Photos of the Latest: Graceful Flow, Power Ys, Brisk Earwarmer, and More

A rare photo of the black Graceful Flow tank.

Another photo of the Wild Lime Scuba. It's supposed to be heathered Wild Lime/Wild Lime.

Pigment Blue Energy Bra - my favorite

A blonde model for a change.

The caption said this Scuba was Flash. I am not sure if there really are two new scubas, bon bon and flash, or just one.

I love this woman's coloring and she fills out a Power Y really nicely. If you are curvy, the Power Y is a great choice.

The Bang Buster looks super wide. I have to say my wide Mesh headwraps aren't my favorite. They tend to hang off the back of my head. Maybe you can play with this and scrunch it up.

A reader (thank you Ms. R) sent me this article showing a new lulu Brisk Run Earwarmer.

Do u know how much the new head wrap is?

Ooh, what's that scarf near the bottom? Something new, or old and unattainable? I'm not nuts about the Infinity scarves, but I like the grey color and I bet it's super soft.

That Energy bra is how my back looked when I tried my regular size. I had to size up so my back flab wouldn't spill over all the edges. But sizing up you lose the support in front. Then it's just about looks. Sigh. I do like the criss-cross straps.

But a warning -- I think that pigment fabric is thigh tear than normal. I tried it in a tata tamer and had to size up from the TTT that I'd bought the week before. Ditto for the pigment blue Define.

"thigh tear" - ha ha. That's spell check getting hold of "tighter."

The woman with arms upstretched appears to be wearing a Flash scoopneck, rather than a Power Y? Viewing on my phone-can't be certain.

Can't WAIT for that earwarmer!!!

Anonymous said...

I'm sorry but if you can see the outline of your rib cage and pants through the shirt then clearly that shirt is too tight.

Anonymous said...

Agree anon 6:43pm!

Anonymous said...

ah... Anonymuous 5:16pm... it's not back flab (energy bra pigment blue)... it's called lats !

Anonymous said...

New infinity or vinyasa scarf color?

Anonymous said...

Anon 6:43,
Exactly! Looks WAY too tight and I couldn't imagine working out in it.

Anonymous said...

Anon 5:15 . . . if your lats are tight then they wouldn't "spill over" the bra. that's called back flab right there.

Anonymous said...

Yikes there are some critical comments on here today!

Alana said...

Actually, anon 5:15 is correct. Check out the womens bras on verveclimbing.com. Climbers have notoriously ripped lats and they appear to hang over bras but that is really just the shape of muscley lats. You could not say the ladies in the photos at verve have "back flab" but in bras they have that look bc their lats are so developed.

Anonymous said...

I agree with you Alana. Wide developed lats do not equal back fat

Anonymous said...

Let's be honest and admit the lady in the Energy Bra does not exactly look like the climber type from the front either. Climbers do have developed lats (and chest/arms) very much like swimmers, but what we see on her picture here, it's something that I would not exactly call "developed muscle"

The Bon Bon Scuba is SUPER CUTE!!! And the flash swiftly is fantastikc coral. Wished I had held off on the Paris Pink swiftly...

To Anon 5:10 PM, that's the Vinyasa Scarf in black mini check (piqué like) released last year. I have it and yes, it is super soft.

The beautfiul brunette in the power Y's has an awesome shape and doesn't have an inch of fat on her waist. But I really don't like how you can see the lines of the pants and maybe her belly button through the tank. However if she sized up it would not fit her well up top. This is the very reason I don't wear this tank in solid colors though I love the simpleness of it. Prints seem to be a little better, you cannot see lines.

Reality check...real women work in lulu stores and not everyone has a rock solid bod...but that's what I love about the photos these stores use because real women shop at lulu...and it's nice to see all shapes and sizes so that you can see what shapes might work for you and your problem areas...I think the Chickies in these photos look great and as someone who's been on this site in photographs multiple times I can't imagine reading snarky comments about what's wrong with my body on here...it may not have been the initial intent but it could be taken that way...keep it about the clothes peeps..isn't that why we love this site? Thx.

Momna- the bang buster is $14. I just. Ought one at my store Thursday. Love that you can scrunch it to make it smaller or leave it wider. Wore to a boxing class Friday and it stayed put. It will also be good when I need to get my hair colored to hide those grays and roots!!!

Does anyone know if the Tadasana Pants fit TTS? Or if there's a difference in fit among the different colours available? Thanks! :)

Momna said...

It doesn't slip? Im thinking of getting one to use during yoga...thanks for sharing

Anonymous said...

anon 7:31 am - i have tadasana pants from last year and bought crop version this year - both tts.

Jennyloowhoo you could not have said it better. I am so sick of all these critical comments about people's body type. C'mon, we are all different! That's the beauty of life. Who care if you can see someone's pant outline, who care what a bra looks like on someone? Like really! So she sizes up in the bra and has no support in front? Would you prefer that? She has a beautiful body. The comments are ridiculous and all these ladies have perfect bodies whether they are 2's, 8's, or 12's. Stop with the critical comments!

I bought th Bon Bon scuba & I love everything about it!! It's not stiff at all!! In fact it's soft like my Snowy Owl scuba!! The color is amazing!! It's a little pinker than the Flash color too!. I can't wait to wear it out!!! So pretty!!!

Yes..that is the Vinyasa Scarf--Gave it to my GF for Xmas. It is lovely and I want one now too!

C-R-A-Z-Y comments on the Energy Bra!

Anonymous said...

Seriously will everyone stop making comments about women's bodies and if they size up or down. Just keep those comments to yourself... How old are we here? It's embarrassing to see grown women hide behind "anonymous" names and comment on other women's bodies. Please grow up, and if you appreciate this blog at all then you'd be wise to shut up unless you have something nice to say. Otherwise, no women are going to want to model the new gear at all! I'm just grateful to be able to see the clothes regardless of who models them.

Wow what lengths to 'prove' it's flab and not muscle. Sheesh just feel blessed that you were born with or have worked hard for your perfect body and stop trashing on other women who are not a size 0 AND are brave enough to have their photo posted so we can see how a product fits. I love seein the different sizes and shapes so I can forecast how something might look on me. Go to the lame retail site if you want to make sure you see the perfect models in the clothing.

@ Anon 1:48 pm: ohh...I want a Bon Bon scuba! I also have the snowy owl and love how soft it is! I def. don't "need" another scuba, but I don't have any colours similar to the Bon Bon.

Anonymous said...

I agree with Lisa !

If you don't have something nice to say don't say it !

The woman in the pigment blue energy bra looks just fine to me !

I REALLY appreciate all the ladies who put themselves out there and allow themselves to be photographed so that we can see the clothes!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!! Please do not be bothered by others' comments about how you size clothes or other critiques. People who do that tend to suffer from their own insecurities. In other words, it's not you, it's them. Far more of us think no such thing, and not only do you look great, but you do a service for us addicts.

Will there be a Wild Lime in Scoop Neck and Cross my Heart tanks?

Anonymous said...

I wore it during a kickboxing class yesterday and it didn't budge...all other lulu headbands slide off my head but this stayed put...and it has circle mesh so it sucked up my sweat too...I had to wring it out before I put it in my bag...fantastic item...it's a must have!

Anonymous said...

Well said! Couldn't agree with you more.:)

I thought we weren't supposed to comment on the model's body types on here (or is that the other blog). Anyway, I completely understand that it affects the fit of the clothing and we are all here trying to figure out the best fit for our bodies. On the flip side, it's extremely rude, disrespectful, and inconsiderate to comment on other people's body types. Everyone is different and some people have muscle or fat in places that other people don't. If you have a problem, get off your butt, go in a store, and try it on yourself. If you don't have a store, order it, try it on, and send it back if need be, but be respectful of other people's bodies. It takes a brave soul to show off your body.

The new headband cost $14 each.

I want to apologize for triggering a debate about the body type of one of the ladies in the photos above (post 5:16). That was not my intent in my post, but my poor word choice came out as unkind rather than helpful re: that clothing item and my experience that I need to size up in it.

The person in the photo is lovely and radiant and obviously fit. And I, like other Lulu addicts, am immensely appreciative to those who post photos of themselves in Lulu items that Lulu Addict can share with us -- particularly people who are taller, shorter, more muscular, thinner or curvier than the models often shown on the Lulu site.

I have tried on many Lulu items that don't work for my body at all and items that are flattering. And this blog helps me tremendously in knowing what to pursue. So...to my fellow addicts, and particularly to the person in the photo, I offer my heartfelt apology.

And to Lulu Addict, would you mind deleting my original post -- and, if possible, those responding to it -- so the person in the photo does not have to come across this conversation (or, if she's seen it, will have some relief that it's erased)? I know some people don't believe in deleting blog comments, but I think in this case it's the best approach, in order to keep the photos -- and the positive energy -- flowing.

(I'm being vague about which clothing item it is so that this apology can stand, but without reference to what triggered the conversation)

Q - What shorts is the gal with the lime CRB and flash define wearing? Are those turbos?

Anonymous said...

Does anyone know if there are both flash and bon bon scubas? Just wondering if I should wait out for flash to be uploaded or grab a bon bon. Thanks!

Anonymous said...

Gec confirmed there is only a Bon Bon scuba
