New Black/Heathered Blurred Gray Groove Crops

New Groove Crops - Black / Heathered Blurred Gray
I know this version of the Groove Crop probably isn't very exciting to most of you but I love the pleated rectangles waistband on the Grooves. I have a few Heathered Blurred Gray tops so I might get this to have a matching pair of bottoms. I know a lot of people say their waistbands don't show but sometimes my tops creep up when I do cardio or bend over on the weight machines. Moreover, one reason I love the Groove crop and pants is that they are reversible to all-black so if you don't have a coordinating top, you can turn them inside out.

My newest Groove pants - I love that all the color is on the bottom row so it's more likely to peep out from under your top.

zobha is having a big clearance sale on their stuff right now, though. just picked up more grace tanks (scoopneck). the neckline sits lower on the neck, imo. i can't wear the LLL version, but Zobha fits perfect and doesn't creep up the neck with movement!

totally agree about the Zobha scoopneck! have had two of them for years & LOVE but the LLL version looks strange on me (small chested 34B). Did Lulu copy Zobha on that one???

LLA, I share your love of the black/heathered blurred grey combo! That's one of the nicest grooves I've seen and heathered grey is one of my faves anyway...love my SFT in HBG! Especially that I got it on sale :)

Like the new version of the Groove crop, the pleated rectangle is what clinched it. The waistband do show some during my yoga practise, just peep out. Not too crazy on the leg opening of the Groove crop though, but if they have this in a 2 (which is difficult to find in the US, except for the basic styles), I'll snatch it for sure!

Just hope they don't call this cute pleated rectangle Black / Heathered Blurred Gray Groove crop an SE and stick a $92 price tag on it like those ruffle waistband ones from last year! Grrrr...if they do!

Does anyone know where the dewberry swiftlys are made? Are they the "good" ones, or the ones that seems to pill/tear/shear easily? Thanks!

Has anyone ever had the waist of lulu pants taken in? I've lost about 10lbs recently and the waist on my groove crops is too big now, but the legs still fit just fine and I don't really want to buy new ones. (Well, I DO want to buy new ones, but my wallet doesn't.) I wonder if I could just take them in for alterations?

Anna: I have taken in the waist before. I tell ya what... so not worth it. They will always feel like the odd pair of pants that just don't fit exactly right. Sell what you have on eBay, in fact creat a "lot" of your former fat clothes, and with that money, buy yourself a new pair of pants. Your thinner self deserves it.

I saw the Zobha sale and was tempted. I like their Classic Racerbacks a lot but I have two and don't really need more. The problem with Zobha for me is that the chest tends too fit large and the tanks don't flare out enough at the bottom to accommodate my hips. Lululemon fits me much better. However, I do love love love Zobha's Lounge pant but those are not on sale. Boo.

OK girls, you talked me into it. I just ordered the zobha Grace tank in white with blue and whit stripped trip and the navy long leggings with roll waist in blue and white strip trim. Ordered my same LLL size. I get so tired of blk and gray leggins. Hope I love them!

Did you ladies buying Zobha today have issues with the web site? Ugh...it was agonizing!! It took forever to order 2 items, and by the time the system would let me complete my purchase, the tanks I REALLY wanted were sold out! :-(

I noticed that the site was tremendously slow in loading up the pages. I gave up on it and not order anything. Not sure on the fit plus I heard that they fit big on top. I small chested and not sure if I should size down.

Hi Anon 3:29,
Yes, it was so slow I almost gave up. I am small on top, as well, and I have previously ordered the same size as in Lulu tops, and they fit me fine. Also, I don't have a super tiny waist, so I didnt want the fabric over my belly and hips to be too tight if I sized down.
