Upload!

Hmm, very small upload tonight. I wonder if that means all the new June stuff will come out next week since the new month starts then. I didn't order anything since I already bought the fossil Beachy Floral CRB at the store the other week. I really like it.

Did you get anything tonight?

WhooHoo! Got my heathered menthol Power Y! Only that, but properly satisfied. :)

I know this is the women's blog... But does anyone know what the men's seawheeze shorts look like? I pray they aren't polka dotted

We haven't had a single new item for 3 weeks. :/

Oh I really want a Run wild jacket and beachy fossil crb... any kind Americans feel like hooking up a poor Aussie who's been locked out of the us site?!?

I'm still waiting for my May WAFS CRB. Hopefully next week...

Anyone notice that there is a selection for 'Groove Pants' - so not just 'pants'. Makes it easier to see all the Grooves. Maybe it's been there before and I just never noticed it :)

Heathered Menthol Power Y! and a pair of Black Run: Ultra Short 2
I'm spoiled with the feel of Lulu back zipper pockets! I love my nike tech capris but after wearing lulu I noticed how the nike back pocket felt like a plastic sandwich bag sticking to my lower back EEK! -- also so happy i picked up the inkblot run switchback shorts, though no zip pocket - I love the full soft stretchiness and the option to ruch up the sides! cute!

I couldn't be happier with todays upload: Finally nothing, nada that I wish to order! I blew well over $4k in lululemon in the last four weeks (not including all the Fedex and customs fees and taxes). Really need break.

Same here. Nothing for me. Had a quick look and I know that no need to look again. Will check out next week and get them mail to shipito since no more OZ shipping....

I'm still waiting for a WAFS May crb and a menthol No Limits. Will there be any, ever?? My wallet needed a break, I've ordered something every week for the past several weeks! Ugh

I agree

Just the menthol power Y for me. I was surprised by the small size of the upload as well.

@Anon 4:05AM: When the May WAFS pattern first came out I asked an educator if they were going to make that in a CRB and she said they were, so I'm assuming it's still coming. I remember having to wait a long time for the April WAFS print, too, so I haven't completely lost hope.

Guess we are never getting the menthol swiftly tank? Bummer!

Omg! Terrible upload! I guess that's ok! Money saver! Hopefully they make a gorgeous sweater or bag for next week!!!!!

Anonymous said...

the mini uploads probably mean there will be a rather large one soon.

The small uploads are just one more indicator that the new lulu CEO is running a formerly good company into the ground :( Looks like the beginning of the end. Time to unload lulu stock, too.

I guess I'm the only one spending money! There were a few items uploaded that I had been waiting for (blush no limit, beachy print crb and dune in stride - I know most ppl probably think it's pretty boring but i've been wanting a neutral in stride for awhile now. I almost got all black a few weeks ago but thought the dune would be more summery)

I was hoping for more inner heart bras or a new ta ta tamer color. I was also hoping for a restock of the flash define, but alas... Nothing for me. I was happy to see the menthol power Y, though. This style tank doesn't work for me (and I already have 3 awesome methol tops), but so many have commented that they were waiting for it. I am happy for those that got their wish!

The men's Sea Wheeze shorts are just like the women's. Just kidding - wouldn't that be awful! I want to know what the men's shorts look like too.

I'm just starting to get the hang of the Lulu strategy for keeping their customers hooked and buying things they might not really like. It's starting to disturb me that we all race to our computers Tuesday morning to catch the latest upload before everyone else has a chance to snap up all of the new items. See, why do I even know when the upload is? That right there isn't normal.

There's no way in hell I'm going to drop $60 on a tank top if there aren't reviews and pictures of it on real women but by the time I get that info the item's sold out in all of the fun colors. This feeds the eBay resale market where, instead of Lulu making additional sales through their actual store, some eBayer is getting beaucoup bucks by marking up items in rare, sold out colors. I've been hoping for some new colors for the No Limits tank since I bought one a month ago and found that I love it, but by the time I checked this morning there was nothing left but the same old boring, unflattering (on me) colors/prints.

For those of us who don't live super duper close to a store blindly buying online and returning to a store within two weeks isn't always an option. That's such a short span of time and since I can only make the trek to my store on the weekends I don't want to chance not making it there in time. At this point even my husband, who loves driving, is getting tired of my frequent requests for a road trip in the direction of Lulu. The brand is losing some of its appeal for me and I find myself frustrated rather than excited by the new uploads. I think the love affair might be over...

Sourkraut I've thought of some of this before and it annoys me too! But you raise another interesting point that I didn't think of about the eBay thing. I understand that Lulu wants to limit their supply to keep people always wanting a little more than they can get - this is obviously a marketing thing, that works, but why do they do it to the extent that they are losing out on sales that are then occurring on eBay? I mean, obviously whatever is in eBay was purchased from Lulu at some point - but the inflated prices, like you said, means they could sell more...

I'm also curious, how does SO much end up on eBay? How do the eBay sellers know what to bulk buy and how do they do it? Just order multiple sizes the second they can? I wonder with the factory in China now if some of it is stolen. When I traveled in Cambodia everything in the markets was Banana Republic, Hollister, Abercrombie etc and it was basically all stuff that had gone out the back door of the factory..

Although the upload was boring I got the Run:Stuff your Bra Tank in Fossil/wee are from space/Flash! Yaay! I've been wondering how I was going to track one down! Now, my dream would be for the Tame Me Tank to come out in a sunshiny yellow or a bright emerald green. Or some luon crops in plain coal (not a heatgered colour!)

Heathered Menthol Power Y tank and White CRB Zipper for me. I couldn't resist how cute white CRB Zipper look pairing with a pastel/pattern bra.

I took advantage of the small upload and purchased the white studio pants I been eyeing.

Given how quickly the Inner Heart bra sold out, don't they see that the gals with bigger chests want and will buy luxtreme bras with more support?? Enough with the low support/low coverage, they've got about 10 different styles that are constantly available. I'm about to purchase my 3rd Energy bra on ebay. I hate to do it, but they work much better for me than my Nike or Champion sports bras. I get so frustrated and every week I tell myself I'm going to stop buying/supporting the brand, yet every week I'm anxiously awaiting the upload... I don't know of any other company that treats its customers so indifferently yet remains so profitable.

Sourkraut I am with you, I hate stalking the web site and the stores for hot items. I think it is time to move on.

I ordered the menthol power y and the dune/flash/wee stripe daily tank. I really want to like the daily tank so I tried sizing down to alleviate the long strap issue. Hope it works.

Disappointed with the upload but my bank account is happy! :) Still trying to find the flash define though...none of my stores have it.

Nothing for me. I was waiting for the heathered menthol power y, but saw it at La Costa Resort last week and the color was not good on me. (My son also informed me that green doesn't flatter me...funny kid, he informed me that color is his dharma) Did pick up an heathered ultra violet power y on eBay. My son approved.

I drove with my friend to a Lulu store- not show room an actual STORE! It is SO much more interesting than our local showroom which only has basic blacks a few returns and doesn't accept cash (shady!) Anyway the actual store is nice! lots available but the man behind the counter seemed shocked/annoyed when my friend had a huge load to return. Thats what happens though when the only option you have for getting something you might like in the colors you want, is to blind buy it and hope it works out. I still love lulu items for the cute factor. . .but it is diminishing. I really love beyond yoga and splits59. beyond yoga has TERRIBLE customer service though. Splits59 has amazing customer service - both have superior quality sportswear. both made in USA. -- don't you think its cheesey to see companies print on the label.. DESIGNED in Los ANgeles, Manufactured in China. lol who cares where it was designed.

@inspirehealth16 Suzanne-
I am lucky enough to have two of the Namaste tanks, fossil beachy floral and blush quartz wee stripe. Really flattering on! It's TTS, with looser fit in the body. I am a 32A and with the cups, the fit is great. :) I heard that this tank even fits larger chested ladies just fine and the straps do not pull at all. Hope you'll be able to find one. I am hoping for more in other colors, menthol perhaps?

Anonymous said...

I also got the Namaste tanks in blush quartz (still waiting for it to arrive) but went to the store for my porcelaine beachy floral. It is really flattering on. I love this one!

Anonymous said...

I think the namaste tank is really beautiful I wore it this weekend (black) and it is so flattering. I am busty and it held the girls well. I can see doing yoga in this top or just for a summer evening. Very sexy.

inspirehealth16 said...

Wow! Thank you guys for the replies on the Namaste. Now I'm even more determined to get one. I'm like Sourkraut, I hate stalking the website, but for the namaste tank...I just may have to do that. I hope they will bring out more colors in it as well. Since it went so quick--I think they will---hopefully!!!

I just picked up a Flash Zip Up CRB (only one size left online) and the May WAFS CRB in store. Tried on the Daily Tank in Menthol, love the colour, but there was only 8's left and it was far too low cut on my 32DDD's.

@anon 9:30pm
May WAFS CRB? Want it!!!! Which store was that and has anyone else seen it? Maybe it will even make an appearance in the upload next week, I'm hoping...

I spend 3-digit figure on Lulu almost everyweek so that's a lot of new stuff. Besides the bags & non-clothing accessories I find most stuff are now made in Sri Lanka, Cambodia & Vietnam. This diversity makes me think the ebay problem is just our crummy economy's by-product: home based ebay career.

Minda--
Why is the showroom policy (which to my knowledge is common to all showrooms) to only take credit cards "shady"? If anything, it's the other way around--businesses that deal in a lot of cash typically report very little of it as income for tax purposes. Anyone who can afford Lulu has a credit card, even if it may not be their preferred method of payment. I don't see anything "shady" about the policy.

I emailed lulu after I had bad service after trying to return things! I don't see what the big deal is! What because they have to do work now!???!? Ugh! I hate when I get bad service! Cause sometimes it's so good!!!!

Kelowna, BC. I always have way more luck in store than online.

Oh my gosh! scratch that. It was April, blush. Why was that stuck in my head.
