For some reason most of the photos I found of the new Run: Turn Around down-filled jacket were of the Black Swan version. Now that I see more photos of this jacket, I don't like it nearly as well as the other jacket. I think the quilted side is the cute side but the shoulder is a bit mucked-up with the extra pleats.

I know these are just model shots and they're trying to show off as much new product in one picture as possible, but they still bother me because I just can't imagine a temperature where you would be comfortable in a coat that heavy on top but be fine with Inspire crops on bottom.
i just bought this jacket in black swan. it is super light and thin...maybe 100g? looks much better in person & flattering. i thought it is better value for the $ vs vest. vest is nice, too. the other jacket-po looks like michelin tire character to mee.
Poster above-- do u find it's warm enough despite being light? Or do u think micheline man may be warmer?
This jacket looks like it's fits very tight, as if you could only fit a tank underneath....
runbum3: it is warm for sub 0 if you run - it is very thin and is not as puffy as on pic. mitheline man style has a knight style cover - only front and back. looks odd to me and unpractical. i went size up to layer it. I go up in lulu tops'jackets due to muscular arms and c/d upper.
I just don't know how practical this is for running. I trained all winter last year in Chicago and got away with a thicker technical fleece jacket with layers underneath. Though my body temperature gets warm fast.
Looks warm though for maybe everyday use.
how much is the jacket? thanks!
i bought for everyday use to-from etc. i think for running will be too warm. it is $198 cad. i will wait and see if this goes on sale on boxing day if it lasts.
