LOVE that skirt! Cute with the make davey run crazy print on the black/red! What I really love are the pockets, though! I wonder what the back of the skirt looks like?
lots of people up here like the 'silly big' look of their mittens. Look at how ridiculously popular the red olympic mittens are. I don't really get it, but I think its kind of a 'Canadiana' thing like mounties, beavers and maple syrup. I knit a pair of slippers and a hat for my ex and his friends went nuts and I was told there was going to be a waiting list for them. I thought they were joking because it all looked a lot like those mitts but they were serious :-s.
Amanda, That's funny! I'm a Canadian, but I've been living in the US for about 8 years. And come to think of it, I DID want a pair of those huge red Olympic mitts when they came out... ;)
@Amanda- that's cute about the waiting list :) I saw these mittens and thought- no way! TOO big! The hicky hider on the other hand- while not my style sure looks functional. Which brought me back to the movement neckwarmer. If that thing goes in loot, I'm getting it!
To me the mittens look regular size! But then again, I'm Canadian...and own 3 pairs of the red Canada mitts. Hmmm... maybe I need to rethink my look! ha

I agree with anon 3:38...those mittens are silly big. Looks like something your granny knit for the church holiday bazaar.
And that oversize hoodie would guarantee you not to get a hickie in the first place, so I'm not sure why it's called the hickie hider or whatever!
