Love this!! Definitely will be getting it when it hits my local store.

Love it! Reminds me a lot of the heathered flash CRB though.

I agree! Would love to se color comparisons with heathered flash and heathered dazzling

I have a static alarming tank. It looks quite similar...

This shall be mine!!!! (evil, maniacal laughter). Wish they brought the ebb and flow crops back in indigo. Ok, now I know I mention bleeding every few posts- I guess I just can't get over people who had some really bad experiences with other items getting ruined- but what fabrics in PP bled? Didn't some more so than others? Rulu, luon? If anyone knows, I'd love the info. I plan to avoid those fabrics in brights until I know the quality issue is back up.

pretty although I wonder how close it is to heathered alarming as well. Looking forward to the new palette!

I like it, but the first thing I thought was "great, here goes another bleeding issue." Let's hope it's actually fixed this time!

MonkeyGirl, FWIW:

I have several PP items and haven't had an issue with any of them.

I have a Define in heathered PP (so from the "first" PP run) and had absolutely no bleeding issues with it. I washed it in cold water by itself and hung it to dry before use, as per the lulu instructions. I run in it quite frequently with white or light colored tops layered underneath with no issue.

I also have a pair of Astro WU crops with PP and heathered PP on the band. Once again, I washed them in cold water before wearing them. My first real athletic use (i.e. not lounging around the house :) ) was wearing them to a vinyasa class with a pink mist CRB. I had no bleeding problems with the dye getting onto the lighter colored tank or onto my skin-even in that extremely hot and sweaty environment!

Finally, I have a PP ebb & flow sports bra. Same as above. Pre-washed and wore with no issue.

Hope that helps!

I am in love w/ this color. This is a must have for me!

Finally!! Colors I hate!! :) giving my wallet a much needed break!

I already have alarming so i might have to pass on this.

I was really worried about the PP bleeding issues everyone had. I bought the Cross My Heart tank (which i LOVE by the way.) I prewashed it alone, and have NOT have any bleeding issues while using it for hot yoga, running, or even throwig it in the wash with other items.

Thanks, anon 10:51! Definitely a help :)

MonkeyGirl- Did you ever get the paris pink pullover? Still on the fence and wondering if you decided to go for it.

Thanks!

@Anon 12:10-I did get it! And I love it, BUT it was a little snug in the shoulders. I know others have had that issue too (my shoulders are not broad). I ordered a size up to compare, but I think sizing up will make it too big and billowy. I plan on keeping the smaller size even with the snug shoulders if it comes to that. I think it's super functional, and I like it both down (I like covering my bottom) and cinched. It is super light weight and the hood seems like it will protect from the rain and stay up (there's a pony tail slit in it too). Because I might return, I haven't tested it out, but it seems well vented and I trust I won't overheat in it.

I haven't had any bleeding issues either. I prewashed in cold all of my brights from the latest color runs (PP, pigment blue, and flash). I was a little worried when traveling with limited options and I ended up having todo a 10mi run in my flash CRB + pigment blue Stay on Course jacket, but neither bled at all.

What bra are you wearing underneath? I just bought this top (in another color) and don't want my bra straps to be too "showy"

I had the PP Cross My Heart Bra and the Hot and Sweaty tank. I prewashed both following Lulu's instructions and BOTH bled. I washed them so many times and the bleeding never stopped. I was so bummed and finally called Lulu and they sent me a shipping label to return for a full refund and also a small gift card on top of the refund. Several weeks later and I'm still waiting on both the GC AND the refund. But, I did appreciate that they were willing to rectify the situation. I loved the PP color so much I hope they can reissue more items that don't bleed.

I bought about 7 PP pieces (cross my heart bra, the marching band pullover, three tanks -deep V, PUL, and some other I can't recall, inspire tighs, turbo shorts, and the turn around ls) . Because I threw all of them together into the washer, I can't tell which one exactly was the one bleeding I suspect the ls turn around!). But I can tell you something in that pile bled its heart out, because I ran the washer for two straight days, with the items inside. As soon a the cycle was done, I would put more detergent and start it again. After two days, the water finally came clear.

PP bleeds why would Lululemon pull PP from their stores?? I bet this color will bleed too, it is all from the same manufacturer.

I have the PP Astro grooves and the PP power y and neither one bled and I did not presoak --

I have a PP energy bra and I soaked it in salt water and then vinegar and more salt water and back and forth. Still bleeding profusely.

But even after all that vinegar soaking, that thing still had the Lululemon smell. How do they do that? I'm convinced the smell is a drug.

My pigment bllue bra and wunder unders did not bleed.

Hi! Does the PP striped rib CRB have any bleeding issues? Just ordered mine online!

Christine said...

This is off topic, but those of you with the Yin Me Pullover - have you had any pilling? I've only worn it twice and I have pilling under the arms and two snags on the front :(

Anonymous said...

I've not had any pilling with mine yet! I bought it about a week ago and have worn it about four times since then. I love it!

I'm sorry to hear this is an issue...a 100 dollar sweater should not be pilling. Have you contacted the GEC?

Not yet, I am about to though. I am very disappointed, especially since even if they give me a refund I can't replace it!

I never had bleeding with most of my Paris pink except for my pink hustle jacket which dyed my hands and swiftly underneath but the second time i washed my flash bra it transferred colour onto one of my other items. I got it out but I still don't understand why it would still be bleeding after it had already been washed. It didn't transfer during my yoga class

MonkeyGirl- anon 12:10 here, thanks for the information about the pullover. after i posted earlier I went running and popped into my lululemon. they happened to have 4 pullovers, all returns, and all my size. i have been to a few different lulus since it came out and none of them had it. i love the pink! i got it and stuck with my regular size (there was a fourth a size down). i was balking at the price on here before and still wish it was a little cheaper but think it will be very useful. now i just hope a better spring running jacket doesn't come out after i take the tags off this one!

MonkeyGirl said...

@anon 7:05- glad you got it :) I balked at the price too, and considered just taking a pass unless it went to loot. But I think the PP is super cute, and it is definitely a functional piece!

I have the PP cross my heart bra, and after 3 washes I thought I was in the clear, but after a 3 hour hike I was stained pink! I have the Pure Balance jacket as well, and have just washed it for the first time. I am scared to sweat in it! I would return the bra, but the educators at my store know me too well and would give me a hard time. My sister had a quality issue last year and couldn't show her face in there for months because they made her feel so unwelcome!

@Jels. An educator assured me that if I would like to return any PP items due to bleeding, lulu will accept them No Questions Asked. If your store gave you a hard time, make sure to get the names of the offending educators and call a supervisor @ GEC to report them. Hate to have to resort to this, but it is unacceptable for them to treat a customer badly when they are at fault with quality issue.
