I thought we already had a Lululemon pant like this: The latin dance pant from a few years back... And I also recall those failed miserably...

Yeah, that's way too wide of a leg for me. I'd trip myself just walking in those for sure!
I can't see myself going to dance class in these - they are just too wide! I always end up wearing the boogie shorts for jazz and modern classes anyways. These are a mega pass for me.

I like them...worth a try on anyway. They look like the Waltz pant from the spring/summer, minus the fold down waist. The Waltz pant were luon light, these are probably normal thickness luon. If they are similar, I will probably pass as I have a pair of black Waltz pants. They are nice for casual wear, but useless for yoga or sports.
I have some wide leg pants like that... which was an odd purchase as I usually like almost a straight leg. Mine are Danskin and a really pretty drapey material, but the silhouette is exactly like this pant. It is so pretty with a sheer blouse and heels... I wore that outfit to like 3 holiday parties last year and I wear the pants all the time at home with a long camisole top when I want to kind of do the casual but pretty lounge thing. OK, I'll admit it, when I want to look sexy because it is a very sexy pant. I'm not sure how it would be in luon. But I have been wishing I had a second pair of the pants so I might check them out.
As far as fitness.... not sure about that, maybe dance? You almost need heels to wear the pants properly.
