Today's Upload - Lots of Surprises

Whisper Tank in Rocksteady
The Whisper is Cleavage-tastic!
Lots of new tanks uploaded today. All of them have been slightly altered from the original versions I used to buy. All have been made a couple of inches longer than the originals. They also have luon light bodies. They were originally made of regular weight luon which probably made them great for Canada but in the US it makes them a bit hot to use for year round workouts. I used to own three or four various Whisper tanks and of the three that were brought back today this is the one I like the best. The Whisper has a great feminine shape and reveals a sexy amount of cleavage without baring all. If you are worried about picking up MRSAs from weight benches at the gym or just don't want to bare your back I think this makes a great tank. Some people were saying they used to size up in this tank and now that I think about it I did, too. However, it's hard to say if you need to do that now since the design has been tweaked.

Wrap Tank
I have to go back a few years to remember trying on the Wrap Tank but I seem to remember the cross straps don't work so well if you are super busty. They didn't fall underneath my boob but kind of in the middle. I think making the body of the tank out of luon light is a major improvement because I found this tank also on the warm side. However, if you want a modest workout tank that stays in place and doesn't reveal all the Wrap Tank is a good option.

Deep V Tank in Rocksteady
I think it's safe to say the version of the Deep V that was brought back today was not the one most people were looking for. Most people liked the Athletic Deep V which doesn't have such an open neckline and has reinforced straps. This Deep V shows a lot of cleavage, even on the web model, so I can't imagine how I would look in it. I will pass on this one and hope the Athletic Deep V also makes a comeback.

The Deep V bra made a comeback today, too. I have four of these but rarely wear them. The cups aren't deep enough for me and give me a double boob effect.

The Dignity Halter is kind of cute but I am afraid the neck strap will bother me. This tank reminds me a lot of the Hip Halter tank which I tried to love but couldn't. The neck strap pulled on my neck something awful. The look of this new tank on the model doesn't do much for me.

The fact that the Warrior 1 Tank comes in luxtreme automatically means it gets a few extra points from me since I love that fabric. I am a bit bummed it doesn't go to a size twelve, though, so I'm thinking it won't be big enough in the chest. A few of you have written that having to adjust four bra straps is really irritating so I'll have to save this tank for a try on at the store. I can also see the plastic bits in the back being annoying when you lay down.

I didn't buy anything in today's upload but it looks like there are some new things hitting the stores that I will want to get - the new luxtreme CRB and the Weightless tank to name two. What did you all buy today?

I purchased my 2nd pair of Care Free Crops in Coal, the take flt vneck in grey and the take flt p/o in surge :)

Picked up a pair of Quick Step pants in Wren. I love, love, love my Studio Crops and think I might love these, too, so we'll see.

Also went ahead and grabbed a coal wee stripe Lucky Luon Headband that I'd added to my cart the other day but decided to wait on.

I missed the Warrior Tank, though, so I may head back to the site and look for it.

I didn't buy anything today. Yesterday in my store I got the DB in Royalty and Dewberry. I'm going to keep them in the closet and I'll see if any other luxtreme tanks come out that I like better.

I like the whisper tank and liked it when it was available before, but I don't know what I'd wear it for...for spinning, I'd give the instructor quite a show while bent over the bike. Running might be a disaster. I guess it would be good for just weights or yoga, but even so - you'd be giving the guys in the weight room quite a view ;)

I have the Athletic Deep V and like it, it was one of the first pieces I bought and I still have it. I do like that it's a little less cleavage-showing than the tank shown.

I love the hip halter but the neck strap is pulling my neck.

I have ordered the dignity halter in 3 colors... The strap issue should be resolved. We will see!

I agree about the athletic deep V. It looks more finished and sexy than the deep V.

I didn't buy anything - I am waiting for some new colors. Maybe next week.

I am pretty tempted by the warrier tank. It reminds me of the centered pose which I absolutely love! The adjustable part of the tank is what i love best. I am not a gazelle and I feel more covered since I can shorten the straps. The plastics bits have never bothered me in yoga, but they did a little bit at a Pilates class when I was doing the seal move.

Didn't order anything either. Loved the Hip Halter, but I think the tie knot on the back of my neck in the Dignity will bug me when I'm on my back. Tempted by the Warrior 1 but the four straps really bugged me with the Centered Pose, so I passed on that too. Maybe they'll upload the Black Space Dye WU and the Magnum Space Dye Power Y. That will be good!

Never liked the Wrap Tank. Makes me feel like an X-MEN team member! Wished it was the Althletic Deep V too... :(

Wow, what's with lulu making so many hussied up tanks? They've produced a bunch of really low cut impractical tanks over the last few months. The original Deep V was never THAT cleavage-tastic as the revised version. Is their target customer now the men in the weight room??

I agreed about the re-released tanks. I was very excited about the Deep V coming back because the original were put out before I had discovered Lulu. I was also happy to see that they added the extra length, but other than that I am not a fan. I don't like how open the neckline is nor how narrow the straps are over the shoulders, it doesn't even really look much like the original Deep V. It's a bummer. Hit and a miss....

Agreed completely about the cleavage-baring tanks. Bring back some Push Ur Limits, which I could actually work out in, rather than all the "Look at my boobs" tanks.

Don't get me wrong, I love the tanks and if it weren't for the deep necklines I'd have bought several. But it's all I can do to even lounge around the house in my Pranayama tank, let alone do yoga in it.

I'll just continue spending my Lulu money on pants and accessories and getting my tanks from another resource.

Yes Lulu, PLEASE bring back the ATHLETIC deep V. Also, I like the shorter length of the older version, so I am reserving comment on the extra 2 inches. I suppose I can always get it hemmed shorter if I don't like the new length so longer length is probably great overall since it'll accomodate other taller gals. I ordered a deep V to give it a try but I am not so sure it'll work out for me. I don't have any boobs to worry about flashing cleavage but I think the new cut won't look so good on us flat chested girls either. I don't think the deep V looks like the old deep V at all, it's really a new tank.

I have the wrap tank in white and still like it, but I doubt I'd get any more.
That deep V does not appeal to me at all; there's no way I'd wear that out of my house.
Yesterday I got the royalty space dye scoop neck, surge wee stripe CRB, be still in static coal (on sale yay) and wren in stride jacket (also on sale woot).
DYING for space dye wunder unders. They didn't have them yet though.

Am I the only one who LOVES the deep V that they brought back and NOT the athletic one? I bought the deep v tank in blue yesterday and the black deep v bra. I previously had one of the athletic deep v tanks and gave it away to a bustier friend. For those of us who don't have boobs, the current deep v makes it look like we do---YIPPEE for boobs!

I love the push Ur limits, but I would LOVE to see Inner Strength come back. That is one of my go-to tanks - LOVE it so much!

I totally agree with the "hussied up" tank comment. A hint of cleavage is fine but I don't want to be policing my chest when I am working out. It's a big distraction.

Do you guys think there is any chance they might be re-releasing something really awesome like the Gratitude wrap soon?

It is too hot to wear Luon in Canada too! 90 deg + humidity so we are not exactly igloo country.
