Photos - Pig Cabin LS, Pig Power Y, Destined for Greatness and More

The Pig Pink Striped Cabin long sleeve top. Very cute but too bad it wasn't solid pig on the reverse side.

The Pig Pink Power Y is very pretty. However, make sure you don't get cups with dimples in them, this light color will reveal all.

Pigment Blue lively crewneck tee. I love my two Lively crewneck tees but I prefer the ones with a print or pattern/small stripe on them. I cannot wait to get another one.

New Silver Spoon striped pique Define jacket.

A good photo of the pig pink striped In Stride Jacket.

The Silver Spoon No Limit and Pigment Blue Wunder Under Pants.

I can't wait to get the Silver Spoon pique Define jacket! Now that x-mas is over, I can finally shop for MYSELF. I missed out on the herringbone pique and in stride a month or so ago.

I just got my It's Happening Jacket in the mail and as I suspected it has to go back. Holy Moley the arms are TIGHT! even the cuffins felt tight. Very cute though. The Silver Spoon pique define might work instead...

I find the arms are VERY tight on the Stay on course pullover too! WTF LULU?????????

LLA you are right on with the color of the cabin LS. I cannot understand why they all reverse to grey. I just got this pig pink one in the mail today and having gray underneath makes the light colors on the striped side look very dull. You can see the gray thru. If it reversed to pig pink I would for sure keep it, but in this case it is going back.

I am bored with current offerings.. seems like they are pedalling the same crap for weeks now.

i don't want to sound mean but it makes me cringe everytime I see educators/models, wear clothes that are a bit tight.

@8:54 I totally agree! I feel like most people say TTS to everything because they don't care how tight it actually is, when I will go up a size so that you don't see every bump on my body. Even the super skinny people have imperfections and I don't think wearing something so tight to outline them is attractive.

These tops would be so much more flattering if these girls had have sized up. It's nice to see average sized ladies model the clothing, but not to sound overly superficial, but I wouldn't want my photo on the web showing my back fat - I'd feel really self conscious!

i agree with all of you - who could look at themselves in the mirror and say - yes i think this is the right top for me. If the next size up doesn't look right, and the current size looks like "the girl in pink," then the power Y is NOT FOR YOU.

I got the cabin ls, but not sure I love it. I think these stripes may wear out their welcome quickly....I feel like I would wear these items a few times and be over it.

You know what? I'm pretty skinny and the Power Y's just aren't as flattering as they used to be. They are starting to fit a bit funky. Has anyone else noticed that they are using an inferior material?

The cabinlscomes in solid Pigment Blue, and the Lively tee comes in Pigment Blue striped and Pig Pink stripe. The striped In Stride is very long, too long for a short person.

Sarah, yes! I have noticed! I wear a 4 or 6 in tanks and I am the same size, shape, etc as I was my first y tank. The material tends to bulge on my breasts under my arms, the seams "pull" even if I size up (do I know it's not that). I believe they have changed the cut slightly or are using cheaper materials. I have felt for a while now that since they stopped making everything in Canada and they got more popular the quality has changed. I have an early pair of grooves and they just feel different. They feel heavier (but not thicker, know what I mean???), they feel more solidly made.

@ Tite Melan: I agree, the cuffs/wrist openings are super tight on the Stay on Course PO. I tried it on and nearly tore my bracelet off!

anon 3:10 - the materials of the grooves have most DEFINITELY changed. if lulu says otherwise, they are flat out lying. i have grooves from 3+ years ago that are definitely more solid feeling than the current grooves. The power Y is not always flattering , i feel like the Scoop Neck is much more universally flattering.

Sometimes you have to size up in the lighter colors like Pig Pink. They tend to reveal so much more. That is one reason I passed on the Pig CRB.

Re: fabrics - Lulu gets their luon from a couple of different factories. My rule of thumb is that if it doesn't feel like brushed cotton, then I don't get it. Sometimes I try on bottoms and I hate the feel of the luon so I don't get them. (e.g. Astros & relaxed fit pants seem to always feel nasty and thin) I've bought a couple of pairs of Groove pants over the summer that I thought felt like "old" luon (the heathered blurred gray/tinted canvas batch) and they have worn well but it seems you have to go on a color band by color band basis. Let your fingers and skin be your guide.

I've noticed that because of stripes or heathering, tanks (and bottoms) will feel different. The heathered pig pink is super soft but heathered coal was not. I don't mind the polyester print Power Ys at all - in fact I prefer them. They seem to breathe better than the normal luon to me. However, I know a lot of people don't like the high polyester content fabrics.
