Is it just me or does this educator need to size up in both items? Sometimes I find that even the educators do not choose the right sizes for themselves. : / Don't mean to be mean, just an observation. Do others wear their Lulu that tight, or do I just wear mine a little loose?
The jacket definitely looks snug so I am wondering if it runs tight because I think it's looked snug in most of the photos I've seen of it. I have to say, it's a very dull looking sweat jacket.
The pants also look a bit snug but I can see starting out with those snug since the french terry relaxes a bit as you wear it.
@anon 2:42, I agree! Totally drives me nuts to see ill-fitting clothes. There is another lulu blog where the author wears clothes too tight too! We are conditioned to think of size, when really we should look at fit first.
@anon - If you ever watch the tv show What Not To Wear, the hosts beat on people to try and forget the size on the tag and concentrate about fit. I do it all the time, too. It's hard check you ego and take an honest look in the mirror.
Although, I have to say with the technical clothes people may like the fit snugger because they feel more support.
I hate to criticize the people who put photos on the net (amateurs only get a pass, not the Lulu website) that much because I think it takes a lot of guts to open yourself up to comments.
are those lulu pants or dance sweat pants? They look more like dance sweat pants (drawstring). although i have seen black lulu pants at my store recently.
Anon @ 3:02 - I agree with you about the other blogger. I even told her once (nicely)... it was the Post Run Pullover she was wearing. Wayyy too tight! Looked like she couldn't move.
It's interesting that most of you say to size up. I normally wear a 4 in street clothes but I go with an 8 in lulu. I hate tight fitting exercise clothes and I find that after I'm sweaty and moist from hot yoga, the last thing I want to feel is fabric tight on my skin. The educators sometimes look taken aback when I ask for a size 8 but at least it's comfortable.
Just a reminder (from one anonymous to another) that educators have feelings and many read these blogs. Might be nice to watch how you speak. Would you like someone speaking this way about your Mom or daughter? No? Yea, thought not.
In the future, please feel free to post photos of yourself in your lulu so we can judge. In my opinion, she looks rad and pulls off purple well :)

LOL! Very ill fitting...It seems strange that they would post these photos...not exactly the best advertising for the products.
@ anon 5:02 pm - The photo caption said Lulu pants II.
Hi guys,
Just a reminder (from one anonymous to another) that educators have feelings and many read these blogs. Might be nice to watch how you speak. Would you like someone speaking this way about your Mom or daughter? No? Yea, thought not.

Amen Sista!
