Upload - Some Surprises

New print - Blurred Blossoms - debuted in the Pace Setter Skirt. I can't tell if I like it or not from this photo. I'll need to see it in person, though I'd bet I'll end up getting the Cool Racerback when it comes out.

The It's a Cinch Dress is back. This was one of my favorite purchases from last year. I'm glad to see it back. I hope it comes in some cute prints. I like to wear it like it's shown in the photo above - as a tunic.

New pricey No Rain No Gain jacket. I'm not a fan of the turtle shell-looking back.

I didn't order anything tonight but I am tempted by the Ultraviolet Cool Racerback. I really want a new Amphipod Iphone armband so I think that's where my lulu dollars are going this week. What did you get?

What colors would you gather are in that print. I want to order a lulu top but can't quite get the colors?? I know flash but what about the pink and green??

I ordered the Run pace setter skirt in this cute spring print and in deep indigo. Also the it's a cinch dress and two older items I'd been eyeing for a while: the pedal pusher bag and the fossil running hat.

I've got some worn once ebb and flow crops for sale on ebay if anyone is looking for some below tag price. Black, size 6 if anyone is looking. Need to make some money to purchase my dream wedding dress!....It's taking all of my will power not to go look at the new uploads!

@anon 3:07am, I'd be interested in the black ebb&flow crops, if they're still for sale. I wasn't able to find them on ebay. What's the best way to contact you? Or find a link to your posting? TIA.
Cheers,
k2

Lulu saved me money again this week. I don't really care for the current colors, and the only thing I was remotely interested in was the Run in the Rain jacket, but I already have a rain jacket, so it was a wash. And I think that $178 for a rain jacket is a little on the expensive side. I was hoping to see some more colors in the Every Yogi LS, but alas, I guess I'll have to wait until next week.

Anonymous said...

I usually go between a 6 and 8 ...any advice on the fit of the Its a Cinch Dress? Thanks!

MonkeyGirl said...

I was hoping for some every yogi LS's too. Or a define in dazzling. That's ok, I like not spending the $$$ :)

I do like that blossom print.

I just ordered the Ultraviolet Pace Setter skirt in the tall size. I hardly ever see tall size skirts in fun bright colors!

Got my flash WU Crops last night. And a good thing too! All sizes are sold out in a "flash" (really, an unintentional pun!), on the US site, as of 6:00AM this morning (or ealier?), when I checked on it again. Hope those of you who wants one got it!

The lulu floral skirt looks like a print on my granny's couch from the back. Flash WUs sold out like crazaaay!

I ordered Its a Cinch in 2 sizes - not sure on the fit - hope the color looks good with my olive complection. two weeks ago I ordered the Commuter Crop - cute details - thinking about the Commuter Scuba - anyone get that?

Anonymous said...

No Rain No Gain? Isn't this a re-release? Wish they would Downtime Jacket instead.

I have a Cinch dress from last year and stayed TTS. Super flattering.

I wanted the Commuter Scuba but the fabric is much too stiff and heavy for me.

I want to get the Swift tank in ultraviolet, but I'm unsure of what size to get. Does anyone have one and can comment on the fit? I think I wear a 6 in the Push Ur Limits, so I was thinking I would get a 6 in this one, too. But if the fabric tends to show every bulge around the midsection, I might reconsider.

Anon@6:50 AM

The Swiftly tanks are quite low cut and tend to have really large armholes. Chances are if you want a good fit up top, it will end up being tight in the mid-section. Get the 6 if you don't mind showing a lot of your bra with a looser mid-section, or get the 4 if you want to show less bra (it will be snugger in the mid-section). Personally, if I were you I would go with the 4. The Swiftly's tend to be long enough to bunch up in the waist zone and hide some pudge...also a color like UV will be more forgiving than a lighter color.

MontrealRunner said...

Yikes, sorry, I thought you meant the Swiftly Racerback, not the Swift Tank. I recant.

The Swift tank fit weird on me. For reference, I'm 5'8" with a longer torso and 32C. I typically wear either a 4 or 6 in lulu tops (in the bra tops, I usually have to wear a 4 with size 6 pads).

The elastic on the built-in bra was a little loose so it wasn't really supportive enough even with the pads. I'd probably have to wear a Flow Y bra underneath and take out the pads from the tank to feel comfortable running in it. I would've like to size down for a snugger fit in the band, but I couldn't because the straps were short enough that they would've been too tight over my shoulders, and because the top isn't that long and was already hitting higher on my hips than I like.

I would say it fits "close" around the mid-section--not form-fitting, but not flowy either. I'm an hourglass, and I think it would bunch up at my waist during runs or yoga. Might be fine for straighter figures.

Deep Indigo Studio Crops. Recently purchased my first pair and I love them. Great for active yoga classes now and I'll use them for Yin yoga this summer when wunder unders are too warm.

It's item number 110845481578
Can't seem to post the link from my phone, I will later if you still need it.

Could anyone please review the power house crop? How does it compare to wunder unders or astro wunder unders?

Anonymous said...

The power house crop fits similar to WU Crop but the material is a little thinner and not as soft. I like the design around the thighs and hips very much. I think these will be best for hot yoga and hiking in warmer weather. Power House Crop are my current favorite. Btw, I'm size 4 in both WU and Power House, my measures are 34-24-35

Yes I did and I'm returning it coz it's too thick for Texas weather right now. I like it since it's shorter in the body.

Does the cinch dress for like a crb or the everyday yogi tank? I am 6 in most tops but 4 in the yogi tank (and the cinch looks like an even longer version of that) and the swiftly tanks. Thanks!

Anon. @ 6:28
I LOVE the commuter scuba! I think it my favorite scuba that I have bought and I have a lot! The scallop detail is really cute, the arms have a crease that allows more room in the arms, it is really flattering on. However, I am short 5"2, and fairly petite so it works well for me. The front comes up, so it looks really cute with a tank underneath. Got a ton of compliments on it and have worn it a ton since purchasing last week. LOVE!

Anonymous said...

anyone know what size the flash wunder unders come in, all i can find is up to a size 10, but i am thinking 12 might be a bit more forgiving simply because of the colour

Just got an e-mail saying that the Flash WU crops I purchased were actually out of stock so I am not getting them after all. I hate that. My order went through and then boom, several hours later I get that e-mail. It seems pretty simple to me - they have a certain count of items in stock and the count should decrease to zero as customers purchase them. This mess up is happening far too often.

GINA MARTIN said...

I AGREE. This is maddening! I went to order the Flash Wunder Unders as well, and they were sold out. Since I am on EST I get the notifications later then the rest, so they are always out of stock in my size on their new items.
WHY do they do not make enough? I mean people on ebay are selling them for Pete's sake for over $100. How did they get them ?
I complained to LULU and they gave me some bogus excuse that they do not want to over produce to be safer on the environment.
REALLY? I highly doubt it. I think it is a marketing ploy.
They do not have enough Flash color to make enough tops, but then suddenly come out with Flash pants, and now cannot make enough of those? What gives!

Anonymous said...

I always put my order on Monday 11:30 pm even before the new product notification email was sent out. I usually add and pay for the hot item immediately and take my time on others and make another purchase.

Does the Canadian side not sell out as fast as the US? I know lulumum (Canadian) usually does a blog post on Monday night after I’ve gone to bed about the upload and when I get up only 10 minutes earlier than my usual time, (though quite early for most people 4:50 a.m.), everything is still there in all sizes. As of now I believe there are still flash WU on the Canadian website though I bought mine yesterday at the store since I get the R&D discount by purchasing in purchase for being a yoga instructor.

Purchasing in purchase? Wow, I'm tired.

*** Purchasing in PERSON

An educator told me not to expect a UV define :( was so hoping to see one!

I bought the heathered ultra violet power Y and the new spring WU crops with the colorful waistabnd. I am liking this new bright color palette that is coming- orange does nothing for me- and am excited to see what is coming out in the near future.

@anon 6:50...

I am between a 6 & 8 in Lulu tops, depending on how I want the top to fit I can really go either way. I had ordered the Aquamarine Swift in a 6 and was so excited to get it, but when I did I thought that it ran just a bit snugger than my PUL tanks so I sent it back. I was so excited for it to come out and then didn't LOVE it, but part of it was the color, too pale for me. I am feeling tempted to order the UV, and if I did, I think that I'd go with the 8 just to give myself some breathing room. I don't know if that helps?

I've got to go through my supply and sell a few things that I never wear before buying anything else though... *sigh*

Anonymous said...

The flash Wunder unders a still in most all sizes on the Canadian side. I figured they'd sell out here a lot faster as well.

Anonymous said...

I really want a swift (not swiftly) tank in dazzling!

Anonymous said...

i couldn't resist the UV swift! am thinking about those astro pants with the dazzling/uv band, but I just it's getting too warm for pants. wish they came out with more short sleeve tee's.

I decided not to buy anything this week... not loving the color palette. I contemplated the flash WUs, but they are just too bright for me. I own the paris pink ones, but flash is just too much. I live in a small town and when I wear my PP ones to the gym people stare at me weird- I can only imagine flash would be much worse! I did however snag an elevation space dye power y off ebay for a ridiculously inflated price. I missed it this christmas and had been eyeing it for a while!

I've had the out of stock order before. After complaining to lululemon, they explained the process which is highly inefficient and annoying (it seems they need a new developer for their website), they did offer me a $20 gift card to console me. Which worked partially. I'm from Alaska, so my only option is to order online. I'm glad others have had this problem too.

Anonymous said...

I bought a pair of J-Brand jeans in coral which is very similar to Lululemon's flash colour. It seems to be a very popular colour this season but I'm not sure it has staying power. Likely more of a trend. Not sure why but I have no problem wearing jeans in this colour but would never ever wear tights or leggings in this colour.

Anonymous said...

Yes, if you get an out of stock email you should definitely call and express your feelings- I also got a $20 GC.

Anonymous said...

What size pace setter skirt should I order? I am 5'5, 105-106 lbs. Size 2 or 4. Any input is appreciated:) thanks!

Anonymous said...

I am 5" 105 and I wear between a 2 and 4 in lulu skirts. I would suggest you do the 2

Pink Peony 4 said...

I bought a lot today (as always). I got the new floral pacesetter skirt after swearing no more skirts until you wear the 6 in the closet with tags on, the flash wunder under, tracker shorts in fossil, dance strap tank in ultraviolet and dazzling and ultraviolet swift tank. Also the cinch dress. I m so happy to see the patterned skirt. I guess it's good to see something different. Hopefully I don;t have to return any of them for bad fit or shade or for whatever.

I totally missed that the No Rain No Gain was a re-release. I knew the back looked familiar. Why this made a comeback is beyond me.

The upload has been occurring around 11:15-11:30 pm Pacific Time. They don't send out the email until much later so hot things are often sold out by that time. I wish they'd go back to the early morning upload. I don't care to wait up for the upload and it's not fair for east coast people.

@ Pink Peony- 6 skirts with tags on? Of course if you are waiting for the weather to warm up I understand. ;-)

Anonymous said...

@ Pink Peony: I laughed when I read your comment because I recognised myself ;) And I bought both the blossom and UV skirts, amongst a number of other things. My unused lulu wardrobe is beginning to overtake the used one!

I notice the Ride On Blazer and pants are gone in every color except black-and they are not sold out. So they may end up in WMTM.
I got the Commuter Scuba and I love it well loved it. I'm tall 5'10" and the fit was nice even the slightly higher front. But alas it was just too much to spend so I returned it.

Anonymous said...

Thank you, yes, it's not practical for me to wait up till 2:30am or set my alarm for that time to place my lulu order. I'm in the Eastern Time Zone.
