Is that maybe a blush no limit tank?

I saw the blush no limit in my local store. It's really pretty! I might have to add that and the heathered fossil groove's to the wardrobe.

I went to my store (San Diego/La Jolla) yesterday and was surprised to find a few astro wunder unders in the sale rack! Unfortunately they were all size 10 :( I did get the flash/dune wee stripe CRB which is such a cute color and the no limits tank in the gray/fossil color. It's my first no limits tank and I really like it! A lot more coverage than the Practice Freely tank.

Does anyone know how the denim groove crops fit compared to regular groove crops? Personally I find that the crops fit me more loose than the pants for some reason. I am an 8 in groove pants but could go down to a 6 in the crops.

These are so cute! I just don't think that I have the frame to pull off all these white and light gray pants. I only got up my nerve to start wearing WUs a couple of months ago (had always been a groove girl). Guess I'll just stick with boring black.

OT-Whaaaahhhh!!!! The new Australian/New Zealand site has the elusive heathered dazzling CRB in all sizes! Dislike the fact that we can look at the different sites but can't buy anything from them, unless we have someone from that country who are willing to get it for us. But it's good news for luluaddicts in Oz/NZ. Now they get free shipping too. :)

Received my wee stripe flash dune thingy(the color names are always a mouthful)) CRB. Very pretty. Me likey! Not as bright as the plain flash, for sure.

Am waiting for my Namaste tank in fossil beachy floral. Hope it works for me as I am small up top (32A). Hoping it will not fit like the Hot N Sweaty tank, where I looked like I'm having the "empty cup syndrome", lol! Any fit reviews of the Namaste tank from "ladies of the smaller chest" club?

OT--Ok. I was anxiously awaiting the arrival of my ebb&flows. got them today. Everyone is right. They are completely see-thru. But they are the most AMAZING, LUXURIOUS crops. I am NOT keeping them bc I would never wear them in public. They made my butt look amazing. And I hope so bc it was out for the whole world to see. They are also the perfect length. Oh well......$ saved. And I received my zippy tank yesterday. That's going back too. I ordered a 4, could've used a 2. Lulu claims it is a medium support tank. Yeah, right. I am an A/B cup and didn't have adequate support for running. There isn't a slot to place the cups. Holy headlights! I was looking forward to wearing both of these pieces. Oh well. More $ saved!

Agree on the ebb and flows... I am a size 6 through and through and these crops showed all my lady parts when I squatted. so terrible!

in other news - my local yoga studio (corepower in chicago) had concord wunder under pants. bought a pair because who knows when I'll see them at a ln actual lulu store!

I really don't know why people are saying the ebb & flow are see thru ? I have them in every color and they are amazing and NOT SEE THRU. I guess it really has to do with body types. I do have muscular bum & thighs. I would think it would have been see thru.... but no. I also would recommend to the women out there who say they are see thru to wear nude underwear underneath. That might help. Ebb & Flows are my favorite and I hope they make them in more colors ! :)

yogibabe said...

@Kristin Sorry the Ebb&Flow doesn't work out for you. But I have to agree with @anon 5:52pm. I have five pairs, two each of the black and deep indigo and one pair of the grey. None of them is see through. It must depend on each of our different body types. I also wear nude thongs with all my crops/tights. I am always in front of my class. Have lots of good girlfriends who would have told me if it is see through. The poses I do in these crops will definitely show if these are see through. I even have my husband check out my rear ;), when I'm in these poses-outside in natural light. No see through at all. I guess I'm lucky to have the E&F work out well for, as this is my favorite crop amongst all the styles available.

If you find the Ebb&Flows see thru... Size up and they will be fine. They are super stretchy, and even though you could get into a smaller size, this will make the material thinner as it is stretched out. Easy fix.

@ yogibabe

Nude underwear is a great option. I didn't think about that! I think I'm going to wear them around the house for a few days. They feel amazing. I hate to return them. Thanks for the suggestion.

Here Anon. @ 5:52PM.... Yup easy fix.... with nude underwear for those concerned with see thru issue for Ebb & Flow. :)

First let me say that I'm five feet and 85 lbs so the size 2 ebb and flows is a size up for me. I have all 3 colors and all three are see through. I am tired of us blaming ourselves for this issue (i.e. thinking we bought the wrong size or our butt and legs are too big). Lulu misdesigned the pant. Period. It's not our fault.

The lulu website has a great review that points out that the fabric is thinner on the back panel than the front. The reviewer tried the pants on backwards and the sheerness was not as bad. I also tried this and it does solve the issue. I agree upon examination that the back fabric that is framed by the logo is thinner than the front fabric. You can feel the differnce when you wear them backwards.

Maybe if lulu had put these pants through quality control they could have figured this out instead of having a customer do so. Regardless there is an issue with the ebb and flow design. Currently I wear my crops with caution and not for yoga.

Sorry I misspelled difference in my prior post - I was typing too fast!

Also I find that when I wear a nude thong that just means that I see the thong through the pant and not lady parts. It doesn't change the fact that the pant is sheer during downward dog, it just changes the view.

I'm somewhat envious of everyone's excitement...I just was not excited about anything the last two downloads. Just meh. It just maybe the colors and prints just are not for me.

I'm not sure what I'm hoping for next week...color? Something rich and saturated that is not a shade of pink!

Anonymous said...

Anon 7:52 that's excellent info. Thanks. I love the look of the ebb & flow, but will not waste my money on them. And agreed: Lulu is NOT doing proper quality control and true testing of their products.

@ Kristin. I'll just weigh in/more info for you. I saw the black ebb & flow crops in action today in my hot yoga class. Very petite girl, slim, crops seemed to fit her well: BUT totally see through! Just like a pair of winter weight tights you would wear under a skirt/dress, which is what other customers have reviewed on the LLL website. She was also wearing a thong and it was VERY apparent and ergo, was mooning the class. IMO nude underwear is not going to help you with these because the material is SO sheer! And personally I would not size up because then you may end up with slipping waistband AND sinking gusset. I made that expensive mistake once. ONCE. Never again.

fyi, Calvin Klein nude seamless underwear (NOT thong) are the best (pricey, yes, but look what we spend on LLL!) I have a pair of recent WU Special Edition (Luon has changed for sure) that require the nude seamless, allowing me to remain decent/discreet.

Yogibabe-the Austrailian site also got the Dazzling Scuba!!! I wanted that jacket more than anything! The hunt for that little ditty consumed me for nearly a month...and it still lingers in my head:/

Anyone from Australia? :)

I hope a new bag comes out! I'm sooo sad! I don't have one that I love!

I can't wait for next week if it means concord grape wunder unders and the lift bra! I just hope they didn't change anything!

Does anyone else think it's nuts to have to buy special underwear to compensate for a flaw in workout clothing??

Anonymous said...

Okay, let's end this here. For those who love their Ebb & Flows, lucky you! For those who are not in love with this crop, due to sheerness or whatever reasons, it's unfortunate for the disappointment. We are all trying to give our point of views on a particular item. There's no need to be "mean girls" in voicing our opinions. If someone wants to share their tip to help with a certain issue, (re: Calvin Klein nude seamless underwear), there's no need for you to say out loud for others to hear, that you think she's "nuts" for doing so, (yes, you @anon 9:36pm). Ultimately, the choice is yours to buy or not to buy any items at all, from lululemon! Lighten up!!!
Sincerely,
Just another "anon" ;)

@ Anon 7:52, very well put. I heartily agree with everything you said.

I wonder if maybe there was a batch difference between the first round of E&Fs and this recent round. Reason why I ask is that I snagged a gray pair the first time around, my true size 4. They were NOT see through, but I returned them for my own reasons. This time, I snagged an indigo again in my TTS 4 thinking for sure they would not be see through, but they were horrendously see through! I agree w/ Anon 8:03-- a thong doesn't truly solve the problem. So I returned these E&Fs, too. Shrug. I'm 5'1", 115 lbs, so not chubby, but not anorexic thin either.

OT: have any of you petite women actually tried on/ purchased Ivivva clothing? I know people "say" that the size 12 = lulu's 4, but I'm hesitant to spring for it w/out having tried it on or heard more feedback.

Sounds like a manufacturing or materials consistency issue. My new black ebb & flows are not see through at all. Passed the bend over and squat test in sunlight, with and without red underwear. This new pair (black) feels heavier and thicker than the grey pair I returned when they first came out. I returned the grey ebb & flows because of potential sweat spots.
Ordered my normal size, 6. I have skinny legs/thighs and 36" hip measurement.

Anonymous said...

I also bought my regular size 4 in the Ebb and FLow crops, and also bought a size6 due to the feedback I've read... I actually had a lamp next to me and did the Bend over test... Totally see through For Sure!! I wanted to keep them bc they are SO comfy, but could not justify as loungewear. I'm 5-2" and 110#. These crops went back sadly.

Anonymous said...

How sheer are we talking? If I touch my toes you can kind of see the rip out tag but that's about it. They don't look like nylons.

Anonymous said...

@ Anon 10:52, mine were sheer enough that if you were close enough and/ or have good vision, you could see the "text" on the rip out tag.

Aleisha said...

Just for frame of reference on E&F crop, I bought a 6 on the feedback to size up. I'm 112lbs 5'6" = not see thru. The material feels grippy to my skin and there are no slipage issues. It seems to be so individual, if anyone is contemplating getting i would suggest trying them...no harm in that. I do have some WU in a print on dune/white from a few years ago that are totally see thru and I will be trying the nude undies solution. Agreed Lulu is not doing proper QC on these, especially for designing yoga wear, where one ofte key activities you are designing for involves bending over! Having said all that, you an always pair with an extra long CRB or Yogi tank that will help to cover.

@anon 9:51 pm I didn't think anon 9:36pm meant it that way at all. At least I didn't think so. No offense taken here. I can think of more mean comments I've read here than this. I myself have no problems with e&f but have problems with a few others. Lulu covers all body types Im guessing. I buy stocks when there's nothing exciting for me but everybody is fighting over it and sells out. I figured this is one way to own lulu not just a lulu outfit.

LuluLily:

I am Anon 7:52 and I also buy Ivivva. The size 10 is great for me (it's similar to a lulu 2) but it is scaled differently from lulu. The legs have a more narrow cut and the rise is lower.

My only issue is that I think the Luon is a little thinner and scratchier than lulu's but that's based on my experience with one pair of crops. I have a pair of Rulu tights from Ivivva and the quality is excellent. Hope this helps!

Anon 8:36 I will try nude or black boy shorts under my ebbs. Thanks for the suggestion!

OT The Southern Hemisphere has gone with the massively marked-up prices as well, with fewer stock choices :((( And blocking the option to Order from the US; just cruel.
On reflection this is good for my wallet & time management, too many idle minutes in the week thinking about LULU when I could be doing something more productive. Maybe I will start a Northern-Southern Hemisphere Angel service :)

Just curious how do you guys find the Aus/nz stuff. I only know about canada and US?

Anon 7:35 If you become an Angel, please let us know as there is a special something I'm eyeing:)

I was worried after reading about the ebb and flows, but I just got mine and with nude underwear I didn't see any problems. I'm wearing my regular size 4, and if it helps, I'm 5'7" and about 120lbs and 36+ weeks pregnant. I have only worn lulu from 20 weeks on and I'm wearing the inspire crops in a 5k race this weekend. I love the comfort of my lulu not digging in yet being supportive.

Anonymous said...

Anon at 9:40's comment makes me think even more that these have to be based on your body shape. I'm an inch taller and only 5 lbs heavier than her, but a lot of my weight is in my butt and upper thighs. The result is that my usual size 6 was insanely see-through. I wanted to love these because I love the E&F bra and the deep indigo color, but the see-through factor plus the high waist (that ends up baggy if I size up) makes it sadly not worth it. I'm glad they work for some people though, the stretchy fabric is amazing!

Anonymous said...

I'm slim but I carry the weight that I do have in my thighs and rear, so I think I'll avoid the Ebb & Flows.

Also, Anon 9:40? Major snaps to you for doing a 5K while 36 weeks pregnant!

I would normally never bother but apparently people can't see further than LLL and sorry if I wasn't clear. I was just trying to be helpful:
the CK nude seamless are NOT just for one pair of WU crops. I have light colored professional skirts, dresses & pants and formal stuff that are the main reason to own that type of underwear! (A thong is not the answer for all outfits). It so happened that when I acquired that pair of WU's, I did the sheer test at home in daylight and realized the nudes would be necessary. And yes it is absolutely dumb to have to worry about what underwear you wear under LLL. It is not this way for most of my LLL gear, just lately it's clear that the even the regular Luon is getting thinner. Cheers.

hey, i was wondering what peoples opinions are, astro or groove?
