This is the Scuba in Unicorn Tears. After I tried on the multi-colored Unicorn Tears CRB I was wondering I would like the print better in a black and white version but I don't know if I would care for tanks in this version of the print either. Maybe if the print was used alongside a solid color.
This is a little peek of the Violaceous Downtime jacket which is actually more of a dip dye version where the color gets gradually darker from top to bottom. The
Lululmum blog has the web model photos of it and it is gorgeous! As soon as I find full length photos of it, I will post. I thought the Downtime was a very comfortable jacket but has a puffy profile and I prefer more fitted jackets.

I like the idea of the UT print, but find myself wishing it wasn't on a white background. I'd love to see them do a tone-on-tone version of this print ... maybe black UT on a gray background or dark pink UT on a paler pink background.
Not a fan of the black UT, i'd definately want colours though.
When is the downtime going to be available in the violaceous? I can't find it anywhere! Thanks!
I think the UT pattern is cool but too much for me taste. I went into my lululemon store and the salesgirl had black bottoms, the UT tank on top with an off the shoulder solid top...that was cute! now i'm thinking, i could pull that off!
The UT Scuba looks cute, but as is my typical issue with any printed Scuba, it has the solid color block side panelling, which is a great way to make me look unecessarily wide. I'll go for the ivory/sand dune one instead!
I love the violicious downtime jacket as well. It is so pretty.

I bought the Downtime Jacket with the white/gray stripes and LOVE it-it fits my broad shoulders/boobs with room for layering and the color goes with everything-it has enough gray in it, so as not to wash me out or make me look like a marshmallow.

This just crossed my mind, but why do they always try to make basic features (as in, basic to most sport items) seem like MAGICAL inventions? "Wow! We included drawstrings! Special!"
The jacket itself seems really pretty, but this form of advertising makes me feel like they think we are one year olds! Grrrr

I'm confused with the Downtime jacket. I saw a post on the Lulu facebook wall that said it wasn't meant to be a running jacket, yet I keep seeing where people refer to it as such. Is it a lightweight jacket suitable for spring running?
@Kiki - The Downtime might be a little warm for spring running. It's really not much lighter (warmth-wise) than the Hustle Jacket or the Run: Record Breaker Jacket. But I guess it would depend on the climate where you live and what you would layer under it.
The all-black UT print looks like smoke. Puff puff pass.

I like the unicorn tears, but I am going to hold out for the violaceous love print scuba instead cuz it looks way prettier in the photos.
does anyone know how the downtime jacket fits? i'm not near a store -so i can't try it on. is it as tight across the chest as the hoodies?
