More Photos of the Run: Take Flight Vest

I was out of the house all day yesterday so I missed this initially but the Short Pump (I know, weird) store posted lots of photos of the new Run: Take Flight Vest:

Honestly, now that I see close ups of it, I don't like it nearly as much. Maybe it's better in person.

NEW! Heathered Black Define and Run: Take Flight Vest

A couple of new items have popped up in the stores lately. The top is the Run: Take Flight Vest. I like the front a lot from this photo (thanks, Michelle). $98 is a bit steep for a vest considering you can get an entire jacket for not much more. The styling is visually interesting and if it has a rear zip pocket, I might consider ponying up the big dollars for it.

There is also a new Define in Heathered Black. I've got to say I love these new neutrals in the Defines. I've tried on a solid Black Define a few times but found it much too plain. However, I love my Heathered Blurred Gray Define and have been choosing it a lot lately.

Hoodies Made of Gold?

Big news on the boards is that Lululemon is rasising Scuba hoodie prices by $10 to $108 for solid colored Scubas, striped ones will be $128, and the special edition ones will be $148-160. And, get this, some of the hoodies currently in the stores have been repriced - see the photos below for proof - which is utterly ballsy on Lululemon's part. The website has not yet been updated so hurry up and get your hoodies now before they all go up. This is patently ridiculous. I know the hoodies are hugely popular in Canada and I like the two hoodies I have now but I can count on one hand how many people I have spotted wearing them outside of a gym here in Southern California. Good luck with this plan, Lululemon. Since you are now in the same price neighborhood, I think I'll start buying Ever, Arc'teryx, or North Face.
