Nothing so far, but the SE Scuba with the cuffs is calling me...

i have done so much damage over the past couple weeks so i am laying low, especially with xmas bills yet to be paid. but lots of cute stuff i would love to try.

I got the Yogi Dance Crop in the Black Roses/Coal. They look a little shorter than the Run crops, so I hope they are cute. (I'm really short - so almost all crops are practically full length on me)
I really want that Inner Awareness tank too! Maybe next week...
I also really like the Alpine pullover in white - but I'm just not sure about it for that price.
The Madison, WI showroom is opening on Friday - and I'm planning on being there - so I have to save a little dough for that too!

Yesterday I picked up the white and power purple alpines in the store and today I ordered the coal post run pullover. I can't wait to get it. I would have preferred black and a very violet but since I missed these last time, I'll take coal. The Lulu II pants showed up today too but only in black and I already have 2 pair of that color. The picture is heathered charcoal so I hope they add those soon. They now come with the drawstring at the bottom. I may order the plum shale hustle jacket I can't decide. I don't really need it but it's cute. I'm hoping the CRB in black roses and Inner Awareness tank show up this week in my store.

@ chelsea - I hear you about spending too much on Lululemon lately. I'm not sure if I will keep the wish Scuba but I want to try it on and it's not in my local stores. I'm thinking it's one of those prints that will sell out quickly.

I got the black roses inspire crop. I hope they work as I haven't tried them on yet in store. I love pairing lulu's black and white prints on the pants with my colorful tanks. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that these work. :)

LuluAddict said...

I thought the Inspire crops were very comfortable and liked them a lot. They were just a bit longer than I like.

I was hoping the Fast Forward jacket would be uploaded. Does anyone know if these have hit the US stores yet?

ordered post run pullover :)
can't wait!

IMHO, the alpine pullover is NOT worth that price. It's not very warm.

I was hoping the fast forward would be uploaded but knew it was a long shot as it is only in canada and just came out a few days ago. Hopefully next week. I was very glad to see the se cuff scuba and ordered that. Also, the ruffle define (this may go back unless I fall in love when it arrives), the coal post run pullover (I still have the black with the tags on as I was hoping coal would become available), and finally the heathered ash post run pullover. I hope the heathered ash post run is significantly lighter than the coal post run which I already have (while I love purples I just don't dig this top in purple). When I originally ordered the coal post run I was almost certain I'd return it when it arrived BUT I LOVED the super long length of it and I've been wearing it a lot. I'm not particularly tall or long torsoed (5'7") but if you are , this top would be fantastic for you.

I got the winter quilt WU crops and the post run pullover -- was hoping some new-design-have-to-have power purple tank would pop up -- but oh well!! I have done some damage myself lately --
I like the power purple inspire crops but didnt like the stripe top -- i think they would have looked better in solid --
@Luvlulu -- i had the violet post run and sent it back -- i didn't love it in that color -- I hope the coal is more versatile -- I love the violet color but -- i think it was just too much in the pullover --- so I think you'll be happy with the coal!

@Kara -- i also agree -- the alpine is overpriced IMO

I couldn't disagree more about the alpine pullover! I have it in haze, and I have a white one on the way because I love it so much. If it was warmer, I wouldn't be able to wear it running in winter without getting too hot. Love it!

oh daggone... I just sent an FYI on the black roses inspire crop before paying attention to the fact that they're luxtreme. I have a pair of coal luxtreme crops that I can't wear because the sweat shows through so bad on them. In black luon you can't really notice it, but what about black luxtreme? Anybody else out there an extreme sweater like I am that can advise??

jpalmac said...

**I meant an FYI email for an xmas present... whoa, totally not paying attention to things today!

I bought the yogi dance tank in the sailor stripe (black and white)color. I hope it looks as cute in person as it does online! Today was a great upload - I wanted to order a lot more but somehow restrained myself to only one item today!

Post Run Pullover sold out ALREADY!!?!?!

What is best for a pregnant women (barely showing)? I ordered the Post Run Pullover for her but it was only available in a 10, and I really think she'd need a 12. May try to trade it on the exchange page. Other than that, I ordered the coal/black rose stride for her because it zips from the bottom as well as the top. Were those good choices?

Anonymous said...

KK- I am pregnant- just 12 weeks and have the post run in a 10 (I usually wear an 8). It fits great. It will get snugger, but I want to wear it not pregnant and like these sorts of things a bit bigger. I think it is a great gift!

@jpalmac - I have a couple of pairs of black inspire crops and they don't seem to show sweat at all. I think you'll love them :)

Anonymous said...

@ jpalmac - I love black luxtreme, and find the sweat doesn't show. :) Happy Holidays!

ps. I ordered the SE Scuba with removable cuffs - so cute! And, then I ordered the plum Hustle Jacket. Hopefully my husband hasn't spent too much money on me for Christmas - because I'm spending so much on myself!

LuluAddict,I just got the MUPS scuba that i ordered on Monday ( shipping to CA takes a few days ).
I like it and it's very different looking .
I think you will like yours. Lululemon didn't have a print like this in the past ( at least for the last 3 years). My only concern is that maybe I should have ordered a size 4 and not 6.......I usually find that the 6 is a little big but the 4 is too short ( i'm 5,8). What do you think ?
Thank you!

I didn't get anything as I've frequented ebay and the exchange page the last few days for some items (groovy run shorts, run inspire crops, run energy pullover, running luon cap)...but I'd love to buy a run alpine pullover in white or power purple, another hustle jacket (already have the white; would love the plum)...and a hustle tank.

Pattybea said...

Bought the coal post run pullover and the static ash dash pullover...I didn't like the dash pullover until I saw this color.

Anonymous said...

I wanted to buy the dash pullover and post run pullover, but it took me almost an hour to get out of a meeting and near a computer. By then they were BOTH sold out in my size! Grrrrr. Even the GEC is out - why don't they ever make enough? Having to be in front of the computer for 45 minutes to ensure the upload is complete and order rightthatsecond is getting ridiculous.

Anonymous said...

Did the static ash dash pullover really sell out in 4 sizes in one morning?? Crazy!

Contessa said...

Sniffles!! I missed the Post Run Pullover again. Why does Lululemon hate me??? .Ugh!! I have been patiently waiting for one but had to volunteer today at school so I missed out again....again....again.

ChiRunner said...

@Pattybea - I felt the exact same way about the static ash Dash Pullover. I had no interest in buying that top at all until I saw it this color. Can't really explain it.

The Alpine p/o is one of my favorite Lulu items ever. I have black and haze.

I did major damage; retail therapy (for an emotional personal drama today) - in store; not online
-l/s swiftly in power purple
-hustle tank in power purple
-Dash p/o in power purple (never liked it before in the other colors)
-Alpine tights in blk/power purple (i already have the all black and love them)

yikes.
oh, and the knee high socks with the faux buttons b/c they were on sale for $14

Pattybea said...

@chirunner--Do you think it is because the stitching, zipper and reflective bits don't stand out as much on this color? To me it looks sporty and classy at the same time...

Anonymous said...

@Megan - I agree the Alpine pullover is one of my favourite items ever! I already have Haze and Persimmon, but also just bought the purple as well :)

Besides the alpine p/o, I bought the Drishti bra which was in loot

Almost bought the Outward Bound pant, but am concerned it won't look as nice hemmed as I'm petite

ojodeazul said...

Anon 5:18pm; go for the outward bound pants. I am 5'3" and had them hemmed and I love love love them! I thought I would just like them, but I took them on a 6-7 mile run this weekend and they were better than any of my other winter running pants.

Megan said...

Also, for the person that mentioned the Alpine wasn't that warm; I think it's pretty warm, but I've been layering it over a Swiftly L/S. It's just that cold here on the east coast and I have been stingy heating my house!

@Anon 5:18; If I was made of money, I would have also gotten the white today. It was amazing.

LuluAddict said...

@ anon 12:14 - If you are in CA, the MUPS Scubas are coming soon so you'll be able to exchange / try on the 4. I just got a product alert from Santa Barbara that showed they just received them. I didn't like the Remix because it was too short (I'm 5' 5") so I prefer my hoodies longer. If they are roomier, then you can layer, too. I'd keep the 6 but if you are on the fence go to the store and try them on side by side.

@ KK - The Stride is a good choice for a pregnant woman. I can't think of any other long sleeve tops that are roomy in the belly.

Help!! I will now have three Alpine pullovers (haze, persimmon and just ordered the power purple today) and I can't keep them all. Any advice on which one to send back? I am a pale (bordering on pasty in the winter) green eyed brunette.
Thanks!!

Didn't buy anything online, but at my store I picked up the Live Simply tee with the lightning design, BR crb, and Dash Tights.

Anonymous said...

I didn't get anything online, but I got the plum hustle jacket on the weekend and my yoga studio is a strategic sales partner so I picked up the sailor stripe power y tank, groove pants in the new winter 3 quilt, and a power y in wish blue. They've ordered the scoop tank in the sailor stripe/black micro stripe (not sure of the official colour code) and hopefully a stride in the sailor stripe :)

LuluAddict said...

@ Denver Mom - The Haze Alpine Pullover is super pretty. I'm a pale green-eyed brunette, too. I'd probably pick the Haze but if I needed a jolt of color to get me moving, then I'd pick the Power Purple. Power Purple really pops green eyes.

@ Anon 10:43 pm - Are you in Canada? I am jealous about the Sailor Stripe Power Y. The Stride Sailor Stripe sounds fun, too.

Anonymous said...

I also do not like the Alpine Pullover I find it to tight in the chest and too warm, I purchased a Nike Drifit one instead it is lighter in weight and alot cheaper.

The Roses Simply Tee is crap it is so thin you can see your bra underneath, and the texture feels scratchy compared to the rest of the Simply tees. The Lighting Tee is nice but runs bigger than the plain Simply Tee.

The Wish Blue Striped Scuba is really nice in person, it is one of the nicest designs in the Scuba so far.

Anonymous said...

@luluaddict - yes, I'm in Canada. The sailor stripe stride is beautiful. The logo on the front is solid black so it's subtle. It's priced at $118 but it's not brushed luon.
