More Pure Balance Pant and Crop Photos - Very Different So Why the Same Name?

Wren Denim Pure Balance Pant

It looks like the Pure Balance Pant and Crops are really two different animals. The waistbands are entirely different and so are the design elements at the leg opening.

Update - FYI: I am getting multiple reports from slender ladies that both the Pure Balance Pant and Crop run tight at the waist and give a nasty muffin top. I haven't seen many pictures of that, though, so maybe the educators are sizing up.

Oooh, see I like the wren denim, but these are a HUGE no for me if they give you muffin top. I hope they do that fabric in another pant.

Speaking of muffin top, I know in an earlier post you were contemplating other alternatives to Lulu pants. Let me be one to say that you should stay away from Zella pants at Nordstrom - at least when it comes to workouts. I have 2 pairs that I wear for casual wear - I actually love the "live-in leggings" and wear them as street wear all the time. But the fabric is too thick for a hot cardio workout and I just wore a pair of the booty pant (their version of grooves) for my vinyasa flow class today. This was the first and last time I will make that mistake. The waistband kept rolling during the vinyasas and and I kept having to tug at them. Ugh. I've never had that problem with my WU's or grooves. Zellas have been moved out of my workout drawer.

Michelle Q - good to know! I've actually purchased some "live-in leggings" before, but ended up taking them back before wearing them. They seem cute for casual wear though!

Oh LA - I know you don't post a lot about the men's line (understandably), but I saw this on FB and I think my hubs would LOVE it (if it weren't white) - the golf shirt is Luxtreme with Mesh Venting!

Luluaddict - I don't know how long these have been on the website, but I just purchased a black baseball running hat!! So excited! This is my first from Lululemon.. I've wanted one forever but always miss out on them! The picture is the plaid ombre, but it's black once you click on it. It's the "W Cross Training Cap" or the older Baseball hat! yayyy!!

Oh, what is the hat made of? Do you think it would be easy to wash in the machine? Thanks!

Speaking of zella, I bought the super soft hoodie this week in blue and it is really lightweight and uber soft peached organic stretchy cotton. Great weight if you live in a warm climate.

The skinny stripe at the top of the balance pant is not flattering.

For those of you interested in the nike tradition hoodie (sandra bullock was wearing the grey one on a post here last week), 6pm.com has a couple of colors for $45 (2.95 shipping). I ordered the blue one last week (although last week they were $39) and it is a really nice jacket that comes down longer like the stride for some bum coverage and is slim fit with deep pockets. Fits TTS: I'm a smallish 6 in lulu jackets and the small was perfect. Just thought I'd pass it along.

Sorry I don't see the travel pooch anymore, it must have been a site error.

@ LisaLuvsLulu - Thanks for the update on the hats! I love the baseball caps and have the purple plaid one and a Potion Purple One. I've washed the hats in my front loader machine and they came out fine. They must be clearing out old stock so get one while you can. I hope they come out with a blue one.

@ Michelle Q - I tried on Zella pants awhile ago. I didn't care for the fabric at all - it seemed like it would be hot.

The new golf shirts are pretty nice. My husband has lost a bit of weight so he is starting to buy Lululemon shirts now. He recently got the Fairway Tech SS golf shirt which is a nice looking shirt.

The Sprinker Ikat Push is way cute. My kids have been home sick lately so I haven't been able to go to the store. Maybe tomorrow.

@LisaLovesLulu - thanks for the heads up on the hat! Little league season is coming up and I live in my lulu hat (I only have one - the flight running bonnet) all season long. This will be a great addition!

There was one lonely travel pooch in citron return on the site earlier today.

Michelle Q - Oh, good! I'm glad you were able to get one! I am happy it's black, a good neutral color for my first Lulu hat.

LA - That's great that they wash well!! I'll keep that in mind when mine starts to get a lil funky!

I have the coal baseball cap and the black flight running bonnet. Would love another hat in a color - blue maybe! I'd pick up the black but it's just too similar to my other 2 hats.

More women stuffing their rolls into too-tight Lululemon. NOT a good look.
