Photos: Deep Indigo Bold Stripe X-Long Cool Racerback

This is the Deep Indigo Bold Stripe Extra Long Cool Racerback. You wouldn't know it's an Extra Long CRB, though, because the store posed this with a pair of Happy Hatha (vomit) Crops. I'm enforcing my ban on not publishing photos of this crop (I know I'm juvenile but I'm annoyed lulu continues to waste resources on beating the harem crop dead horse) so that's why they aren't in these photos or ever will be. As soon as I find better photos of this new tank I'll post.

I know someone else said this...but really - why does Lulu keep making these awful crops, when everyone is pleading for the ebb & flow crops?? Hello Lulu marketing team - r u out there?!

LLA..."it's your party and you'll post what you want to!" Good for you! Thanks again for all the time and energy you take to keep this going.

It' appreciated by so many that never comment, but know that they are out there.

I support 100%, LLA. Anything harem related makes me want to vom as well. I was creepin' on the Canadian side of the website last night and noticed this product was uploaded if you need additional pics.

*correction to my post - just checked and it's available on the US side too (priced at $42?). Not sure when that happened, but neat!

Omg thank u!!! Just ordered it and it's $42 not the normal $48 for x long crb. Cool!

Anonymous said...

Why are these crb priced at $42 and the other xl crb are $48? It's like the camo nightmare all over again!

It sounds like it reverses to the thin strips. Wish they had a picture.

Just got back from my local store and a try-on binge:
The Chase Me skirt wasn't as adorable as I thought it would be and ran a touch big. I could have worn a 4
The Chase me Crops in Wee Indigo ran small and weren't flattering on me but I loved the pockets.
The Spirit tights ran small but I loved the crazy Wee are from space ones so much I bought them in an 8.

I 2,3,4 etc. it- they are hideous!!! I think they want to piss us all off- no person in their right mind can say those look good on anyone!!! I feel the same way w/ the hankercheif stuck in the bra top look- they always have several of these tanks going at the same time too!!!! I love the shelfless bra tops/tanks that skim the body- they make them they sell out and seems like it takes forever to get another style-o-well it saves me money for sure!!! ha ha!!! suss

Hammer Time is looooooong over!
Thank you for not posting the hideousness.

That woman does not look happy at all.

That woman looks like someone pooped in her cheerios.

you have my absolute support on banning more lulu diaper pants. I can't stand look at them myself.

I'm so sorry, but that is just he worst model to sell these products. I actually look at her in the clothes and think I hope they do not make me look and feel as awful as they make her! (sorry!)

I love harem pants. I think your ban is silly. I think gratitude wraps and still pants look like mommy cliche clothes. It's all a matter of perspective.

OT - There are paris pink arm warmers on the ivivva site for anyone interested...they are only $22 and are luon light.

I think the girl in the photos is lovely, and that we're lucky she's willing to pose for all these photos. Cut her slack people...she's just a person, and a lovely one at that. She also almost certainly reads this blog.

MonkeyGirl said...

I agree, screenshop! I am so grateful to these ladies for letting us see the clothes, and I think she's lovely too!

Anonymous said...

Typical. Yes, go after us for making observations. She's making some real stinkers of faces. That's all people are saying. They're not saying anything else. I don't see any comment on her character. Period.

By the way, there's just as much drama created by you swooping in to defend someone who doesn't need to be defended, as in the negativity that people may or may not be directing toward someone on this blog.

Screenshop said...

Interesting that the negative comments are always left by Anonymous.

Anonymous said...

Because screenshop isn't anonymous?

Awww guys, don't pick on the eds in the photos. A lot of them read the blog and the comments. All these educators are doing us a great favor by modeling the clothes. Maybe she has a headache or isn't feeling well.

And if anyone likes harem pants why wouldn't they just buy any of the 3 styles that always seem to be hanging out in Loot?

This just reminds me of my co-worker who got drunk and got this hideous jester-smoking-a-big-old-cigar tatoo. Every year she is hoping jesters will become popular. Sometimes you just gotta give up and move on.

Some people think that because they use a made-up name as their online ID, that sets them apart and give them the right to act as arbitrators.
I had not commented on the model nor on any item on this post, but find it annoying how these no-less-anonymous people always jump at others whenever they write their honest thoughts.

Laissez-faire!

For goodness sake, let's just comment on the clothes shall we? Just wanted to say that I agree the Harems are ugly and I don't just think that because I'm too old to wear them, my 18 year old daughter can't stand them either. Some people will want them so I don't care if Lululemon wants to make them but it does annoy me when they seem to totally ignore requests for more of other items in particular the lined Studio Pants which have loads of requests in the reviews on the website but they didn't do any.
Oh, I am in Europe and in response to a comment I saw earlier on the blog Harems are not popular here either!

Anonymous said...

I'm in Europe as well and wouldn't say the Harem pants are exactly "popular" but people do wear them in warmer months:

To each its own!

I am pretty sure this model has posed before. She appeared lovely, vivacious and wore the clothes well. I will say though that she looks like I do recovering from a bout of the flu. Just a little green.

I'm sure this educator is a lovely person and I truly appreciate all that LLA does for this blog so we can see the latest and greatest lulu, as well as the educators and other ppl that let us see the items on real ppl. With that said, an educator's job is ultimately to sell clothes so would it be asking that much to at least look happy in the clothes they're trying to sell? Or at least not looked pissed off about wearing them? May I remind everyone of the Paris pink run pullover on the website a couple months ago with the website model who had a similar expression as this educator and all the comments from ppl who were turned off by her expression to the point where they didn't like the item because of it? The whole package counts, this is sales when it comes down to it.

I love harem pants (and most of the funkier styles in general). I personally get tired of seeing all the running crops churned out with very few changes between styles. I don't love this particular pairing with the X-long CRB, though I do love the tank.
