Open Your Heart Tank Pulled For Fit Problems
An anonymous commenter told us that the new Open Your Heart Tanks were getting pulled from the stores for fit. Today they are off the website. I didn't notice anything truly awful when I tried it on but I know people have said it came up too high on them in the armpits. I think the weight of my boobs mitigated this issue but I can see how it would bug a lot of people.

When they pull something, what happens to it? I mean, do those items end up in WMTM or outlets, or do they just vanish altogether?
I think they end up in the outlets... That happened to a pullover last year with defective circle mesh.
It's strange to me that they'd pull something due to fit, but not bleeding which seems like a much bigger issue. Strange.
They don't fit great. They are high in the armpits and the body is way too long! If those issues are fixed, I'd definitely buy one!!
I was told in my store today that it was the thin straps that were the problem. Apparently the straps were too tight and digging in at the shoulders.
Personally I love mine, so much so that I would have bought a second if it came in another color I liked. I bought the daz and was just waiting a bit before I would have bought the black.
fingers crossed they bring it back or one similar after they resolve the issue.
Not a flattering tank at all.
I purchased the uv tank and put cups in and uncrossed the straps to make it comfortable and presentable. Now I love it and would have bought the dazzling color. The way the back dips down and gathers in the center is lovely.
I just got mine in the mail today. I guess I better try it on quick! I also bought the commuter jacket and it's just too thick for riding in this Texas weather. Sleeves too long also. I got the every yogi ls and I'm keeping that one. Way cute in fossil/ dazzling combo.
Fits my body perfectly and looks very elegant! I love it and bought the black and pink!
I bought this in dazzling and loved it! It reminded me of the embrace or the ebb and flow tanks. Frankly the embrace tank digs into my shoulders more than this one. :(
Lulu has used straps this thin before. Odd they would pull because of this. I don't know if I've heard of an item getting pulled for fit issues before.
I tried it on Thursday and the fit was awful. Too high on the armpits, too long, and fit strange around the stomach. It looked cute on the hanger . . .
I doubt it's a fit issue - the stuff would go to markdown if it was. It must be some other unknown that we probably don't want to know about. Lulu keeps tight purse strings, I doubt they would pull it unless it was a pretty bad issue.
Now I don't know if I should return mine or not. I don;t want the problem to be worse than fit and find out after taking off tags and washing. I had to uncross the straps since it did pull the armpit a little higher. I like it but can live without it for the right reasons. I remember when they pulled a loose fitting top recently. It's like a burn out tee with longer sides and unfinished seams. It's in Aquamarine. The educator told me it's not quality enough technical material for Lulu and they marked it down the day they got it, there are still some on the sale rack. Yes, that one was obvious. I ordered one online and returned the day the store got theirs. That's how I found out.
I also question lulu reasons for pulling this tank off the market. If it is Brause Straps are too Thun and dig, then they should refund me for the four Embrace tanks I got about 6 or 7 months ago and that still sit brand new with tags in my drawer!
This tank digs awfully on the back! Still, like someone mentioned, it was never pulled.
I bought two of the Open Your Heart and have not even received then, so I can tell if something is wrong with them, but just like Pink Peony, I'm wondering whether I should send them right back?!
If you bought the top - I think the GEC should be able to give you the straight dope. Call them and ask them direct, difficult questions. If they tell you some vague quality story, then give them examples of things that went straight to mark down (and not pulled from the shelves). Some people mentioned the latest mesh aquamarine top - the Full Expression Tee - as an example. I think there was a city beat pant that had issues and also went straight to mark down.
Whats new? Lululemon is pulling alot of items this Spring!
I have a long torso and absolutely love the Open Your Heart Tank. I have washed it several times and it washes well. I wish they would bring it back, I would love to get additional colors. I found it VERY comfortable and I LOVE the length!!
