NEW! CRB Color

Not sure what this color is - Static Margarita? It looks a little dark to be margarita but you never can tell with lighting variations in photos. A reader says this is microstripe Wren and she says it's an extra long CRB.

I'm thinking it's not margarita. Maybe Static Wren? A reader says this is Microstripe Wren. I'm not sure what the wrinkles are in the front. Some people have speculated they are just wrinkles but they are too symmetrical so I am wondering if this is another SE version of the CRB. As soon as I get more info I'll update. If anyone has seen this tank in their local store and has more info, let us know.

There seems to be a contrast stitching down the side too.

And what are the pants? They kind of looks like DSP's - but in a forest green? Hmmmm! :)

I tried it on today and it's a longer crb. I believe it's micro striped with wren. The bottoms are the wren crops. Very cute color but it was a little too long for me. I'm 5'1"

Thanks, Cupcakes! Does it have seems at the top of the breast or are those just wrinkles. I don't know if everyone knows, but you can always get tanks hemmed.

Just wrinkles. Good to know about the hemming. =)

Sorry I think I was wrong about the extra long lenth. It's regular length. I think for some reason when I tried it on at the store with the crop dsp's it looked longer(maybe because of the baggier, shorter fit). I tried it on again at home with a regular crb and it hit at the same place. Sorry again for the confusion.

when the tops are worn too tight and they don't adjust properly, they wrinkle like that. that's what i think it's from. in my experience, the educators wear their stuff WAY TOO tight or maybe i wear my stuff too loose ;)

i am between a 4/6 in grooves. i tried on the 2, 4, 6 and the educators were all trying to convince me to buy the 2s. i ended up purchasing the 6s but will probably exchange them for 4s as i am in the process of "attempting" to lose some weight. i realized then and looked at all the educators and realized that they all wore their clothes really tight.

luluaddict, I love your blog, thanks for keeping us informed! Question, I have noticed that the wee stripes luon have a different formulation. How does the added polyester effect how it keeps you cool? Do these keep the heat in more? Wick better or worse?

@ anon 5:11 am - I tried on the black microstripe CRB and it felt thick, hot, and scratchy to me so I didn't get it. However, the purple microstripe was very soft feeling. So, the feel varies from color to color. The static CRBs have a large polyester content and they feel thin and cool and I own two of those. The also have a Black Roses Print Power Y and Ikat CRB which are 100% polyester and they breathe and wick very well. I think Lululemon knows how to do Polyester tops well so they breathe and wick just a well or better than regular luon/light luon.

Someone on Lulumum's blog posted that the crb is wren and split pea microstripe. Split pea, I guess, is a new yellowish green colour. It looks pretty.

I bought this new tank last week (in the Santa Barbara store), although at the time I wasn't sure what the color codes meant. It seemed normal length to me, and felt a bit softer to me than my other CRBs. And cupcake is correct--while it has contrast seaming down the sides, the front doesn't have any.

Color code for the cool racerback is SPWS (Split Pea Wren stripe?) Just picked up in Georgetown, DC.
