The Black Swan Gratitude Wrap looks very purpley in this photo. Not sure if I like it.
I've seen photos where the Gratitude Wrap looks really nice and others where it looks like this - a sack. I think it's a matter of not tightening the drawstring too much. This is the reason I didn't like it the first time it was out. I am going to try and order it when it comes out Thursday but I don't anticipate liking it anymore that I did the first time and if I can't get one, I can totally live with it.

Yeah, sometimes it looks like a sack; I agree. I look really bad in the Method Wrap so I'm not even going to try the Gratitude. Hey, it leaves more for others who really want it!
I agree - I think you have to be tall to look good for a start in this. The Savasana Wrap was overwhelming on me when I tried that on. I, too, will leave it for the lucky tall ones.
I picked up a Black Swan GW and it's sitting here beside me with the tags still on. I just can't decide if I love it or not. I tried the black one too, and was shocked how much better the black swan one is - I think the black is a little faded looking. This wrap would be GORGEOUS in Ghost... what are the chances?
Warning: I have skinny arms (stick-like) and the GW is really tight on my arms. No chance of layering under this unless you size up.
I am 5' 8" and am not sure I like where the GW hits me.....on the widest part of my hips! I have an old one size 4 and it looks okay with fuller pants but I have always wondered if sizing up would give me a better length in this top. I might have try again and trade in the old one.
Not sure why GEC would say it's not coming to US stores- I asked both of mine in the Chicagoland area- it's on the plan for both- I saw it on the plan- they told me yesterday it's coming, probably next week- very confused.
See, I think the GW looks really nice in all the photos. I love how it can be customized for temperature with the snaps, and when it's open all the way it hangs nicely.
@Canadian eh- I will buy the black swan GW from you!!! We haven't received them in the US yet. Waaah. I want one so badly. It's the best ever!!!
I think the look depends on if you size down or not...everyone seems to be saying "size down", I totally disagree. I say stay TTS, it is not meant to be tight and I find in alot of the pictures, the arms are pulled tight and the snaps are pulling in the front and then the bottom parts flows out like a bell...It is really a wrap you need to try on!
I am 5'3" 120lbs usually take 6 in everything lulu but I really don't want this to look like a sack on me... anyone have advice or a similar situation --- should I size down to a 4?? Thanks:)
I really do not understand what all the buzz is about with this - it hardly varies from all their other sack like wraps!
@anon 5:20am - I agree.
The line plan dependent on a couple of factors: If you are an "A","B", "C" (based on size and sales)...and if your store is in a "warm" (ie southern California) zone or "cold" (Illinois).
I feel like Lululemon needs to reconsider the sleeve proportions on all of its wraps-they are too tight! I hate the feeling and look of a too-tight sleeve over another top. Neither the 6 (tts for me) or 8 works and I blame the sleeves, not my (IMO) pretty nice arms.
Oh great, tight sleeves yet again! I never could wear anything with sleeves with my Savasana, which I sized down on.
Too bad, I was looking forward to the GW.
So apparently US stores aren't getting this. WHY NOT?????? So angry!!!
Hmmm- I'd love to know which store classifies as which.... I live near several stores in the DC area. I usually shop at our Clarendon, VA store. The people that work there are great. Super friendly, very helpful. I have never had anything but positive experiences. I recently went to the store in Georgetown. It was much bigger, and I was excited that they had more stock. But the people that worked there were super unpleasant from the get go-snippy and unhelpful, and it was three different Educators. I don't feel like filling the space here up with all the little things, but it was bad. I will never shop there again. I just don't need attitude when I ask someone if they carry something or if they can help with sizing. Shame, because they did offer more in terms of choices. I am now wondering how different stores might be. The Clarendon store has such positive energy, and the people working there could not do enough to help you get items right for your size and needs. I always thought that was Lulu culture.
the define jackets have tight sleeves too!
i wanted one for so long, but when i tried it on, i couldnt stand that the button stitching is visible on the front. ruins it for me completely.
