffles showing under my jacket for the gorgeous color.

I was a 6 in the remix hoodie, a 4 in the scuba hoodies, and a six in every other top. Except the Swiftly LS, I got an 8 in that.
