Tanks Hitting Us Stores - New Push UR Limits and the New Get Focused Tank

The new Get Focused Tank has hit US Stores. It comes in black, flush, and spinkler ikat print. If any of you see it and get to try it on, we'd love a fit review. I have to return something so I'll be heading to the store in the next few days and will look for it.

The new Coal Strata Stripe Push UR Limits is in the US. I'll have to remember if this has the new adjustable bra in it like the Rubber Ducky version. I wish they'd put the adjustable bra in the Power Y tanks. I've read some people complaining about the hook digging into their side but I never noticed anything. However, I've only ever tried on the tanks with the adjustable bra. I've never worn them for an extended period of time.

I can't decide if I like the Sprinkler Ikat Push or not. I thought I would like the Wish with the rainbow stripe straps version but I didn't once I had it on. I'm toying with trading in my new Sprinkler Scoop Neck for this Push. Sometimes I put on certain colors of the Push and I feel I look like a giant pair of boobs because the material is so stretchy and doesn't contain the girls that well. However, the Ikat Push does appeal to my inner attention whore which manifests itself by wearing brightly-colored, wildly-patterned gym clothes. Hmmm, decisions, decisions.

Bleh. Too much ikat in my opinion. I think they have overdone it. I like that coal strata stripe Push Your Limits.

Does anyone know if the coal strata PYL is luxtreme? I might need to swing by my Lulu at lunch today...

Beyond tired of ikat. But then, I didn't like it from the beginning, LOL.

@alison, I'm betting it's not. I've got the heathered coal wee stripe Push and an educator told me it's not regular luxtreme, it's a little bit thicker and fits a little different than the luxtreme Push tanks do. However that said, I still like my HCWS Push.

@LA, I personally like the Push tanks better than the Scoop Neck, I feel like it's more supportive (& the ikat straps are fun!) and shows less cleavage crack (which I HATE showing when I workout!). And regarding the adjustable bra, I have a Sun Salutation tank with it and I've never noticed the hooks while working out in it. I think they should add that to all of the medium support tanks.

I'm itching to see more shots of the Flush Push and just how bright it really looks.

Agreed, they are overdoing the ikat. Personally, I think it looks better in small touches like on the blue Push Your Limits tank, than as an all-over print. It acutlly looks more like snow-leopard print in small pieces than when you see the full print--it's too symmetrical.

@anon 9.47, how does it fit different? small/large? thanks for the info!

Hey do you guys have any feedback to whether or not certain lulu tanks are ok to wear out? Such as the get focused tank in all black or even the ikat print? Ive had ppl tell me that it's tacky to wear work out clothes around town:( --- what do you guys think?

Anon 10:03 AM- Personally I think some tanks are better suited to wearing around than others. The Get Focused is a good bet; I find the more feminine tanks like that, or flowy options look less obviously like you just came from the gym. I think of them as my "transition" pieces, as I wear them to both the gym, and just on some errands. Alternately, I also think some of the shelfless tanks like the crb are great for layering. :)

I would wear my all black No Limits Tank as well as the solid black scoop out. In my opinion they can definitely pass as casual wear for me. (actually I wore the scoop out to a kinda nice dinner and it looked nice with some wide leg pants.)

CRBs are great in/outside of gym. i bought a few Mynah Tanks last summer and they are definitely NOT for gym IMO. i got many compliments as street wear though.

I am new to your blog - but i must say that it is awesome!! You are also so lucky to be able to buy so much lulu stuff- i have to rely on online only due to my location- and it is infuriating that all the good stuff sells out so fast.. not too mention - the stuff that was released online yesterday is already on ebay selling for twice as much - anyways- thank you for publishing this blog- it's great to see what is coming down the pike -

I wear a tadasana tank around town with WUs and knee high looser fitting boots. Ive also worn a scoop neck with grooves and a cardigan around town. Ive also done the hot class with a sweater, WUS, the boots and even a fedora. The hot class tanks that look more solid, like the coal, look more street wear than the black sheer luon which is two toned. Usually, anything solid and in a neutral shade, such as coal or black, I've worn as casua wear and it is fine. The only time my fiancé thinks i went to the gym is when it's a bright color, eg teal zeal or señorita pink, paired with sneakers.

Items that I wear as street wear: black no limit tank, wunder unders, wear with all hoodie and savasana jacket. I dont think it should only be dedicated as gym wear. I get to be cute and comfy at the same time.

@alison, I find that the luxtreme Push tanks fit larger than my HCWS Push. The educator that told me HCWS was not luxtreme said that the luxtreme fits a bit looser. Hopefully that helps you!

I bought a black repetition tank to wear outside of the gym. I think it's totally street wear! I wear the crb's to work all of the time! Regarding the fit of the PUL, I feel like I'm between sizes (and feel that way with the flow y tank as well). Would the adjustable bra help with that if I were to get the larger of the two sizes?

@luluaddict--new pullover at my gym--run pacesetter (static black) just saw it listed on ebay, too!!

@Anon 12:35 - I saw that Run: Pacesetter listing on eBay too. I wonder why Lulu would put out a pullover that looks almost identical to the Run: Inspire?

did the PUL tank with the adjustable straps get to the US stores and i missed them? i don't remember seeing a rubber ducky one online or in stores and i wanted to try them.

do any of you gals do KB with lulu? i find my girls bouncing everywhere with even the medium support tanks like PUL and a flow y with a tank. i can't imagine doing KB with a power y. but i don't like the feel of the ta ta tamers or the bust stops here bra. help!

I can't run or do crossfit in any of Lulu's tanks with support. Even the bras I find not supportive enough for even moderate activity. I know others with big boobs will say PUL,Stand Stong tank or 50 rep bra works for them but NOTHING Lulu makes in the bra/support department works for me for high intensity activities. I don't think it's the design necessarily, i think they don't use materials that offer any compression. I also find that the straps are always a little long so my boobs look like they are at bellybutton level. Not so good.

There is one top I can actually trail run in now that I think of it....the deep V tank. Not the bra. The straps on the deep V bra started to become excruciatingly painful on the back of my neck about an hour into a run. I wrote to Lulu many times to say that the deep v bra would be awesome if they just used the wide straps from the athletic deep v tank III on the bra version. Of course, no response.

So, i love this bra:

It comes in cute colors that look good poking out from underneath CRBs.

I agree with Luluaddict that champion makes some great bras as well.

I've finally learned my lesson with Lulu tops. Wait for the CRB to come out in the colors you want. And only buy a support tank if your plan is to use it as streetwear or for yoga.

@ Anna - Nothing by Lululemon passes the jumping jacks test for me - even a Deep V tank. To lock the girls down I have to use my Champion Powerback and Donna Karan 35137 Under wire bras with a CRB or other shelfless tank.

If I wear a lower support tank like the Power Y I have to layer a Flow Y or 50 Rep bra underneath to do intervals on the elliptical. I layer a Flow Y or 50 Rep under my Power Dance and No Limit tanks, too. I've also layered an All Sport under the Push UR Limits to give me extra support. That locks the girls in pretty good but it gets tight around my rib cage after awhile so I have to take it off right after I'm done in the gym. Probably the best tank I've found for support is the silver luon Challenge tank but I sized down in that one so that probably helps. I think silver luon has real promise as a thicker, compressive fabric that breathes well. I find luon and luxtreme has too much stretch to give much support.

The tanks I use as street wear are usually black. Any tank that the logo is placed under the arm or at the bottom is one they probably intend people to use for dance or street wear. My favorite street wear tanks are: Dance Twisted Tank and Fouette Tank for evenings out with the girls - I use a wrap for these. I also like to wear my black Power Y. I wear my CRBs around a lot in the summer.

I'm betting the Coal Strata Push is they heavier luxtreme also. I have the Heathered Coal Wee Stripe Push and really like it.

I am not a huge fan of the Ikat either, but the Sprinkler Blue/Ikat PUL tank actually looks really cute on- I usually just stick with black, coal, and white- and CRB's - but decided to give this a chance and it's really very flattering on.

Omg I LOVE that ikat blue push ur limits! I hope I can snag one before they sell out.

I really like the Sprinkler/ ikat Push too! I've never really been a fan of the ikat print, I think it's just too loud for me, but I think it looks great in small doses! I'm pretty tempted on this Push!

In regards to the sports bra issue, my latest favorite is from Under Armour:

http://www.underarmour.com/shop/us/en/womens/apparel/sports-bras/high-impact/pid1001174-Women-s-Endure-C-Cup-/1001174-001

I find it fits pretty well under the Push Ur Limits, Commit, and CRB tanks. You can see it a little, but not so much that it looks bad and it is SUPER supportive! I did not want a bra that I had to pull over my head (without hooks), but this is so good that I don't mind making the sacrifice.

I love the PUL sprinkler/ikat too but havent been able to find it online or in any of the stores I have checked (in Ontario)..... Where have you guys been seeing it?
