Ewww on the run in the sun shorts. The pleats are bad, the cut is bad...everything about the 70's and 80's that was best left in the past.
I love the pleats!
Dangit. I had hope.... then I saw the pleats. So wishing, wanting, and waiting for the return of Groovy Runs or last summer's Run: The Fastest shorts! At 5' 11", I have to have the longer inseam, and don't care for the Turbo Runs.
Plleeaasseeee flashback giddiest tonight
Hoodie*** oops auto correct
The pleats are poufing out strangely on the skirt... wonder if it's a fabric issue (2-say stretch?) or just a design problem.
I think tall people look best in pleats. On shorter people they seem to balloon out awkwardly - especially if you carry a little tummy weight. These pics are super cute though and the girls look happy in the shorts. I like that they aren't TOOO skimpy! I will be passing on this style though as I feel pleats are unflattering on me and my tummy tum tum!
They remind me a lot of my Nike Tempos...I suppose that it all depends on who you ask as to if that's a good or a bad thing.
Just picked up a pair of the fossil/pig pink (def Pig Pink, not Blush Quartz) Run In The Sun Shorts at my local Northern Cali store, they just got them in today. The pleats don't bother me, I'm 5'6". I bought them specifically for running, and I think the pleats will actually create more air flow as our temps are reaching the 90s and hopefully prevent them from riding up. I'll test them out at the track tomorrow. The material is very lightweight and flowy, lighter than the Turbo Run shorts. And there is a zipper pocket on each side.
Funny thing about Lulu producing a backpack with the nifty crossbody straps -- can't really wear that with a Siwftly now, can you, because the Swiftly would snag...?
Cute run in the sun shorts!! I love the pic of the woman with her baby bump :) just found out I'm pregnant yesterday and will be stocking up on comfy shorts for the summer. Anything that has a stretchy waist and looks cute with a crb is a go in my opinion!!
I wonder what kind of watch that is. The turquoise or blue one. - In the photo of the woman with backpack. I've been looking for a sporty blue silicone type style watch!
