Ms. N reports that a new purple is coming - Bruised Berry. It's supposed to be lighter than Concord but darker and brighter than Rose Quarz. I wonder if this is the purple from the sneak peek photo.
To me, the photo looks like concord. Personally, I'm sick of purple... Lulu always has a purple out and I own way too much at this point. I want more green, blue, and soft yellow. And no more neons!!
I want some teal and aqua. But Persian purple was very nice. I liked that color a lot. I think what looks like purple in that photo is just the sun hitting the black, and Instagram color distorting it further. But we'll see...hopefully tonight.
I'm hoping for the teal/purple space color in the next upload. All these super bright colors do nothing for me.
I adore purple, so I'm always happy when a purple shade is released, but we did just have Concord Grape. I'm surprised that they'd do another purple this soon. Not that I'd complain because I'm not about to start wearing neon yellow or pink or orange, not with my pasty complexion. I don't want to scare people!
Yeah, we just had a purple, but it was a dark purple (concord grape) and then a pastel purple (rose quartz)....but I want a bright vibrant purple (ultraviolet had too much pink in it). Not all purples are created equally!!!! I want a bright summery purple-like whatever color the lulu paradise rashguard last year was (dewberry? Dahlia?)
Funny how we all see rose quartz differently. My impression is that's it's more purple than pink. And it does go well with my purple running tights. My pink tops clash. Vicki
Bruised Berry...hmmm, there was a Bruise released in Spring 2009 that is a bluish-purple color...looks almost like Concord Grape. Hoping this Bruised Berry is closer to Violaceous or Dewberry.

Rose quartz is definitely a purple, a pale purple with some pinkish hue, but definitely a purple. Blush quartz in the pink.
I do wish they'd bring back persian purple. I love that color. But I agree, I would like more greens and blues and a pale yellow would be awesome.

I visited my local Lululemon at Santana Row in San Jose, CA and they told me the Bruised Berry looks like Pomegranate or crushed rasberry.
Rose Quartz definitely has purplish tinge to it, more like a lilac than a pink. Blush Quartz is the pink one.
