The Waltz Pant Turns Into Crops (and More)

The new Waltz pants have ties in the bottom to turned them into crops. However, it looks like she knotted the fabric on her left leg. Hmm, need to see more photos for clarification. Update- readers are writing in there is no tie at the bottom and that the educator invented this style. I know the old Jesus pant did not have ties, so was puzzled at this update. However, lulu is a bit tie-happy on their pants IMO so it could have been possible.

More photos showing the Willpower catching in the armpit area causing creases on your chest (and now back!).

Do you know what bottoms she is wearing in the Willpower pics? I love the seaming detail - need to see more closely...

Sure, I'll be turning my waltz pants into crops...because I love that bulky look...not!!! Love the Chai Time!!

I like the Chai Time and the Waltz Pants, but I have a feeling on anyone not as skinny as those two models they will look huge and silly...

Yes, something is awry with the arms on the Willpower tee. I tried it on the other day and it would not lay right at all!!

@anon 12:20am I think those may be the bandhas crops?

Agree with @ anon 5:56 AM - those bottoms looked like the Bandhas Crop. And yes, the Waltz pants looked awful cropped. Don't see how it can not look bulky when tied because of the too much fabric. If crop look is your hearts desire with the Waltz, just have it cut/hemmed that way, perhaps mid calf, so that you'll still have the flared look. But what a waste though, maybe they'll come up with the crop version. Personally, I'm over the "Palazzo" (sp?)look from a few years ago. Too much fabric to practise yoga with. To each his(her, in this case!) own...

OMG, I need to get the Chai Time pullover in gray!!! I already have it in wish blue, but the gray is also SO pretty and looks nice with the waistband on the Waltz pants. @ Oliviaaa, the pullover is actually very flattering! I had also thought it was a "models only" look, but then I tried it on at the store and just HAD to have it. It's so soft, and it's roomy, so it doesn't cling to problem areas. The Waltz pant, I'm afraid might not look great on someone who's short and has proportionately bigger hips (as I do), but I guess I'll have to try it on.

I bought the willpower ss shirt this past weekend and have worked out in it. I like it. I love how my arms look in that length of sleeve. Just offering up my experience with the shirt.

I feel like I could get something very similar to the pullover at forever 21 for like 15 dollars lol, but the waltz pants are very unique and pretty.

Just got a LS swiftly tech tee --- I love the feel of the fabric but am worried that it will snag easily--- anyone out there have experience/advice on this?

@Mary in Boston Oh yeah definitely love the sleeve, but it just doesn't lay right around the arm openings (pulls, folds over as in all the photos)

@Anon 8:15am I didn't notice that after I started working out, in fact, it really wasn't a problem for me. I dunno, I like the look of it. Made my back look nice too! ;-) And I went down a size. Perhaps that's why I love it. The CRBs show all my flaws tummywise, this shirt does not.

the waltz pants do not, in fact, have a tie at the bottom. that educator just tied them herself.

She needs to untie them and I'll forget this ever happened...!

@anon 9:51am HAHA! :)

I bought the Waltz Pants last night--no tie. I'm not sad, because that is a pretty terrible look.

The Willpower tee fit me perfectly. For reference I'm a 32B and wear a 2, can generally wear a 4 if that is the smallest it comes in. I'm really short but have long arms and legs.
It's what I brought to wear to the gym later so I'll have to pick machines in front of mirrors so I can see what it does in action LOL!

@ Mary - glad the Willpower ss works on you. It didn't on me and then I noticed it seemed to catch on a lot of the arms of people in photos so just wanted to alert people it might not work for them. It's so hard to judge fit when you mail order clothes that I try highlight drawbacks or great features as much as possible and let people know.

LuluAddict, I understand, and I very much appreciate your blog and what you do for us lululemon lovers, just wanted to present my experience with the shirt. It definitely helps to be able to try on things before buying and I understand not all lulu buyers have the luxury of going to stores to try things.

I wonder if the red and citron shirts have the same issue, because pictures of that do not show the lines. At least of the ones I have seen.

Thanks again for enabling all of us lulu addicts!

I wonder if buying the willpower tee in a size down, like Mary in Boston said, will obviously make the folds go away because the fabric is pulled tighter on the body all over... hmm! Interesting. Might want to try this? Like the shirt otherwise.

All the posts about the crop version of the waltz pant are making me laugh! I like the way they look but have to agree I won't be getting any because I am not wanting to get back into the whole wide bottom thing. The chai time in this darker grey was quite nice, but I do agree I didn't get it because to me it looked like just another sweater not worth the $$$

@ anon 3:02 PM and other on chai time- a agree it does not look like a $90 sweater. max $30 to me. also, the neck line is too open, which makes it useless for colder days, and you would not relly need a sweater like this for summer. fabric is nice, but design is very underdeveloped, i think.
re: waltz pant: can anyone tell if they are reversable and if they come in different colors (the top part)?

The waltz pants at my store had a grey top...heathered blurred grey perhaps?

@ anon 3:51 PM - thanks for waltz pant color comment

@anon: the waltz pants are reversible. the black with canvas tint waistband reverses to black with black waistband.
