Randomness

Toothpaste and Surge look great together. Toothpaste Define and Surge Deep Breath

I was scoping the Lab's Facebook site to find some items in Poppy Red to show because I hear there will be a CRB coming in it (heard it's more true red than Tango - yes!) and I found these cool looking Wunder Unders:

I love the slate green color and the bleached areas. Check out the Lab's website. I love the product photos  - the Lab has a great photographer and model. Why don't they use this duo for the website?

Photo of the new Wren Bliss Tank

Not the best photo but this gives you an idea of the color of the new Bliss Tank in Wren.

Spirit Tank and matching Inspire crops in Toothpaste

The Surge Define looks cute the Surge Watefall print Paradise shorts.

After seeing a bunch of photos, I think the short Paradise shorts are much cuter than the long ones.

Look how stylish she is - stand up paddle boarding in her Luluemon rash guard and board shorts.

The Hot Yoga Hobo bag on a real person. The dimensions are 15"x13.5"x9".

The elusive Wren Sing Floss Travel Jacket. Lots of people want this one.

Spirit tank and Willpower skirt. I think that's a 50 Rep bra underneath. I heard the educators at my store talking that they are supposed to show this tank with a bra other than the Energy to people. Not exactly sure why since the Energy looks stinking cute with it. I tried it on with one of my All Sports but the contrast between the straps styles was a bit jarring. The All Sport is all business and the pleats in the Spirit needs the femininity of the Energy bra.

Pink Mist Space Dye Power Y. If there weren't a million other things I'd like to get this month, I would put this on my wish list, too.

The Strength and Tone shorts look good on this gril

Pink Mist Pranayama tank and Tinted Canvas Willpower skirt - she looks so cute!

The new Technique Polo for the men but who really cares about the shirt? I wish this guy worked at my store!

Camo Wunder Unders - Mini Review (Update)

I got to see the Camo Wunders today. They are polyester, like all of Lulu's prints lately, and have a bit of a sheen. I didn't try them on but I just saw a review that they are see-through if you bend over. The lady tried her size and the next one up and the same thing happened - so be aware if you get them.

Update - Some ladies posted some photos of themselves bending to show how sheer the Camo WUs get - it's not that bad.
Illustrating extreme stretch on the Camo WUs

A nice lady from the TJI board took one for the team to post photos showing how sheer the camo WUs get when stretched. She said about this photo: "...the knee area looks sheer like a thick panty hose. And the sheen on my left leg - this us as bad as it gets. This is fluorescent lighting, 1 inch from the mirror. From 2 feet away, they almost look solid black." Anyway, from what I am reading, people are still getting them even though they get a bit sheer when stretched. I've seen a few photos of people's rears bent over in them and I couldn't see a thing. However, the same woman posted "Pretty see through - not anymore than a luxtreme running crop though. Reminds me of thick panty hose. But it's camouflage...so it's camouflaged."

Today's Shopping Trip - Spirit Tank and Dhanurasana Crops

I got word last night that the South Coast Plaza store received the new Spirit Tank so I shlepped my rear down there today yet again. That makes four trips in five days. I really hope no more new stuff comes into the store for another week.  ;-)

I am a big fan of luxtreme tanks for the warmer months. I like the light silky feel against my skin and they breath so well. When the temp hits the upper 90s I switch to wearing my luxtreme tanks around the house.  I also like tanks that you can wear your own bra underneath, too, since I often add another bra for higher impact activities. When I saw the new dip dye Spirit tank I was pretty sure I would buy it since I love ombre color fades. I tried all three colors on but I ended up going home with the dip dye version. I might go back and get the black with Heathered Black because that was very pretty, too, but first I want to give the tank a spin at the gym to make sure I keep cool enough in it since it has a rather high neckline and back. I thought the tank fit true to size (for comparison, I thought last year's Pep Tank was on the big side) with a flattering curve-skimming fit and I was very surprised the shoulder straps did not fall off my narrow shoulders. That is usually what happened with the last few scoop back tanks Lululemon has put out, like the Pep Tank. Because the back doesn't dip down as low as the Pep Tank, the straps stay in place better.

Pep Tank from last summer
I wore my Champion Powerback bra which looked ok but I also tried the tank on with the Energy bra. It looked super cute that way. The front part of this tank comes up fairly high so you will not show any cleavage. However, if you press your arms together the front does pop open a little but the neckline is so high it doesn't reveal that much. (I will have to caveat this a little in that I think I am fairly long between the shoulders and the top of the breast so it might dip a bit lower on other people but it's still a very modest neckline). The armholes come up high so there is no worries about exposed pit fat.

The tank also hugged my bust (36DD) but wasn't super tight so I definitely think this tank was designed for bustier women in mind.
One cute detail about the dip dye version is that the stitching becomes contrast stitching in the darker part of the tank. You can see that around the ipod pocket, down the middle of the back, and around the bottom hem. This tank has the lulu symbol in a rather discreet place, is not a racer back, and will fully cover your bra so it doesn't scream athletic wear to me. For these reasons, I think I will give this tank a lot of use this summer as a casual wear tank.

Donna Karan 35137 Sports Bra
When I got home, I tried the tank on with my Donna Karan 35137 sports bra, my favorite non-racerback underwire sports bra. The DK bra comes up really high in the front so I often only use it for wearing under Swiftly tees but the Spirit just covered it. The front straps of the bra are a bit wide for the tank so they do show. I may be able to live with this but I might need to get a black DK.

Moving Comfort Fiona
I know many of you ladies like the Moving Comfort Fiona bra. I think the Spirit Tank would work well with this bra, too.

While I was at the store I saw that the new Dhanurasana crops went to a twelve so I took the opportunity to try them on. I thought they fit similar to Wunder Under crops except a bit shorter. The store only had the heathered blurred gray ones which I wouldn't consider - I'm mostly a black pant type for the gym - but they are supposed to get the black ones soon. I think the price on these was $78.

My store also received the new camo wunder under crops. They are cute and I think I prefer the black camo  a little better to the wren but wren would go with my wren CRB. The camo print is one of those high polyester content prints and has a bit of a sheen. The store also got the Bliss tanks in.

More Product Notice Pics & Info

Wren Camo print
Black Camo print
There are new Wunder Crops and pants in camo print. There are two flavors of the print: Retro Camo/Wren and Retro Camo/black. They are hitting US stores now so if you want them, call your stores and grab a pair.

The Bliss tank is coming in a Sand Dune Heathered Wren Wee Stripe/Wren version. The stripe is the same as the new Scoop Neck I saw in the store yesterday.

The Layer Me bra is back in black, Toothpaste and Pink Microstripe. The bra comes in sizes 4-10 and is made of luxtreme.

The Savasana Wrap now comes in Heathered Deep Navy. Although I don't love Navy workout clothes, I think Lulu is missing out by not producing more jackets in Navy so people can match them with their jeans. I would love a Navy Scuba or Sing Floss Travel Jacket.

The long-anticipated Wren Sing Floss Travel Jacket is finally hitting US stores. Love this color!

Photos of the Latest - Camo Wunder Unders, Will Power Skirt, and More

Camo Wunder Unders. Check out the hidden lulu symbols in the design. From one of the boards - a woman was told today that there are two camo items coming to stores. We know one is the Wunder Unders. I have an extra long CRB from the Lab that is in camo. Maybe lulu is releasing camo CRBs, too.

Strength and Tone short. These are made of light luon. I don't think they are particularly attractive in this photo but I bet they are super comfortable. Light luon is very soft, especially in the blurred gray or heathered coal or whatever this color is. I bet they would make great jammy shorts.

Paradise Long Short.

Run The Fastest in Toothpaste. I really liked these when I tried them on and they are getting good reviews on the website.

Run: Willpower Skirt in Tinted Canvas. I like the skirts with a bit of flounce - very feminine and sassy!

Cute combo of the Heathered Sand Dune Scoop Neck and Do It All Shorts.

A rather goofy look on the bottom, but a Toothpaste and Black (or Coal?) Scoop Neck Tank and the Surge Pranayama tank with the Paradise Long shorts.
