OT - Camelbak Elixir

Do any of you use electrolyte drinks when you exercise? I was using the Propel powder packets to flavor my water but then I started following a low sugar diet. I saw these Camelback tablets when I was at REI. They are sugar free and you drop one tablet into a 24 oz. bottle of water. You don't even have to shake it up to get it to fully dissolve. The flavor takes a bit getting used to since it isn't very sweet tasting and a little on the salty side but I liked them a lot for spin class and I think they give me a little more energy. They are kind of pricey - $10 per tube of 12 tablets. I really like the format because the Propels can get a bit messy if you spill them and I was always afraid of a packet bursting in my gym bag. I've only tried the Lemon-Lime but they also come in Berry and Orange flavor.

Update - A reader commented that this has Splenda (sucralose) in it (it's at the end of the ingredient list - sorry) so just wanted to let you know in case you like avoid artificial sweeteners.

Upload Thursday Wishes - What Are You Hoping For?

My only hope for tomorrow is the Lolo / Power Purple Push UR Limits to show up tomorrow so I don't have to go to the store. I also wouldn't mind if the new batch of Mesh Headbands in Lolo and Citron showed up. As always, I hope for the next new tank design that I must have immediately.

I know many of you are hoping for the Inspire Pullover to finally make its debut. It was 101 degrees here today so it's hard for me to think about fall and long sleeve tops made of running luon. We've had the coolest summer this year and now it finally showed up on the day the kids go back to school. I was melting. Anyway, if this shows up, I'd like the static dark classic sport gray version.

Photos of the Back of the Lolo / Power Purple Push UR Limits

Finally some photos showing the back of the lolo purple Push UR Limits. Do you think this tank will be uploaded tomorrow? I hope so. It would save me a trip to the store. Someone commented in an earlier post that the two static dark classic sport gray Push UR Limits are made of light luon instead of luxtreme. Does anyone know if that is true? It could be the case of the luxtreme version of dark classic sport gray not feeling like a typical solid colored luxtreme. I know my luxtreme heathered coal wee stripe tanks feel thicker than my other luxtreme tops.  It's true - the static dark classic sport gray versions are luon light instead of luxtreme. A reader found the tag to the one she bought and it says luon light. I have to admit I find luon light to be hotter and not as breathable as luxtreme for hot workouts. I do like luon light better than full weight luon tops in hot weather but I prefer luxtreme to them both. One reason I bought my first Push UR Limits was that it was made of luxtreme and I intended to wear it for spin class. Our spin class gets like a sauna so I am always on the lookout for the lightest, most breathable and wicking tanks and the (luxtreme) Push is one of my favorites.

New Pant - Tadasana Pant

The Tadasana pants look cute on the woman in the top photo but not nearly as cute on the person in the third photo down. I think if you have thinner legs these pants will work but if you have heavier legs, a pant that is tight until about the knee and turns into a harem pant look at the ankle is not going to help you look slimmer. I do like the wide waistband, though.
  • Designed as a yoga or pilates pant that works with sneakers or bare feet in class
  • Luon®, our signature fabric: breathable with coverage, cotton-feel, 4-way stretch providing support and allowing freedom of movement
  • High rise with smooth wide waistband, bootcut leg
  • Waistband inner stash pocket to secure $ & keys
  • Stretch drawcord hem for pant adjustability
  • Flat seamed for chafe resistance & comfort
  • Preshrunk

Men's Outfits, Travel Pooch

These Run Speed Shorts are the same purple ombre plaid that the new baseball hat comes in. The hat is made of the same Swift material but there are no reflective stripes in the hat. The shorts look really sharp with the black Push UR Limits tank.

I don't usually post Lululemon men's stuff but I really like this outfit. It's the Seawall pant and Fairway tech shirt. My husband always notices whenever professional golfer Ryan Moore is wearing Lululemon at tournaments. I know Moore isn't sponsored but maybe the company should consider sponsoring some golfers to get their product noticed by more men.

Men's Kahuna Pant -I like the look of these pants, too.

The new travel pooch doesn't have a shoulder strap so I thought I'd post this photo showing how the bag looks when it's slung over your shoulder instead of around your waist. Too bad they don't made a shoulder strap.

New Cool Racerbacks - Dual Colors

There are more dual-tone Special Edition Cool Racerbacks coming out. I assume these are constructed the same as the previous batch - light luon body and constrasting color is power mesh along the neckline and armholes. The new color combos are: Alarming with Coal, White with Citron, and Oasis with River Rock. The mesh is see-through so the contrast of colors is not that noticeable. You can see that in the Oasis / River Rock version - the edging is very subtle:

Sorry for the bad photo on this one, I took it out a product alert email. I'm hoping to visit a store tomorrow and see this tank (er, buy it) in person.
