Scoop Neck Tank Gallery

Since some of you were discussing the Scoop Neck tanks here is a bunch of photos of the Scoop on a variety of women. I think the Scoop is one the most universally flattering tanks Lululemon makes. It looks nice on small and large busted women, small and large framed women. I wasn't a big fan until recently and now I have five of them, four bought in the last few months. They give pretty decent support to even large busted women and it is my favorite gym workout tank. Lululemon is coming out with a bunch of Scoop necks this month. I read in my product alerts there is a black with a fruity tootie collar that I am dying to see.

I agree that the scoop is the most universally flattering tank.

Grey and white added to the CDN site this morning! YAY, because I scooped the white DS crops I've had my eye on! <3

I've always loved the Scoop Neck. The three colors I have are all represented in your post. :D

(Blue space dye, heathered purple crush, and I forget the name of the last one, but it's some kind of grey microstripe with a dark grey collar)

I only had 1 scoop and I've had to size down so I sold it on ebay and I recently order the Tinted Canvas scoop through the Cali Lulu Buyers (who shipped SO FAST!!), but I didn't realize how much light pink was in the print which does not look good on my pale complexion so I'm returning it to the GEC. But I'm super happy to hear that they'll be releasing a bunch of new colors because I want a few of these along with a few more CRB's. Then I've got to ween myself from buying so much Lulu so often since the husband and I are trying to save money to tackle many much needed home improvements! Can't wait to see what colors they'll be!!

I now need to go try this style on again. I tried it on once months ago but didn't find it flattering on me. Might just be time to give it another chance.

Does anyone have a visual colour comparison of power purple and grapeseed? I'm wondering how close they are...

I tried to Love these...but this style really pulls on the back of my neck! I even went up a size(looked silly in the chest/abs) and felt the same pressure. I know I have perpetually tight traps/scalenes, but couldn't pull this one off! I do LOVE how it looks on everyone, though!

The San Antonio store had a picture uploaded to facebook yesterday with a scoop neck that was black with what looked like a red collar. Is that the one you're talking about?

i agree with anon @ 6:06am...love the scoopneck but the neck strap irritated the heck out of the back of my neck. one step class was all it took and that puppy was sold on eBay.
OT: the new checkout online is NICE. seemless and easy. no bouncing from one screen to the next. lets see how long the shipping takes, though. usu. takes a week to get from CA to NH by Fedex Ground.

I love how the Scoop Neck looks on, but on me the fabric always bunches up at the neck (which can see it doing on a number of the girls in the photos). Bummer since it is so flattering on pretty much every body type.

Another huge fan of scoopneck tanks here. I have 3 (one is too big, but will work well for at least a few months this summer), but would love to add a few more. My local has black/fruity tootie and it's really pretty.

Enough of the store is back up that I was able to grab the white DSP crops. I really really hope they work b/c I have visions of them being my go-to weekend pant this summer with metallic flats and a cute tank.

I have 4 scoopnecks and really like them when I want to wear regular luon tops. I have converted over to Luon Light because I like my tops lighter. Most of my scoopnecks are older and it was nice to see them posted here! I also order the DSC's in white on the website. So happy I was up early and checked it. I'm in the US and we don't have them in stores yet. My store had the black w/fruity tootie scoopneck. I thought it was just older stock coming out, like the CRB's in savage, bold blue and bubbilicious. I hope they release more of that pink, it's a pretty color.

I really want to like these, but I also had the problems with it pulling on the neck. The other thing that I really don't like is the bust area is way too small! I am quite flat chested, and I find that the top part is way too skinny and don't think its flattering to the bustline at all!

I loved the way these fit on me until I started moving--for some reason, the seam at the mesh liner on the bodice would always chafe my skin, right under my armpit. It was too bad.

@ anon 6:22 am - Thank you for the heads up on re: the black and fruity Scoop neck. I've been looking for a photo of this.

Great post, I love seeing the progression of scoop neck tanks over the years! I really like seeing some of the more vintage lulu items too- I absolutely loved this post and would love to see more like it in the future!! :)

Tried on the Sailor Stripe Scoop Neck Tank at Lulu Glendale/Americana tonight. Was surprised to see that one (back?) in stores! Love the Sailor Stripe but alas, I know this will pull on my neck.

Looks awesome, though.
