Lulu Outlet Coming to California!!!

Reader Maia wrote in to tell me that there is a lulu outlet coming to Gilroy. It's set to open in late spring/early summer. I wish it was closer but it's better than trekking to Washington State. Now I have to think up some excuses to head up to Northern California.

Where's the Open Your Heart Tank?? It disappeared completely from the website. Until yesterday they had all four colors in all sizes, with the exception. Of Dazzling that was sold out in 4 and 6z.
The tank is already marked down (shows $-1) when u clicked on its picture on my shipping confirmation email.
How come it's already headed for WMTM section??

excuse to head to NorCal: garlic, perhaps?

I hope they have better selection than the Orlando factory outlet...what a disappointment. And of course, not long after I move from California to Florida, a Lulu outlet moves in. What luck! ;) Not only am I missing out on a factory outlet, but I'm also missing out on that fabulous garlic. It's always a treat to drive through Gilroy!

@ Fetsywetsy

How disappointing is the Orlando outlet? Do they carry past seasons or slow selling colors/items? Just curious. I live in fl but not close to the outlet (6hrs away). I plan on making a stopping by the outlet on way thru to the east coast. Maybe I shouldn't stop in?

The orlando one is very touristy....

I posted about this in Lulubirds about a month ago

Wow! I am sorry to hear the Orlando outlet is a disappointment- I'm from S. FL originally and go back often. Next rip is this summer, and I planned on maybe trekking up to the Orlando outlet. Not sure I will now. So- there's an outlet in Washington State, FL, soon CA- anywhere else?

I found a heck of a lot of deals at the Orlando outlet! I guess it depends on what you are looking for. Always stop by there on our Disney trips. They usually have items that didn't sell well (more Harem Crops and Pants than you can shake a stick at) and items that were returned to stores/online that were "out of season" because LLL moved onto new designs and colors.
Gilroy--Garlic Festival, of course! Try some garlic ice cream, watch the guys work with 3-foot diameter skillets to make up garlic-inspired dishes...totally worth a trip just for your bucket-list ;)

Maybe it depends on the time of year that you go to the Orlando outlet...I hear they're just nuts right after Christmas. When I was there, I was able to get a couple pair of biker grooves for more than I paid on the WMTM, and a cabin long-sleeve that was the same price as WMTM. There were about three tops per size to choose from, but a lot of bottoms. I was disappointed that the prices were either the same or higher than WMTM, but that probably was more based on the items I was buying. I don't think biker grooves or cabins are slow sellers, they were just in colors that were outdated, which in Lulu timelines means about a month?? Haha! I live three hours away from the outlet in Orlando, and I personally wouldn't make a special trip out there just for the Lulu outlet again. Maybe tack it on to an Epcot trip or something. Orlando has a crapload of outlet stores though, including a Victoria's Secret outlet, which I've never seen before.

MonkeyGirl- OT: I am really thinking about getting a pair of the cw-x crops. Can you help me with sizing? My Superficial Endeavors is a size lulu 4/6 and she needed the medium. I am a lulu size 8 and I was thinking I would need the large based on her sizing. The cw-x size chart says lrg fits 170lbs-190lbs. I am lost.....

I am a size 6-8 lulu pant. I went with the Cw-x size chart and got a medium as recommended for my height and weight, and it is the correct fit. I do know however that a lot of people size up. Mine fit tightly, as compression pants should, but they are not too tight as to be uncomfortable and I do not have muffin top.

I was worried about choosing the correct size too- I ordered from Zappos as I was too lazy to hit a store, and Zappos does free shipping and returns so I wasn't as worried taking a chance.

Hope that helps!

Gilroy? Time to plan some road trips to San Fran, with some budget set aside for Lulu.

OH MY GOD. I live in Oakland. This is the best news I've heard in a long time.

@ Christie - Contact CW-X to verify your size. My husband did this because he was looking at getting CW-X. They got right back to him. I think he emailed them but he might have called them.

This is an awkward question, but for you ladies with the cw-x shorts and tights: do you wear underwear/a foundation layer underneath them? It seems like that might interfere with the way that they compress and support your muscles. Just wondering as I'm planning to order a pair of their shorts.
