How does the sparkle scuba fit?
Also, what time do the new uploads hit the website?

Any idea what new colors the Essential Jacket will come in? I just saw a photo on FB of a light gray one? Would love this in P. Pink!

how much is the sparkle scuba??

sparkle hoodie is $108 & sparkes are threaded into the fabric...they are in US stores

What a terrible company with terrible values. Do some googling, and if you're still interested in representing the brand, I feel bad for you!

The Go for It Pant pulls at the crotch your pic shows this too,I also found it to be hot indoors.

Also Lululemon is upselling way too much these days the sales clerks are too pushy and not in a helpful way.

anon 1:17: Agree.

I don't see the sparkles...? Are they really subtle (like, non-existent)...?

Anonymous said...

Yes, how come the sales people are so pushy lately? I've asked them more than once if they're on commission, and they always say no. Maybe holiday bonuses for overall store sales?

The sparkles are obvious. Very pretty.

Since I have started buying lulu (~8 months ago) I havent noticed any color of wunder unders except black, coal, etc. Does lulu ever branch out and do some colored pants? I really would love some to mix it up!

I got the gray sparkle scuba today! I'd say it fits like any other scuba. And the sparkles are obvious in a pretty way - not a disco ball way. I love it. Adds a little extra to a gray hoodie.

There's also a heathered white sparkle scuba out. The lulu symbol is black.

Both are $108.

lulu sales people make group commissions. They don't make individual. But yes, they do get paid more when the store does well.

That is some logo on the hood!

I kinda agree on the sales peeps lately. I spent $180-ish this past weekend on two CRBs and a crop and they seemed disappointed. It was a showroom, and that is a pretty good sale for a lil showroom imo! I was making small talk as she was ringing me up and I felt like she could care less. I could too, actually, was just being polite since it was so quiet in there. I was the only customer during the hour I was there.

I went to Old Navy after and got a running jacket with thumbhole because Lulu's was too small in my arms but too big everywhere else. Loved it and it is my most worn item of everything so far! And I know those ON peeps probably make less but they all seemed in a good mood and were appropriate with answering questions and offering help when needed.

Anon 3:32pm: I was told that Paris Pink WUs and Plum WUs are coming soon!

I think that the Go For It pant makes it looks like the knees are on the sides of the legs with those big ole pockets.
I also wish lulu would make some colored wunder unders. And not reversible ones, just some regular ones. I would've loved black swan WUs.

Hi, I love this sparkle hoodie. My 11 yr old daughter, who is almost my size, has been begging for something Lululemon for months now. The sparkle hoody is perfect for a girl her age. I remember the gray sparkle and the light purple sparkle from last winter. When she started asking for a Lululemon item, I thought how fun one of these hoodies would have been for her. So happy they are here again. I snagged one today, size 4 fit great with room to grow--early Christmas present. Lol

Gosh I really do not like seeing children wearing lululemon...

Kristina said...

A few years ago when my baby brother was still in elementary school he told me that absolutely every girl in his class had at least one lululemon hoodie. Of course, I live where lululemon was started so I think its hard to find any girl who doesn't own at least one but I don't know if I could stomach spending over $100 on an article of clothing my daughter would outgrow within a year.

Kids wear Lulu all the time it is a real turn off for me. I agree with the comment Old Navy has good performance items. Also there is new yoga store In Canada (Westboro)that looks like Lululemon but for a fraction on the cost of Lululemon and just as nice, and most of all no pushy sales clerks.

Upload is up. No Currant define again. I'm losing hopes it'll ever show up online... Maybe I should just hunt it down elsewhere.

Hot N' Sweaty skirt in purple is not adding to shopping bag in any size. No one is online at this time for the chat, to report this technical issue. Hate that. I have to leave now and won't be able to do my purchase before.

Finally the ESD Scoop Neck is in!!!
Got one!

I was wondering what was up with the sales people. They asked if 18 yo Dd was my sister. Yes a compliment but really?? I accused them of trying to make more in commission.

Anonymous said...

Haha! Kids wearing Lululemon -- big deal! Who cares!

Anonymous said...

ugh im sorry but kids in lulu bugs me too!

Anonymous said...

@Anon 7:56, Thanks for the info! I would be so excited for some colored WU's!!!!

Anonymous said...

Confused- why does kids in lulu bother you???

You wear it all the time and you know how comfortable it is! Why does letting a kid have the same comfort both you? I can't comprehend these comments at all.

Anonymous said...

Yeah, I'm not getting why people care what strangers dress their kids in. It's not really anybody else's business is it? It's just a piece of clothing and if a kid can fit into the sizes and a parent can afford it why get upset about it?

I want to try the go for it pants, but they do kinda look funny by the side pockets. There might be too much going on there.

I think the reason ppl don't like seeing kids in Lulu is that no (example here, not the norm, don't get offended) say, 33 year old, successful, stylish, professional woman wants to walk down the street and see a 10 year old wearing the same jacket...
I'm guessing that that's why Ivivva was formed (since Lulu's "ideal customer" is who I described above)

Wish they will make re stock the apr├Ęs pullover and add more colors. Courant would be great

Anonymous said...

I feel the same about the fleece tops . The run fleece should get more couurent. . Hoohie is great on that

Anonymous said...

@ anon 3:31 PM
Completely agree. As a 33 year old (as of today!), that pretty much sums up my sentiments.

Anonymous said...

My kids wear lots of lulu and always have why shouldn't they have nice clothes? With 3 girls they share and pass so much around that it is actually not that expensive in the long run.

I question my lulu wearing when I see senior citizens wearing lulu, that is when I start to think I need a new store.

Anonymous said...

Kids wearing lulu is one of the reasons ivivva is around!

Anonymous said...

See I think its great when seniors wear lulu. It takes a lot of body confidence to wear groove pants at 70 but even though they may not look great on I still think those women are amazing. I hope I’m one of them.

Anonymous said...

I agree a 70 year old rocking a pair of grooves is awesome!! and yes I hope to be that person too. I was more thinking the 70 year old in the g'ma jeans and a scuba hoodie, is different than the fashion statement the I hope to pull off.

Truth is anyone who has the $108 to lay down can purchase the hoodie and put it on who ever they want.

Anonymous said...

Aww, my grandma does that but she just loves the bright colour of the scubas. She only has one and the rest of her clothes come from Lands End generally.

I tried the Go For It pants and the lining and waist band are soft and cozy, but the pockets just stick out too much -- so I passed on them.

Anonymous said...

I tried the Go For It pants on today and I didn't think the pockets stuck out that much at all. The waistband and lining are super soft. I didn't have the pulling at the crotch either like that pic, but I did have the little fabric bubble below the waistband over the butt. The length fit me perfectly for once and I'm 5'6" so they may be too short for taller peeps. I wore my usual size 6 and the saleswoman said they are running true to size.

Anonymous said...

anon 6:33 Some senior citizens look better and have better bodies than some fat teenagers rocking Lulu. When I see a 7 yr old wearing Lulu I just think spoiled.

I would like to get my niece a sparkle scuba hoodie for christmas-she is 10 years old and a size 14-16 in girls or M in misses Aeropostale hoodies, etc.). I am not sure what size lulu hoodie to get--6?? Or maybe a 4?? Anyone who has bought one of these for kids, if you could help I would appreciate it!
Thanks xx

Anon @ 11:05, definitely buy her only a 2 or a 4 (XXS or XS). 10 year olds generally fit into size 2 best. If she prefers things looser or she's not so petite, a 4 might be good so that she can grow into it.
