Wunder Unders Now Available in Silver Luon

I saw new Wunder Unders in Silver Luon tonight at the Carlsbad, CA store. My sister was in the Carlsbad area on business so we met at Lululemon for shopping followed by dinner. I am a huge fan of silver luon - I have the Challenge tank and Silver Hot Class Tank - and am excited to see it used in some core items. I didn't try these on because they didn't have my size but I had my sister try them on. She thought the stretch "felt funny" but she is used to wearing luxtreme running crops. Anyway, for you silver luon fans, it sounds like there will be more silver luon items coming out. The silver wunder unders were something like $86 or $88.

I didn't care so much for the Challenge line, but I think I could actually get a lot of use out of the silver WUs.

I haven't noticed any pilling in my Challenge tank but that doesn't get nearly the friction that a pair of wunder unders would get. I know it doesn't pick up the pet hair as much because I gave my medium-haired cat a hug in my Challenge tank and it grabbed a couple of hairs and not half the cat like regular luon does. The big thing about silver luon is that it is thick and compressive so it is good at hiding flaws. My sister looked very sleek and smooth when she tried them on. However, silver luon breathes really well so don't let the thicker material put you off.

I have the Challenge crops and LOVE them. Great for working out and as you said, they do smooth out some of the bumps.

The Pacesetter crops look promising, but the description says they have a low rise and I find I do better with a mid or higher rise. Is it true that they have a low rise?

I am hopeful there will be silver luon tights soon with a drawstring, and some reflectivity would be awesome. I'm excited to try out my silver Hot Class tank (which I had to exchange for a size up).

@ RunMamma - That's interesting that you went up a size on the Silver Hot Class tank. What ran small on you? I thought it fit very similar to the regular Hot Class though less stretchy in the bra part and the tummy part probably poufed out less. I'm impressed you were able to exchange it since they sold out so quickly in the US.

@ Mary in Boston - Have you noticed any pilling issues with your Challenge crops? My sister is only 5' tall so it's impossible to tell if the rise runs low on her.

so far so good with no pilling yet on the crops. But I have been wearing them for only a couple of weeks. Just the right length and they stay up pretty much. LOL. None of my crops survive burpees as far as staying place. But everything else they stay in place for.

I will have to go try the Challenge Crops. I'm 5'3" and the Dash crops are actually tights on me.

I meant, I will have to go try the PACESETTER crops. LOL.

@LA - I found it pulled on my shoulders/neck most of all. I could have used more coverage in the bust too. I didn't even try the 8 with cups in. They had several 10s at the store. I am an 8 pretty much across the board yet I found the 10 was much more comfortable, and I will be able to wear cups. Super-cute tank, with the somewhat looser fit of the 10 I will be wearing it for casual too, for sure. The educator said most ladies were sizing up for this tank. Maybe she was just saying that though, who knows!

@ RunMamma - What store - in Canada? None of my local stores got the Silver Luon Hot Class in, just the regular Hot Class.
