My full love is back but I wasn't too worried about my order anyway. ;-) I've come to accept they are on a learning curve with the website and their extraordinary growth. I think they've definitely addressed a lot of my issues -
1) prints are back again, 2) bras and tanks are being designed for larger breasted women, 3) they brought back a khaki green, 4) they brought back a red color, 5) they seem to have fixed their thin, scratchy black luon problem 6) they are working on getting an industry standard website
All in all, I think they are headed in the right direction as far as what I'd like to see out of them.
@ anon 9:11 - I haven't had issues with my Defines falling apart or fraying. However, I have quite a few to and fro jackets that I rotate through so each gets worn only a few times a month. I've read the reviews on the Define and I haven't read any reports of problems. I think the location of the zipper on the pocket of the Stride/In Stride makes is such that it will rub against your arm and that is what is tearing the threads out.
I wonder if that's $20 for each order placed on those days? Lol! I placed two that are somewhere in Ohio and New Jersey!
In regards to the Define jacket, I bought my first one today in Sand Dune. I wasn't much of a Define jacket girl, but after reading your commentaries on the jacket, I had to try them on today. I love it! Like you said, it's so soft!
I agree with your comment that Lulu is taking a step in the right direction. I was upset about the shipping fiasco as well, but not as much as some of the comments you posted. This at least shows that they are listening to their customers and willing to do something to compensate. Which is WAY more than I can say for the airline industry. ;-)
On a side note, I ended up with the Heathered Sand Dune define yesterday. I am in LOVE. This is my second define, but I find it so much more versatile than other jackets - I wear mine to work all the time and I work in a professional business setting.
@ Michelle Q - I saw your photo of you in the new Define - it looked super cute on you. One thing about the Heathered Defines is that the logo on the back blends in with the color so it's hard to see and not obvious you are wearing "gym clothes."
On the 15th I did my orders directly to paypal witout logging into my lulu account. All orders were wacked, all with no confirmations, I haven't gotten any emails regarding the $20 gift cards. I am a sad addict.
I hadn't even read the "sorry" email yet, then I came here and saw the comments! Wow, a $20 gift card! That's a big deal for me at least, since I encountered only a minor minor issue with my 4/15 order.
I'm new to Lulu (since Xmastime) and I've dropped waaay too much lettuce on building a new workout /lounge wardrobe. I'm definitely overboard, but I really love the quality that leaves traditional sports brands far behind in many respects.
I got the Define jacket pictured above and boy, is it worth it! Get it, get it!
I also wanted to mention (and I've posted this elsewhere) that I ordered the Black Pique Define and it arrived today, but it's the other version. The website shows the silver-zipper version with solid black logo stripes, but I received the Black plastic zipper with the outline logo stripes. I'm extremely happy I got the latter, so if anyone else was looking for that version, maybe you'd get the same. I know a lot of ladies aren't in love with the silver zipper.
@ ericavale - I did my order via paypal, too. I also logged in as a guest since my saved profile was gone. I assume you checked the email address you gave when you made the order? My email did not show up until 8 pm this evening so maybe they are still getting them out.
I just got this jacket too! I love how soft it is! I want that CRB underneath also :) Is that Seaspray? Michelle, I saw your pic also, I love the heather sand dune and was debating on the define or the in stride version. I already have too many of each though...
@anon 1050 - glad to hear about the pique define. I inquired about this the other day and was told I would receive the silver zip one. I really prefer the black zipper one so maybe I will order this after all ;)
I got the $20 gift card email too. I agree it is a step in the right direction. They can't go back in time and change things but they can make it better going forward. I think all of our comments on this site and FB influenced the gift card compensation for the mixup.
I have the InStride worn it to death and haven not had any problems whatsover. I just wish they came in brighter colors, there is too much grey around at the moment.
BTW LA - kudos on your blog postings. I think the lulu 'spies' who read it, and most likely the TJI site, really learned the depth of frustration some 'guests' were experiencing with the website upgrade. Power to the people :-)
YAY! I got emailed about a $20 gift card. I'm pretty psyched. I wasn't even miffed about my package being shipped around the world...So this has definitely brightened my day :)
OT... How do the Astro crops fit? The description says it's a low-rise crop, and in the current pictures online the solid black does look low, too low for me, but on the TC and TR pairs (on the more muscular model) they look more like a medium rise. Can anybody advise? I really like the shorter length, but not if it means I'll constantly be pulling them up because they feel too low. Thanks guys!
Anonymous @April 22, 2011 7:01 AM: In regards to Astro Crops. To me, it fits very similarly to Wonder Unders. Only the front is a tad lower, due to the criss-cross of the front waist band panel.
Are they giving the gift cards automatically to everyone that placed orders on the 15 and 16? I haven't received that apology email yet from lululemon. :-(
I'm very glad to hear this resolution. I think that a lot of the uproar would have been averted if GEC had just been up front and honest with us in the beginning. Like Lulumum said.... "We are easy!" :)
Anon @April 22, 2011 7:01 AM I have the astro crops, they are fairly high rise on me.. out of all my lulu crops they are the ones I have to pull up the least while working out.
@Anon 4:47 The Define is very fitted, especially in the bust and I size up. It seems like most people I've heard from size up also. I have several, but my favorite is the black pique that I got a couple of months ago. I did not know what to expect of the fabric since I can not try it in a store, but it is so incredibly soft and stretchy. Love it!!
I have also been wondering about the rise of the astro crop. I am thinking about getting them, but fall between sizes in some Lulu pants.
Re the Astro pant fit...they fit, for me, unlike every other piece of Lulu I have. Didn't notice before I bought, but there is a definite tendency to the dreaded camel toe! I wear them only in my home gym to run or for loungewear around the house. I love my WunderUnders, they're a much better fit for me. (I'm 5'6" and wear a 6.)
I wasn't nearly as upset with the shipping fiasco as some were, but the apology email and giftcard sure did erase any frustration I had with them. I think it's a great response and for me, I'm still firmly on Team Lululemon. ;)

ahaha were so easy.
Pretty! I don't own a Define, not a Define girl, but this one is drawing me in.
are the defines as "fragile" as the Stride jackets?

I bought some DSC and I am thinking about returning them and re-buying them with my gift card!

Another Define convert. They are my favorite.

@Luluaddict- Thanks! I told my husband it's part of my mother's day present. ;-)

What is the colour of the Define pictured? Do they run TTS...I don't have one yet, but think I may need one...

Is this the heather blurred gray define?

@LuluAddict.....no, still no email sent. Will inquire....
disregard my earlier question... i just received the email. woo hoo! i love lululemon!

I placed an order on Tuesday, and received it today (Friday). Im in California.
