Photos - White Coal Tinted Canvas Scuba

Hmmm, the first real life White Coal Tinted Canvas Super print Scuba hoodie photo. It does look a bit like a gray camo print, as my friend called it when I ordered from my phone during our breakfast together this morning. I'm glad to see it doesn't have too much white on it. I can't wait to see more photos to see how the print varies from hoodie to hoodie.

the more i see this print the more i like it!!!

sadly my order for the pink turn around never went through. i did get my order it an 7am EST so i thought i would be in the clear...however, the receipt they sent back to me shows the amount of my shopping total, but no items are listed. I take it they don't know what i ordered?

no one has contacted me regarding the website error. I place a 2nd order soon after for the turn around in a different color and have already received a shipping notice from them.

sadly this won't be the first time I have problems with their website. last month i placed an order for 5 things...a week went by without a word from LLL...finally the following week i got a message saying my order was completely canceled. I called immediately hoping it wasn't my credit card. Nope...not my credit card...they had oversold 1 item on my order and went ahead and canceled the whole order as a result.

whomever i dealt with wasn't overly willing to help me out as a customer...only said...well...go back to the website and place a new order and hopefully everything will be in stock. needless to say other items from my original order were no longer available and i was seriously bummed.

i sent an email about my experience and the response back wasn't...here's a coupon code for 10% one time deal...we are so sorry....or whatever...it was simply a too bad, there's nothing we can do. laters!

i thought their customer service was atrocious even though the mistakes all happened on their end due to their poor website. anyway...sorry for the long rant...for a company like this, their website really should be top of the line....jumping off my box now...lol...

The pink Turnaround ls bleeds like crazy it took 5 separate washes in cold water to get the dye out, and a Lululemon sales rep says their Paris Pink stuff does not bleed!

@mimi_yogi Sorry about the trouble of your orders. To avoid a complete cancellation of my order when one of the items is oversold, I usually oder all my items separately. I know it's a pain, but the extra trouble is worth it. If one of the items is unavailable after my order was made, only that item is cancelled, since it is the ONLY item on that particular order. I too, have been a victim of missing out on all the goodies that I picked out due to one item that went out of stock.

In regards to the Tinted Canvas Scuba. I hope my print distribution will look better than this one. It really looks like a camo print in this picture, and I do not like camo print. Never noticed it before or I would not have ordered it. I was just too excited that it was uploaded and really love the Tinted Canvas in the "small installment" on my Hot N Sweaty tank. Well see when it arrives....

yogibabe: does that happen all the time? I've had an order where one item turned out not to be available when they processed it and lulu actually called me to say that it wouldn't be on my order but I still ended up having my other items shipped without issue. Maybe I was lucky?

My pink turn around order says its still processing so it may not have gone through either :(

I have read many times of an entire order being cancelled when using Paypal because of one item being out of stock but not with a credit card. I agree with Yogibabe. Order everything separately.

I, too, ordered this hoody and I hope the pattern placement looks better than this one. I liked the one on the website but I know with ordering patterns online, a person is just taking a chance with what will be sent.

@Kristina & LLA: It happened to me once with Paypal and once with credit card. The one with credit card was cancelled and then re-ordered to complete the sale of the remaining items that were available. But by doing so, I still have two "pending holds" on my credit card, until one is released a few days later. If it was a smallish amount, it would not have mattered so much, but this was over $500.00. Thank goodness my CC was okay and it went through, but it could have gone south easily, as I always choose to use a CC that I purposely kept at a small limit , for online transactions. (Overly cautious, I know...but feel better this way.) The Paypal one was completely cancelled, period. So, now I do my separate orders...

Anyone who still has pending orders for their pink turn around, if you call or go on the live chat the educators can tell you whether the warning message is coming up for your order over whether you missed out due to their website malfunctions. I (fingers crossed) don’t have this message so mine is hopefully going to be shipped out today!

I always separate my orders too. They screw up way too much so it's just like a safety net to make sure your whole order isn't lost. If they got their shit together they'd probably save a lot in all the shipping costs to send out my items separately all the time.

I nearly always separate my orders, too. Since Lulu provides free shipping on orders of any size, it's just what I've always done.

Agreed on all the comments on the Tinted Canvas scuba. If I'd seen this particular print distribution here, I wouldn't have ordered it, and Tinted Canvas is one of my favorite prints!

I don't mind camo print that much, but I don't really want it on my lulu items (though I did actually like the deep camo print from back in the summer).

If I wanted to wear snowy camo real-tree print, I could find it a lot cheaper at Bass Pro Shops or Military Surplus. :P Oh well, we'll see what it looks like on.

I too had two orders -within the same week!- in which one item was out-of-stock and they "just realised it when the warehouse went to pack it".
It sounded to me as if the people in their warehouse are the ones who actually keep track of their inventory (as opposed to their computer system), in the oldest fashion of it all: It is out-of-stock when we just don't find one more in stock. Incredible that such a thing happens with a company like this, which has such big expansion plans. They should put the house in order before they venture into other markets.

Back to my orders, both were using Paypal, and only one got cancelled because the item that they said was no longer available, happened to be the only one on this particular order. Lucky me, because a couple of days later, I found it almost half its price on the WMTM section (from $200 to $130!) Same colour, same size as in my order! So I was actually glad the original order had been cancelled! I ordered it and this time received it.
The second one had 2 items and one was sold out. They emailed me asking me to call them to find an "alternative". I was still upset for the cancellation of the other order, just a day or two before, so I emailed them back and told them I wasn't going to call them and that they could proceed as they pleased, I didn't care.

Well, they shipped the other item in the order and adjusted the charge on my Paypal. I again found the "sold out" item in stock within a week. Ordered it and received it too.

After that, I got a gift card for $20, although I didn't ask for it.But thought it was nice.

Ordering individual items works only when you get free shipping. It costs $30 dollars for each int'l order, even if you just order a headband in markdown for $9.

Just got my tinted canvas scuba and oh my goodness it is so soft and the pattern looks pretty good. I wasn't sure I was going to love it as not really a big fan of the other tinted canvas pieces...but I do!!! Yay!

I talked to a lulu store educator and they said that usually everything is pre-washed to avoid the dye issues and they are trying to figure out where the mis-step happened with the Paris Pink. They will damage anything that bleeds and replace it - though unless they have fixed the issue on the newer items not sure how that helps. : )
