Photos of the Latest

A photo of the mythical Dune In Stride Jacket. I had heard there was one spotted in stores but found a photo of an actual jacket. Not the most exciting jacket but a good neutral, I suppose.

Indulge your inner Smurf with the Porcelaine Wunder Unders and matching Inner Stride Jacket. I was surprised to see the WUs went up to a 12. I like non-black WUs but these are too colorful for me.

Shown with Blurred Blossom Turbo shorts
Shown with Strength and Tone shorts and Bliss bag

Shown with the SE Zipper Wunder Unders

Shown with Blush Quartz Speed Shorts

Photos of the Wee Stripe Flash Dune Define, Scoop Neck and Cool Racerback tanks. I think the outdoor shots show the color best.

Photos of the new Iconic Wrap. Can't say I like it that the material has been changed to the Tencil Silk jersey stuff. It looks so thin and cheap for the price.

Photos of the SE Zipper Wunder Unders.

Photos of the Fossil/Blush Quartz and Porcelaine Reverse Groove shorts in both the regular and tall lengths.

New waistband in the Boogie (I think, it could be Reverse Groove) shorts.

The Namaste Tank looks very flattering in every photo I've seen. I need to try it on.

A couple of Meditate Pullover ideas. The top photo is with white Studio Pants and the bottom is with Porcelaine Strength and Tone shorts.

I've seen lots of photos pairing the Wee Stripe Dune Flash CRB with Blush Quartz bottoms. This is the Pace Setter skirt.

Fossil/White Find Bliss tank with matching Wunder Unders.

The Blush Quartz Pace Setter skirt. We saw this a few weeks ago but it's finally hitting all stores.

Wow, I like the Define a lot in these pictures. I feel like the neckline on the Scoop Neck doesn't match as well as it should.

Here's what I'm wondering: Has anyone tried on the Zippy Run Tank that was uploaded last week? I really like the looks of it but when I visited the stores last week none of them had it. I'd love to hear how it fits.

Anonymous said...

On another note...for fit reports I tried on a bunch of things at the stores last week (I am 4 hours from a store so try on a lot when I can) and here are some thoughts:

The Board Shorts are really, REALLY short. They're supercute but loose around the leg and ride up - no cellulite AT ALL allowed in these.

The Excel WAFS crops are really cute but as another stated they have a super low rise. Lowest of anything I've tried.

I compared the Centered Energy Bra to my Free To Be Bras. I really like it but it has almost no support. I'm a small B cup and Free To Be is fine for me to run. Centered Energy there was a ton of bounce when I hopped up and down, and when I lifted my arms above my head it wanted to rise up and gave me underboob.

Tame Me Tank - new favourite - amazing fit - very nice in Menthol, Porcelaine and Blush Quartz!

Hope this helps...

Don't have a retail store where I'm from so I'm wondering how comfy those zippers on the WUCs are when you're doing yoga... waiting for reviews. :)

OT: The Run: Wild Jackets are in WMTM in all colors, including Flash which was uploaded last week. I bought mine at full price but here's your chance to get it on MD, most sizes still available.

Anonymous said...

Flash Run Wild Jacket was not uploaded last week. It's been online for at least three or four weeks. I'd been eyeing since it was uploaded and got it as soon as it went to MD. Black Still pants in ALL sizes, both regular and tall were also uploaded in the WMTM. Two hours later most sizes are already sold out.

How does very one like white denim? I might get some pants in the white denim but have never tried it. I have tons in the black denim but not sure if the white is see through or is unflattering on ... Please let me know if you have any thoughts! I'd appreciate it!

The Define is gorgeous but bright, brighter than the wee stripe InStride. The Porcelain InStride is longer than the other InStrides, it was an easy pass for me. The dune colour is too plain and dull.

As you guys know, I love my Run Wild jacket ( have reviewed it twice on this blog). But I just can't decide if I need another. I have it in white, and always said if/when this day came, I'd get a black one. Now I just can't decide...thoughts anyone?

I just retutned the zippy run tank much to my dismay! I ordered it in porcelaine and love, love, love it, in fact I would have ordered it in every color if it worked out. I love the "front racerback" styling, I love the length and I especially love the three generous back pockets, much like a cycling jersey. I found it fit TTS.

What I did not love was the boob spillage out the sides! I'm a 34DD and if I zipped it all the way up I popped out the sides, and if I left it mostly upzipped I popped out the front with some major cleavage. Not appropriate for training, and even too much for casual wear in my opinion. If you are a C cup or smaller I think it's a wonderful tank in every way other way!

That being said I bought three of the Namaste tanks yesterday (blue and fossil floral and blck.grey), with the intention of returning one. I think I only want the porcelaine floral because it's sold out, but it may not be a good color in that pattern for me. I did not feel I spilled out the top or looked larger because of the gathered front, although I wish it was a plain fronted bra. Even though the tag promotes it as low coverage and low support I found it to have plenty. The neck strap did not bother me, and I find the scoop neck tank is much more uncomfortable behind the neck than any other tank made (but I still own a few!)

Hope this all helps

Focus,

I just read that run wild jackets went on sale otherwise I would have included my opinion above...

I own the black one and love it, although I own so many jackets I have only worn it a couple of times, but I like it enough to own another....but do I really want to spend another $80? I don't need more white, the grape is too deep of a color for summer, and I'm kind of flashed out, and besides I heard it ran more "pink". I'm holding out for the next run of product.

But if you wear yours all the time then look weigh the value of your $$. It's a great layering jacket and I love that you can see your tanks underneath, very versatile.

the run wild jacket...its that ruffle on the bottom and sleeves that made me hesitate. not for me. i like everything else about it. i have yet to purchase a running jacket which i need as i have not liked anything available yet. some things i love in photos but just are not for me.

i was thinking about the excel crops but there are a few reviews they are see through?

I was waiting patiently for the wu's in porcelain! They just arrived in our stores yesterday and I love love love them! Yay! I was so happy to buy them and will love wearing them. I don't think zippers on yoga/ workout clothes are very appropriate at all. You will feel them rubbing at some point or other! The white denim is not see through and acually very flattering, it's so thick it's like a girdle! Because of the thickness for me I found it too hot when I tried it on. The namaste tank looks so nice, can't wait to try this on, though I didn't see it in store yesterday.

I ordered the porcelaine grove pants when they were online. I got them and they looked like the pants from a Hilary Clinton pants suit, I returned them. I am hoping they are cuter in shorts form.
I saw the dune Stride last night and a new Blush No Limits.

I recently bought the white denim WUC and do not find them see-through. I did the bend over test and it passed. I like how the slightly thicker material seems to hold everything together more.

Any bottoms in procelaine remind me of Smurfs. Haha!

Flash run wild was uploaded last week, on the CAD side at least. I purchased it that morning and just received it Monday. It's going back though, cute as it may be, it is was not worth the $138 price I paid. I'm not sure if I would pay $79 for it.

Anonymous said...

Although Smurfs wear white bottoms ;) But yes, Porcelaine is very smurfy. Still loving it.

Anonymous said...

Just bought the blush quartz pacesetter from my store and love the color and sparkle!! It's a fairly light shade of pink that will go with practically anything...that sparkle is subtle & soooo pretty, love :)

Anonymous said...

Lol at the Smurf comment. I felt the same way about the pigment blue will pants.

Anonymous said...

The white denim is not see through at all, but very thick. Only problem is they are too warm for my climate this time of year.

The Namaste tank is growing on me! It looks so cute in the pictures. I hope they come out with more colors.

Can't wait to see the sparkle pace setters. I was hoping they would be uploaded this week. Hopefully next week!

Kristin said...

I like the dune stride. Yes, I know the color is completely boring but I like neutrals. I don't think it will compliment my skin tone though. I will definitely try it. The pace setters are cute but too girly for me. I love the combo of colors on the model w/ the bliss bag. I think its flash and pigment. What a great combo.

Im SO happy the run wild jacket is finally in WMTM!!! Any sizing suggestions? I wear a 6 in define and shirts with built in bras and 4 in everything else. 5'7" 130lbs 34C... 4 or 6??

I'm so frustrated these days..everything of any appeal is sold out online before the fricken sun comes up! I was especially taken with the Liberty Pullover (?) Sold out before 5:00 am!! I have no choice but to order online but refuse to spend my nights at my computer perhaps being lucky enough to snag one of the coveted new items. For Heaven's sake Lulu..if it sells out that fast, it's popular, restock it! Quick! Some of us need our sleep more than your clothes :)

I just returned the iconic wrap. Thin and cheap describes it exactly. It's a shame because the wrap would have been perfect if it had been made with different material (I think last year's wrap was not Tencel). The edges are unfinished and fraying. The back sticks to whatever top you're wearing under it which ruins the drape. I had such high hopes for this wrap but as it is it's the perfect example of lulu's declining quality. I advise everyone not to waste their money on this - it's not even worth buying this on sale.

AHHHHH ! I hate Fed Ex. I am on vacation this week so I was waiting yesterday for FED EX to deliver a package of Lulu stuff I bought as a b-day present to myself. I check online and the status was " out for delivery"
I had my window open and was sitting at my computer from 2-6pm. The window is next to my front door. At 6pm I checked the status again, still "out for delivery"
I check it this morning and it says it was delivered at 3:33pm yesterday ! Is Fed Ex now employing invisible drivers, there is NO way he was here yesterday at 3:33pm.
Where the hell is my $317 of Lulu items ???

Anonymous said...

@ anon 7:22 I'm also 5'7" and 139lbs but 34B my two Run Wild Jackets are 6. Perfect fit, not tight anywhere or too loose. Just comfortable to run in.

@anon 8:05 Thank you for the review! I have been coveting this wrap since it was uploaded but it never looked $98 worthy to me. After reading your review, I'm dropping the idea.

LOL at the Hillary Clinton pantsuits and the Smurf comments! Both so true!!

I meant 130 lbs above, not 139 (typing on the couch with one hand...)

The flash/dune looks so great in photos. I love pink and I really want to like it. I just can't do it in person though. OTOH, I picked up a pair of the porcelaine WUs as they were opening the box at my shop the other day. Already have an x-tra long racerback, 2 every yogi wee stripe tanks and 2 flow-y's in it. Porcelaine doesn't seem as bright to me, though now I'm going to have the smurf imagery every time I wear them! (Although, I certainly don't wear them all together, I mix with black). Love the stride, but already have 2 strides. They still have the dance studio in my size in store. Considering it, but am lulu-cut off for a few weeks due to an excessive lulu haul accumulation in the past few. lol

Anon @ 3:17am, I have the white denim dhanurasana crop and have no see through issue with them. The fabric is thicker and feels and looks so. Just don't wear flash underpants and you'll be fine.

yogibabe said...

@anon 3:17am-I have the Embrace crop in white denim. No see through here too, but like someone said above, it is a tad too warm for the warmer days that we are having now. I wear mine for my 6:00am classes instead of the afternoon ones. :)

Anonymous said...

I bought and returned the white denim wunder under crops. They were too thick for me. The color, I'd say, is more of a "light gray denim" than white. They were super comfy, hid all my lumps and bumps due to the thick and supportive material, and were not see through. I returned them because they were too hot for me for the spring and summer.

The Surf n Turf tote is back down to $78 on the website

Anonymous said...

Run wild jackets are on Canadian website WMTM, $79

Anonymous said...

I really am liking my yoga camp crops, so I hope they make a dune pair. Has anyone seen any yet?

Anonymous said...

I agree on the Iconic Wrap. The wrap fabric is cheap looking (though I love it in the full expression tee). It doesn't drape well over whatever you are wearing underneath.
I excitedly ordered mine on-line and am quite dissapointed-it will be going back.

Anonymous said...

I adore all the reviews of what everyone has tried.

My two cents from my visit to the local lulu store today:

The Flash-Dune wee stripe CRB is STILL extremely bright. I was a little taken aback by how bright it was, in fact. Oh well.

The new porcelain running shorts with the WAFS waistband (Turbos, maybe?) are very cute. And I say that as someone who is hard to please when it comes to running shorts.

And my store still has the Dance Studio Jacket in porcelaine, and it is taking a lot of will power for me to resist it. I have to resist, though, because I've already bought about five other items in porcelaine!

Got my black ebb & flow crops today via FedEx and am disappointed because this pair runs a full size smaller. I am size 8 in lulu bottoms, but it feels super tight like a 6. Disappointing because I had bought the classic sport gray in an 8 and it fits perfectly. Oh well; these are going back.

Zippy Run Tank went back for me too. 34DD- massive side boob!

Anyone know if the Meditate Pullover in Fossil has hit Canadian stores yet??

I'm dying to get my hands on one, unfortunately Dune is not so much my color!

Anonymous said...

My Zippy Run tanks are going back too.
I bought it in WHITE and you can't insert cups so it would be see thru when sweaty.
I did like the 3 pockets on the back. That would come in handy on a run but this top is not supportive enough to run in.

Focus said...

Can't wait for a liberty t review...thanks to all the addicts for such great information!

Got my ebb & flows yesterday. They work great for me. They feel invisible like many of you indicated, and did the bend over test...no issues! Felt confident enough to deadlift, hope my assessment was correct and I don't end up on YouTube:)

And decided I definately do not need another run wild jacket...for now:)

Also, yoga camp crops...LOVE!

And if the Lulu Gods are listening, relaxed fit pants in fun colors for the fall. I know so many people who desire to wear colored pants that are not tight, for bumming around, but still being standout. Not as loose or unstructured as studio crops can occasionally look. Plus relaxed fit pants are great when you don't feel like groove, astro, or WUing it, and they go great with Stride jackets. Just sayin' :)

Meditate in Fossil came and went on the Canadian site. Sorry!

Anonymous said...

Fossil meditate was in Oshawa, Ontario store last Friday.

Btw, City Practice Pants also showed up on WMTM (US side at least) late last night when Run: Wild jacket did. I think these pants don't get enough credit. I bought them in all three colors/fabric. They are long and flattering and freakin have pockets that my iPhone actually fits in!! Anyway, they are my current favorite pants. Anyway, that's my opinion. Love them!! Wish I hadn't paid full price for the black and gray that are now on sale, but worth it as you never know what will end up on there and what won't!

FYI - porcelaine turbo run shorts with WAFSMay waistband are the soft, 4-way stretch material, so are the fossil beachy print turbo runs. I know there was a whole stiff vs. soft, 2-way vs. 4-way stretch turbo runs debate the other day, so I thought I'd throw that out there if anyone was wondering. Saw them both yesterday at my local store in Austin, TX.

Run: Wild Jacket. No thanks, not even for $79.

Any insight if we'll ever see ebb & flow crops in concord grape???

Anon 6:29,

What about WUC in WAFSMay?

Anonymous said...

just got my flash dahuransana crops YIKES!! they are bright - super cute though. Might have to wear as street clothes only - not sure if I can walk into a gym with them on :)

Anonymous said...

Saw a Blush Quartz Power Y at a So Cal store today. The stores are getting items that are not online - I like that! Also saw the fossil/white beachy floral CRB - should have grabbed it....:( Now that's all i can think about!! Cute with my white denim stuff.

Anonymous said...

I always thought that everyone who worried over the "feel" of the various CRBs was being overly sensitive...until today. I felt the porcelaine beachy floral and the fossil beachy floral CRBs today at my store, and ugh! I'm not sure how it's possible for something to feel scratchy and slick at the same time, but these CRBs somehow managed to achieve the impossible. And I was sad. I was thinking of getting one until I felt them. The Power Ys in the same pattern, however, felt fine.

Pink Peony 4 said...

I have some and they are not see through. At times I would size up in denim since they feel more constricting to me. I guess since they are lighter they show the heft of the legs and thighs more. They're not much different from other denim colors IMO.

Pink Peony 4 said...

The excel is really low waisted and can be see through. I should have sized up but I was hoping all this exercising will help me fit in my regular size but the stitching that runs across the thigh area can dig in and it has a tapered hem so where it falls below the knee can be slightly tight too. I always wear a longer top with these crops not the ones with cinches at the hem. They ride up and I feel too self conscious when that happens. I'm a size 4 in all lulu btw. I could definitely use a 6 here.

Pink Peony 4 said...

I love mine from last year. It's a different material though. Not this kind. It really is a classy looking wrap. It's flattering since it's slightly shorter and sort of dramatic. It does not scream athletic wear or some sort of technical something. Too bad this go round is not of better quality.

anonymous me said...

allison,

the Meditate Pullover in fossil is in Canadian stores, though it's sold out on online. I bought one in a store the other day, and I was in two stores this week and both had all sizes in stock.

Hope you can get one! I have the black and the fossil and love them. Different fit than the tea lounge (have navy and coal) pullover, but still the same comfy feel.

Katie said...

Ok Focus- try the bend over test in ALL lighting. I have worn ebb and flow crops since the 1st release and truly thought people were high for saying they are see-through. That was until I got my Indigo ones yesterday and did a bend overf test in daylight...WOW! They are whole-crack see-through! So I put on my black ones taht I have been wearing everywhere and they are see through too...though not as bad. I think I am taking the indigo ones back. :( I pondered some seamless underwear with them, then realized that defeats the point of them! I will keep the ones I've had, obviously...but you made me laugh cuz I have been wearing them to barbell class and deadlifting--AT THE FRONT OF CLASS! AHHHH!

anonymous me said...

allison,, p.s. should mention the stores above with in stock fossil Meditates were in Calgary.

Anonymous said...

I have the meditate fossil..... Can't decide if it's a keeper yet! Yikes! To rip off the tags or not!

Focus said...

Katie!!! This is some dang terrible news that my ebb and flows are see through...crap! No wonder people were reviewing them as they "feel invisible", and feel "like they are not wearing anything", it's because apparently...WE AREN'T !!!!! LOL!

Oh well, they are cute and super comfortable :)

Anonymous said...

Did anyone read the "b-hole" comment on the my superficial endeavors blog re: the ebb and flows sheerness? How mortifying.

Anon 7:22 regarding Run Wild Jacket. I wear define-4 power-y --6. Crb-4. All my jackets are 4's. I got a blk run wild jacket in 6. I went up on size so that I could zip it up. I wouldn't go w a 4. Hope this helps.

Anonymous said...

Anon 7:22 here, thanks for the fit advice. Just ordered run wild in the purple in size 6!!! I waited too long as white was sold out, my local store still has all the colors in my size but they're not on sale so I had to order online. Would have preferred a more "springy" color but oh welll..... Maybe they'll come out with porcelaine :)

This wrap costs as much as it should. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lyocell#section_4.
- eco-friendly
- more expensive to produce than cotton or rayon
- it's blended with silk
